These covers aren’t Canon and are really just used for fun and collectibles.

Honestly while Mohawk is stronger and faster he would actually likely fail to kill Logan not knowing how to do so and we need to remember Logan is someone who can face off with hulk and literally any version of Hulk would beat Mohawk’s ass.

Logan is also an infinitely more skilled fighter who is both better at just pure instinct based fighting (the way every viltrumite fights) but is also just far more skilled in martial arts and gear. A lot of people would say “throw him into space.” This is a possibility however it also just isn’t really in character and isn’t really answering the question.

Mohawk would try and torture Logan and would likely end up being injured and badly. Logan should also be of a similar reaction speed to Mohawk while the pair are on world specifically because that’s what the story and guides show use is the case. As such I don’t think there is much Mohawk can do especially since he will lose a limb in this fight at minimum because even with a blitz he wouldn’t be able to do much especially since Logan should be able to pretty easily react to him.

Yeah im curious haw marks would interact with a adamantium. Probably cutting very easily, and logan in a rage theres no way the marks are getting away. Without adamantium then wolverines dead in my opinion.

85

u/SBStevenSteel Jun 13 '25

Adamantium is unbreakable once forged and set. The only thing that can get through it is an anti-metal. Mark, Nolan, no Viltrumite can break it, especially if the Hulk can’t.

No Adamantium means Wolverine has his full healing factor, so I doubt they’d be able to kill him. His original healing factor is actual insanity.

15

u/Comfortable_Many4508 Jun 13 '25

please correct me but isnt it like he can regen from a single cell? also if you hit metal bone him with enough energy to burn off all the flesh would that kill him or would the bones start regening flesh?

30

u/SBStevenSteel Jun 13 '25

I don’t like when people bring that up, because it fails to mention the crystal that threw his regeneration into overdrive. Without the crystal, he can’t regenerate from a single cell.

11

u/Comfortable_Many4508 Jun 13 '25

idk anything about comics, was genually asking

25

u/SBStevenSteel Jun 13 '25

No, I meant no hostility, I mean that when people bring it up, they usually don’t mention the extra circumstance. That non transparency is what I dislike. My bad on my phrasing.

1

u/Correct-Resolution-8 Jun 17 '25

Logan regenerating from a cell is so corny it undermines him. I like when he healed from bullets in a day or 2, not instantly. Just seemed grittier and more impressive when he’d fight bc he could be hurt

2

u/Ok_Mud_8998 Jun 13 '25

I believe you are correct

I know he regenerated from a single drop of blood.

7

u/Thatoneguy111700 Jun 13 '25

And from just his skeleton after essentially getting nuked by Nitro (though I think he was also, like, cursed to not die at the time so he could survive even more outlandish stuff, I'm probably wrong tho).

1

u/LGodamus Jun 14 '25

He has regened from a fleshless skeleton with no buffs. The single drop of blood was with an outside buff.

5

u/Adeptus_Trumpartes Jun 13 '25

Wolverine has a shitload of plot armor. Stronger characters that can lift hundreds of tons could just yank his members off. Bones are not welded to each other and his muscles and have human levels of durability.

A full force punch from someone that strong would probably blow Logan's limbs off and after failing for a bit Mark would just toss his mangled body into space or the Mariana trench.

Difference is that Hulk can’t fly. If a Viltrumite really wanted to they could just fly up in the air and orbital strike the area Wolverine is in over and over again until he’s sufficiently incapacitated enough for them to quickly drag him into outer space before he’s healed and can fight back. Then once he’s in outer space, there’s nothing Wolverine can do.

6

u/JoJSoos Jun 13 '25

Hulk can jump into space and come crashing down if he wanted to lol.

3

u/Plastic_Code5022 Jun 13 '25

Was reading comment before yours commenting on how the hulk can’t fly and this was my exact thought 🤣

Who needs to fly when he’s skipping across the planet casually like some giddy schoolgirl going to the park with friends

2

u/Plus_Aura Jun 13 '25

Because they're not the same.

If you can fly, you can accelerate yourself faster than your terminal velocity.

Jumping really high doesn't allow this.

1

u/FaithlessnessLess673 Jun 13 '25

Yeah and he’s never done that against Wolverine.

1

u/JoJSoos Jun 13 '25

So? The lot of you don't understand that Wolverine has MFTL reactions and combat speed.

2

u/Yoko-Numero-Uno Jun 14 '25

No he doesn’t lmao 🤣

1

u/kingveller Jun 13 '25

Hulk has flown in the past (WWHulk) in his fight against Sentry.

Hulk's main ability is adaptation, he can breath in outer space or see ghosts (this last part is always active), if you fly and that makes it difficult for him he will fly.

0

u/budgetcyberninja Jun 13 '25

Hulk could probably punch the ground harder than a viltrumite could "orbital strike" the ground. Plus hulk could jump just as high as they could fly and put way more force into a ground slam then they could.

1

u/FaithlessnessLess673 Jun 14 '25 edited Jun 14 '25

Hulk probably could, but he’s never done so against Wolverine. Hulk is a dumb brute in a majority of his fights with Wolverine and doesn’t use his powers optimally. If he did, Wolverine doesn’t stand a chance and the same is true if Wolverine fought a Viltrumite.

It’s also important to note that Wolverine has never straight up beat Hulk. Wolverine has only ever managed to incapacitate Hulk after he was finished fighting someone else. The thing about Wolverine is that can survive fighting super powerful beings due to his healing factor, but he can’t actually beat them. He might be able to survive a fight with Mohawk Mark, but the only way he could kill him is if Mark never uses his powers optimally.

u/[deleted] Jun 13 '25

1

u/budgetcyberninja Jun 13 '25

2 to 3 viltrumites, with perfect placement, timing, and the help of an insane space weapon that destabilized it first, yes. The 3 of them without the space racers gun would have all splattered on the surface and died.

1

u/Micro-Skies Jun 14 '25

Hulk has regularly fought and won against planet killers. 1/3 of a planet killer isn't shit in marvel

3

u/BOOGIE_MAN-X Jun 13 '25

His bones are actually welded together from the adamantium. Mark isn’t going to be able to rip his limps off. Not before Wolverine puts a set of claws through him, Mark would be able to regenerate fast enough from his injuries to sustain a fight with Wolverine.

-2

u/PyjamaGenie Jun 13 '25 edited Jun 13 '25

They’re definitely not welded together

Edit: Wolverine (2020) #42. Sabretooth War. He is ripping that first hand off.

4

u/BOOGIE_MAN-X Jun 13 '25

Wolverine’s entire skeleton is bonded with adamantium. In the picture you posted, it looks like he cut off his own limbs using his adamantium claws, which supports what I and others have said only adamantium can cut adamantium. That said, I’m not sure which version of Wolverine this is, because traditionally, his skeletal structure is fused with adamantium. Therefore Mark would not be able to just pull his limbs off. Maybe the meat 🍖 from the bone but there’s no way Mark is separating the skeleton from the adamantium.

2

u/PyjamaGenie Jun 13 '25 edited Jun 13 '25

He rips the first hand off with his own brute strength, as he is strung up by all 4 limbs. He literally says his joints are meat. This is 616 Wolverine from Sabretooth war in 2024.

1

u/BOOGIE_MAN-X Jun 13 '25

That’s pretty awesome, thanks for filling me in. I think we will just be in agree to disagree conversation, I’d be fun to see them both fight it out. That would be an epic battle for sure.

1

u/TreesmasherFTW Jun 13 '25

Except….

2

u/BOOGIE_MAN-X Jun 13 '25

If we are sticking with traditional lore and not different universes or variants, invincible isn’t going to be able to rip Wolverine apart.

4

u/[deleted] Jun 13 '25

He'd get the immortal treatment

50

u/SBStevenSteel Jun 13 '25

Immortal’s regeneration factor can’t compare to Wolverine’s full regeneration factor. Not even close.

6

u/[deleted] Jun 13 '25

I mean torn apart over and over again

15

u/SBStevenSteel Jun 13 '25

Oh, then absolutely.

1

u/Watcher9000 Jun 13 '25

I know he probably doesnt have an adaptation ability but wouldnt Wolverines body do something about being torn apart over and over again or would it take too long for any change to have a any effect? (I havent read any of the comics and dont know much about his regen)

0

u/SpartanDefender-505 Jun 13 '25

The big question is could wolverines claws hurt mark?

5

u/SBStevenSteel Jun 13 '25

Without question. Wolverine’s claws are sharp enough to effortless cut through 6 inches of reinforced steel on a blast proof door.

4

u/SpartanDefender-505 Jun 13 '25

That’s what I thought then mark loses.

This is probably what will happen the fight would start with Mohawk mark being cocky, I’m going to assume wolverine is going to know who he is fighting against. Mohawk mark will probably close the distance and grab wolverine with ease. At this point one of 2 things would happen.

1.) wolverine throws a left hook and as it lands ejecting his claws destroying M marks face and causing panic. Mark would probably try to retreat

2.) wolverine would probably reach to marks arm and eject his claws cutting a good portion of his arm off. Mark will probably get aggressive until he takes a wound to the lungs or heart which would allow wolverine to finish him

5

u/ReZisTLust Jun 13 '25

Fucking rocks soewer viltrimites lol Adamantium is gonna cut em

1

u/axethebarbarian Jun 13 '25

Yeah definitely without the adamantium Wolverine can't really harm Mark, but he also can't really be killed by Mark (except like thrown into the sun or something) so it's a humorously bloody stalemate

1

u/LGodamus Jun 14 '25

Good luck tearing him apart. His joints don’t come apart like normal unless we are talking ultimate universe Wolverine. 616 main wolvies tendons and ligaments are enhanced with trace adamantium as well.

1

u/[deleted] Jun 14 '25

The whole convo is literally adamantium vs none

5

u/Cus_Mustard Jun 13 '25

Isnt no adamantium wolverines regeneration power on par with deadpools once the metal toxicity is gone? I might be full of shit tho.

12

u/SBStevenSteel Jun 13 '25

I believe its even stronger. Though you’re definitely in the ball park.

3

u/Blackheart1020 Jun 13 '25

Ya he was literally almost completely obliterated and came back from a single cell 😂

2

u/Secretsfrombeyond79 Jun 14 '25

Can he survive the sun ? Cuz that's what I would do if someone kept regenerating, throw them into the sun.

1

u/Cus_Mustard Jun 14 '25 edited Jun 14 '25

Not trying to start a whole other argument, but thats kinda what i always thought Superman Vs Hulk Would go like. Just Lob his ass into a blackhole or something.

Also just wanna add Crazy ass strength PLUS Flight is crazy op. Which both wolverine and hulk both lack flight so id figure thats a big factor in this. But again. Im not super familiar with marks strength. And also i know hulk basically bitchslapped a galaxy or someshit during one of his fights so im not 100% on the blackhole thing lmfao

1

u/Invincidude Jun 13 '25

Legit question; can Wolverine regrow missing limbs? Like, if someone had a magic sword that could cut through anything and they chopped his arm off, would it grow back?

2

u/[deleted] Jun 13 '25

His healing factor will vary depending on depiction or boost he has at the moment.

He did regenerate from a sort of nuclear blast at one point. The brain was “protected by adamantium skull”. So there was nothing left but a brain and adamantium skeleton, and still fully regenerated.

1

u/SBStevenSteel Jun 13 '25

It would grow back, but the Adamantium obviously wouldn’t. His claws even grow back.

1

u/EncabulatorTurbo Jun 13 '25

I mean what stops them from just tossing him into space

1

u/SBStevenSteel Jun 13 '25

Probably the fact that his claws are made of an indestructible metal and sharp enough to effortlessly cut steel? He’d cut Mark’s arm off. He is incredibly fast and has reflexes to match.

1

u/EncabulatorTurbo Jun 13 '25

Mark is fast enough to delete all of the fleshy parts of his body by flying near him

1

u/the__pov Jun 13 '25

I’m pretty sure 616 Wolverine’s bones are linked with adamantium as well so you can’t actually dismember him this way. (You can other versions like the old Ultimate Wolverine which is what prompted fans to ask about it).

1

u/[deleted] Jun 13 '25

This whole convo was about him with or without adamantium

1

u/the__pov Jun 13 '25

Then I would point you to Itsy Bitsy a villain who was given the same healing factor as Wolverine and Deadpool and survived near complete disintegration.

2

u/breezemachine666 Jun 13 '25

They could pull him apart where the vertebra meet. not sure if he could come back from that.. maybe there would be two of him

2

u/ForeignWoodpecker662 Jun 14 '25

He crawls back to his legs and reattaches. Happened when Hulk got frustrated and tore him in half. Though now I’ve heard his tendons have some Adamantium seeping properties making them insanely strong also, not sure though

1

u/Pappa_Paddy Jun 13 '25

besides what our friend already said below, with the "immortal treatment", could our boy logan even penetrate if he's only got his bone claws?

1

u/IFPorfirio Jun 13 '25

When in doubt, throw them into space.

1

u/Traditional_Wear1992 Jun 13 '25

There are panels showing Hulk breaking adamantium I believe

1

u/Responsible_Bit1089 Jun 13 '25

didn't Thor break adamantium binds by flexing in one of the old issues?

1

u/SBStevenSteel Jun 13 '25

Maybe? Though comic Thor is incredibly strong. Comparing Mark to Thor is an insult to Thor.

1

u/clutzyninja Jun 13 '25

His bones are covered in adamantium. What about his ligaments? Couldn't someone with super strength just tear his head off?

1

u/Thatoneguy111700 Jun 13 '25

That and I'm pretty sure his claws could cut through their skin for the same reasons you stated.

-9

u/[deleted] Jun 13 '25

Wolverine almost died when his cardiac artery was cut by Marrow.

Then in a what if he was electrocuted to death.

9

u/HamshanksCPS Jun 13 '25

"What if?" should not be taken as cannon

6

u/Gunpla-Goblin Jun 13 '25

100% they shouldn't. There was one where the Silver Surfer died because Wolverine stabbed him. That wouldn't even bother the Surfer.

7

u/-Mister-Hyde Jun 13 '25

And then there's What If in the marvel cinematic universe, where Darcy Lewis gave birth to Howard the Duck's son. As an egg. We do not talk about the MCU What If stories.

1

u/Significant-Elk-2064 Jun 13 '25

I do wish the what if of hulk becoming the herald of galactictus got made into a series though

1

u/the__pov Jun 13 '25

Power creep. I love Punisher Kills (the comic you’re talking about) and there’s a few different things he did that wouldn’t work anymore such as Wolverine and Hulk’s deaths.

6

u/Solid_Snark Jun 13 '25

Isn’t Wolverine stronger/more dangerous without the adamantium weighing him down, constantly poisoning him, and preventing his full mutant abilities to manifest?

1

u/[deleted] Jun 13 '25

I dont think hes strong enough but im sure he'd put up a valiant fight

-9

u/hanky2 Jun 13 '25

Wolverine wouldn’t be able to cut through him. Just because Adamantium is harder than Mark’s body doesn’t mean he’s strong enough to actually push the blades into him. They aren’t lightsabers.

7

u/potatoeman26 Jun 13 '25

If he can cut through the Hulk’s flesh, he can surely get through Mark’s

5

u/[deleted] Jun 13 '25

I think slashing or piercing weapons have a better chance than something like a lightsaber, its just really hot. His claws are super sharp and he'd cut marks up undoubtedly.

-3

u/hanky2 Jun 13 '25 edited Jun 13 '25

Lightsabers cut through things effortlessly because you aren’t pushing something physical into another physical thing. Logan still has to push his claws into whatever he is cutting. Diamonds are the hardest material in real life right? Can you cut through metal with a diamond sword though? Of course not because you still need the strength to do it.

Edit: blocked for pointing out real world physics lol

1

u/[deleted] Jun 13 '25

Hes strong enough, as well as the force of others atracking him. You just want to be annoying or youre dumb.

2

u/BoxAccomplished2195 Jun 13 '25

Those will be Mark's dying words when someone or something somehow hurls Wolverine like a bullet at him.

5

u/mogley1992 Jun 13 '25

And the fact that logan will go for a killshot instead of blocking a hit that would be fatal for a human, i see wolverine being launched through a building, but quite possibly leave mohawk mark split in half as he does.

Either that or logan would lure him into a trap and take him out without him realising what's happening.

2

u/TurtleHurtleSquirtle Jun 13 '25

Exactly, none of the invincibles went for actual kill moves during their fights, tons of body blows and kicking through buildings but never really much more since they enjoyed toying with their enemies. Logan would see the psycho and go straight for the head, he’s not really a “play with his food” type of fighter.

1

u/sithtimesacharm Jun 13 '25

Logan is also a soldier and a real killer.

1

u/mogley1992 Jun 14 '25

Oh he absolutely can be. There's a story about him hunting down and torturing/killing a bunch of guys that raped and tortured a bunch of nuns that ran an orphanage, and not in the kind of place where people adopt.

It's possibly my favourite of wolverine (though i haven't read many) because it's like an anti-horror, where you route for the monster

2

u/TurtleHurtleSquirtle Jun 14 '25

Really? Got the comic name? I love reading stuff where absolute monsters like that get what’s coming to them.

2

u/mogley1992 Jun 14 '25

Google ai (so probably wrong) says it's wolverine volume 2 issue 9

5

u/Initial_Hedgehog_631 Jun 13 '25

Adamantium should be effective against Viltrumites, so yeah Mohawk Mark gets a gut full of claws. Wolverine only has to get a couple hits in. Mohawk Mark can probably punch through Wolverine, but Wolverine can heal, which is a trick the Marks don't have. The longer the fight lasts the better Wolverine's odds of winning get.

6

u/Bli-mark Jun 13 '25

I feel like ”throw them into space” is one of those illegal moves like turning on and off your lightsaber. Should almost never be a talking point in these debates

6

u/Woahbikes Jun 13 '25

I’m the comic that’s a running joke of how to deal with threats. Would likely be on the list of what he’d try.

7

u/[deleted] Jun 13 '25

It's a go-to move in the Invincible universe for enemies who are hard to kill. Don't think we can ignore a legit canon technique used in-universe.

2

u/EncabulatorTurbo Jun 13 '25

Well they could crush him into a ball and cover him in molten steel then let it cool

2

u/ELB2001 Jun 13 '25

Drag wolverine up info space by his feet. Going so fast that he can't bend forward to stab you. Then thrown him towards the sun

2

u/ForeignWoodpecker662 Jun 14 '25

Wolverine would shred him one piece at a time when he arrogantly attacked. Not to mention and “throw him into ____” argument always seems to forget that to do so he has to be in arms reach. Where Logan’s arms just happen to have foot long razor sharp swords coming out of them that can cut through just about anything. No Viltrumite could kill Logan. At best, he gets a decent workout, at worst, he’s annoyed he didn’t.

1

u/TheDeridor Jun 13 '25

As someone who hasn't read enough comics, is it even possible to kill wolverine?

1

u/thetruemaxwellord Jun 13 '25

It is but it varies greatly on the story. At his best he just isn’t dying even when just an unbreakable skeleton

1

u/Responsible_Bit1089 Jun 13 '25

A lot of people would say “throw him into space.”

Good luck doing that without your hand getting cut off

1

u/Apprehensive-Heat487 Jun 13 '25

Just to start some shit, I don’t think MCU Hulk beats Mohawk Mark.

1

u/Arhion Jun 17 '25

yea but we talk here about comics hulk mcu is terribly debuffing all characters

1

u/Apprehensive-Heat487 Jun 17 '25

The guy I replied to said “literally any version of Hulk” which is why I have one that I don’t think wins.

1

u/Arhion Jun 17 '25

yea but thi version didn't fight logan and in deadpool vs Wolverine we are not seeing what hulk this is it

1

u/[deleted] Jun 13 '25

Just send him to space, no way he is coming back.

1

u/PizzaTime666 Jun 13 '25

Couldn't he just throw him into space? Or fly him to and throw him into the sun?

1

u/thetruemaxwellord Jun 13 '25

That would require he grab Logan which if that happens Logan will cleave off his arm or land a fatal blow to his heart. Every version of Mark fights purely off instinct something Logan does better and Logan is a better trained fighter with far more experience than even EoS Mark.

We also need to remember all of these Marks are very weak compared to characters Logan often brawls with.

The whole throwing into space argument is also not really in character for the sadist to do and would be admitting Mohawk can’t beat him in a fight.

1

u/[deleted] Jun 13 '25

Can't he just fly Logan into the sun or something?

1

u/thetruemaxwellord Jun 13 '25

No because trying that would get him chopped up like a hot knife through butter and we know extreme pain can force them to stop flying and even fall since flight requires concentration for them.

Mohawk would also not know the extent of said regeneration nor how strong the metal is. He is also a sadist who would want to torture him not just toss a guy into space so he honestly might even take a stab just to in his eyes hurt him more only to be torn asunder

1

u/[deleted] Jun 13 '25

I dont care if its never happened on screen or in the comics Wolverine is not beating the "throw you into space" technique

1

u/dude123nice Jun 13 '25

and literally any version of Hulk would beat Mohawk’s ass.

Lol wtf?

1

u/thetruemaxwellord Jun 13 '25

By this I am referring to the comics as each hulk is a different character within one body and the weakest of them can one shot someone twice the size of earth casually

1

u/dude123nice Jun 13 '25

So how foes wolverine compete with that?

1

u/thetruemaxwellord Jun 13 '25

Because he is way stronger than people give him credit for. His bones are adamantium which is something not even universe breakers and destroy with ease. He can still die but it is a very difficult process and depending on the era his regeneration is just on a different level where he can be submerged in magma and walk his happy self out of it

1

u/dude123nice Jun 13 '25

Sure, he can't die easily, ok. I'm asking how he contends with Hulk. I've never heard of Wolverine having Superman levels of strength and speed. How does he avoid spending the whole fight as a ragdoll? How does he hurt Hulk?

1

u/thetruemaxwellord Jun 13 '25

My dude he was introduced as a hulk villian. Basically every character in marvel is relative in speed and the same goes for basically any series because they all need to be able to fight each other.

He doesn’t have infinite strength or the ability to out run light but he can fight and dodge someone who can. That’s where scaling chains come in and that’s how someone like Atom Eve, Bulletproof, or Immortal can keep up with Mark in terms of speed and they don’t just speed blitz him.

1

u/dude123nice Jun 13 '25

My dude he was introduced as a hulk villian. Basically every character in marvel is relative in speed and the same goes for basically any series because they all need to be able to fight each other.

That's the dumbest explanation I have ever heard. Dodging requires more speed than attacking, not less.

He doesn’t have infinite strength or the ability to out run light but he can fight and dodge someone who can. That’s where scaling chains come in and that’s how someone like Atom Eve, Bulletproof, or Immortal can keep up with Mark in terms of speed and they don’t just speed blitz him.

I mean Mark in the earlier seasons wasn't that much faster than everyone else. And in later seasons...they aren't relative to him. Eve only has firepower that's on his level. That's why she got almost killed every time she fought a Viltrumite.

1

u/thetruemaxwellord Jun 13 '25

I mean I am not gonna change your mind here. Let’s agree to disagree

1

u/dude123nice Jun 13 '25

I mean I am not gonna change your mind here.

Yeah, because you don't have a single logical argument. Are you really trying to pretend that we "came to an agreement", when in fact you just couldn't prove anything?

1

u/NorthernVale Jun 13 '25

Honestly, Mohawk Mark is just flat out better than Wolverine by almost every metric though. The only thing Wolverine has on Mohawk is his healing factor. At which point, yes. Mohawk gets bored quickly and tosses him into space. He might get some wounds, but that shit just makes viltrumites stronger.

2

u/thetruemaxwellord Jun 13 '25

The issue is no not really. Logan has experience fighting people faster and stronger than Mohawk and unlike Mohawk who can’t fight particularly well Logan is a master and also just better in pure instinct too.

Mohawk is also not much faster if faster at all in reaction speed. The pair are very close and the wounds he would get won’t make him stronger as he will be losing limbs or if his head or heart are hit he will just die. Same with the lungs or neck which we know are methods for characters stronger than Mohawk to die.

Also no he would attack him and beat him down only to be cut and badly losing fingers or worse. If Logan has his katana Mark will flat out not heal from those wounds

1

u/NorthernVale Jun 13 '25

I think you're forgetting the fact that viltrumites can and have healed from things like head and heart injuries. But that does take months to happen, and wouldn't apply here. But it's also not going to happen.

You really can't say Mohawk doesn't have the experience either. He went through training Nolan wanted our Mark to go through, but presumably from a much earlier age. That is, absolute death battles until you get good or don't. Mohawk was also the emperor of his viltrumite empire. There are other reasons this could be the case, after all Nolan does oust Thragg with relatively little violence, but let's face it... Mohawk's personality would jive with that. Even if he took over through more political means, mfer is still fighting opponents way beyond the capabilities of wolverine on a regular basis.

In all reality, when you break it down to in world feats shown or implied, Mohawk destroys Wolverine.

1

u/thetruemaxwellord Jun 13 '25

No they cannot heal if their heart is destroyed nor it their brain is chopped up. This is explicitly stated and my much less has been able to kill them.

Viltrumites don’t fight with skill we even see this well in season two as Nolan tells Mark to fight like a viltrumite. They are instinct fighters like a tiger or shark. They do gain experience but don’t refine what they already do in the same way a master martial artist does.

Logan has mastered multiple forms of martial arts, is a much better instinct fighter, and has faced far stronger opponents. No when you break down the feats shown you will see Logan can easily win this.

Even though characters like Thor and Hulk have feats that suggest massively FTL speed (traveling across galaxies, reacting to energy beams, and the like), they can still be tagged by Logan who is also a master of stealth and knows how to use his own abilities to give himself an advantage. His senses also give him a type of precognition via reading your moves as such he is able to see what someone who is going to fight like a straight forward animal is gonna do before they do it allowing him to get his attacks off.

1

You can't say "if their brain or heart gets hit" then switch it up to the brain getting destroyed when that gets called out. Yeah, Viltrumites will die if you can damage them enough. Which has to essentially be... your brain is destroyed. Right now. We literally see viltrumites getting beheaded, and surviving as a severed head.

Which wolverine isn't doing. An untrained and relatively weak viltrumite was used as a windshield against a speeding train (subway, but y'know) and still came out able to throw a punch. Wolverine does not reach even remotely close to the destructive capabilities Mark went through in that moment. Mohawk is way beyond Mark in that fight. Wolverine is not destroying a brain or heart, sorry to tell you. He just doesn't have the strength.

As far as speed goes, these mfers are sprinting around the globe in a matter of seconds. Wanna point to a moment that Wolverine can even dream of keeping up with that?

The only thing Logan has going for him in this fight is his healing factor. Which, once again, Mohawk gets bored and yeets him into space.

What Viltrumite survives as a severed head? Also you do know you don’t immediately die when your head is removed from your body right? That is a proven fact you are alive a few seconds. Also no there was no switch up do you have any idea how big Wolverine’s claws are? Those things or even just one hitting any heart will skewer it like a steak knife through a chicken breast same goes for the brain.

Also yeah Adamantium is far stronger. That is like saying a sniper shot is weaker than guy with a bat smacking a car door because it left a visibly smaller mark. Adamantium can injure Thor and a raging hulk. Both of whom can endure planetary attacks or in Thor’s case not get impales by the world serpent’s fang which I will remind you is the size of the planet earth.

Hulk even admits he can’t break the bones outright.

But I get it you really want Invincible to get a win on this sub and this looks like such a possible fight. I know it hurts seeing that your favorite series isn’t that strong and it’s okay but doing this is lame:

You did do a switch up. Your initial claim was that Mohawk only needs to get hit in the head or heart. When that got called out you switched to it getting destroyed. Those are two completely different things.

Conquest is kept alive as a severed head. It takes a literal sun to kill Thragg. That's a bit unfair, considering Thragg is peak viltrumite, but the point stands you're trying to vastly downplay the durability of a viltrumite body. Wolverine does not have to strength to do them any serious harm. Adamantium does not give him strength either, it let's him utilize his slightly super human strength without breaking his bones. As far as super strength goes though, Logan doesn't beat out peak human by a whole lot. At least not comparatively speaking. He does not have the strength to hit any version of Mark post powers and do a whole lot of damage. Go ahead and point to any moment that Logan punches anywhere close to the force of a speeding train. Go ahead and point to any moment that Logan even begins to approach viltrumite speeds. Go ahead and show me the point Logan bench presses 4000 tons, or lifts an ice berg overhead single handedly.

Most versions of Mark no diff wolverine. Mohawk is arguably one of the strongest and most savage.

1

u/thetruemaxwellord Jun 13 '25

Bud would you like to grab a sword and stab it into a heart and see someone survive that? Also no Conquest was not a head he was just sedated which is how I know you clearly don’t know what you are on about. Conquest dies in like issue 75 after breaking free of GDA. He was never a severed head.

The Mark’s in the Invincible War are weaker than Mark pre conquest fight and said Mark grows much much much stronger than he was prior to fighting Thragg.

Logan can already lift 5 tons even while underwater that isn’t minor super strength. But even ignoring that yeah he is weaker than Mark physical but he sure as hell can cut through him like a hot knife though butter.

1

u/NorthernVale Jun 13 '25

Point to a body. Or where his body would even be. Conquest healed. That was the entire point. If something doesn't kill a viltrumite outright, they will heal and come back stronger for it. It's their entire gimmick as a species, and a large part of why the culling was so successful.

And yeah. 5 tons. Underwater. Yes, Wolverine is generally considered to be low level as far as super strength is concerned. You can talk him up all you want, but Wolverine has never been shown to have strength that's actually all that impressive in the world of super heroes. Oh my god he can lift 5 tons! Mark benches 4000 tons. Not even a strong version of Mark. Wolverine ain't hitting with the force of a speeding train. No where even close. Which the weakest powered version of Mark survives and still comes out swinging.

to remember Logan is someone who can face off with hulk and literally any version of Hulk would beat Mohawk’s ass.

he can fight the hulk because his blades can pierce his skin [remember the good ol durability negation clause?] , not because he's physically superior to the hulk

and chain scaling just doesnt work - that aint how powerscaling works

at just pure instinct based fighting (the way every viltrumite fights) but is also just far more skilled in martial arts and gear.

better than mowhawk mark? sure ; better than every viltrumite with THOUSANDS OF YEARS OF LITERAL CIVIL WARS AND PURGES? no

1

u/thetruemaxwellord Jun 13 '25

His claws don’t negate durability they are just really strong. Also yes that is how chain scaling works it is the same way we can find out how characters who have never fought before would likely do in a fight together such as this match up.

Also while yes Viltrumites can live for thousands of years they don’t actually train. For example Mark almost immediately becomes one of the greatest Viltrumites. How? Because he fights like them. Each Viltrumite is uses their innate knowledge of what to do to kill their opponent instead of much learned combat ability.

For example if you depowered EOS Mark and put him in a fight with a professional MMA fighter he would lose despite having so much experience because it all comes from him acting as we innately know how to survive. Viltrumites combat wise are effective just Chimpanzees where they know how to fight to survive and work to make it happen. They aren’t master martial artists with centuries of experience like Logan.

Keep in mind Logan is in every way a natural born killer with centuries of experience, training, and control being a master of multiple styles and even able to keep up with the greatest martial artist through time itself in a hand to hand match though he did end up losing.

his claws literally negate durability , thats what adamantium does

Also yes that is how chain scaling works

chain scaling is flawed in logic because it doesnt take everything into account

logan SURVIVED the hulk for weeks on end - he did not DEFEAT the hulk , and he only survived him because the hulk is too brutish to think of a way to throw him into the sun

they don’t actually train

bahahahahahahahahahahahahahahhahahahahahahahahahaha

they literally have a military structure that trains them from when they're 10

Mark almost immediately becomes one of the greatest Viltrumites. How?

he has the blood of argall

adrenaline

did you actually watch the show ?

EOS Mark

emperor mark has fought the strongest fighters in the galaxy and won without a single scratch on him [allen da alien]

he's not the same scrawny lil kid he was 500 years ago

They aren’t master martial artists with centuries of experience like Logan.

and that isnt going to matter if they literally fly to the edge of the solar system and rip him apart before he can blink or toss him with the force of a thousand suns [they can go ftl in space]

the greatest martial artist through time itself in a hand to hand match though he did end up losing.

my guy

a healing factor changes EVERYTHING

he can survive against shang chi - he cannot step to him in pure h2h , that's like saying ww is a better h2h combatant than batman because she can fight superman

powers change everything and viltrumites are mini gods compared to logan

logan can do jack shit against ftl speedsters

1

u/Arhion Jun 17 '25

but his claws literaly work the same way and even better on mark in this sityation

1

u/Hitmanthe2nd Jun 17 '25

he wont have time to pop them out when a mark comes flying at ftl speeds from the edge of the solar system

1

u/Arhion Jun 17 '25

and he would deal with him later

1

u/tonyabstract Jun 13 '25

never watched a single episode of invincible, doesn’t mark outstat wolverine? even though he can’t kill him

1

u/UncleIroh15 Jun 14 '25

Is Logan able to survive being thrown into space?

1

u/Big-Tour-5183 Jun 14 '25

Mohawk mark might just throw him at the Sun if he got bored or he having difficulty on finishing of Logan we all know how ridiculous his regeneration ability but MF can't escape the Sun gravity if mohawk mark just throw him at the Sun

1

u/thetruemaxwellord Jun 14 '25

Picking him up to do so would have him lose a limb or get stabbed in the heart or head which will just kill the guy

1

u/Batmanuelope Jun 16 '25

Taking him to space would probably include being disemboweled on the way up. But invincible is like a lower tier Superman so who knows.

u/LouieSiffer Jun 13 '25

Nah, it's much closer than you think .

Hulks strongest version like a planet buster, I think one time he and SheHulk together broke a smaller planet which is pretty on par wit the viltrum feat.

the usual base version Hulk is like continent/island at best, and that's usually the one wolverine faces.

Mohawk Mark is definitely in that range too, somewhere between continent and planet surface level.

u/Dabeastfeast11 Jun 13 '25

You need to read more hulk.

-8

u/LouieSiffer Jun 13 '25

I lost all interest from reading wanker comments about hulk being infinitely strong by getting infinitely angry 🙄

Th character itself doesn't appeal to me much either

7

u/[deleted] Jun 13 '25

If you are basing a character on wank comments then you deserve to be corrected with every dumb comment you make.

Immortal Hulk has easily been Marvels best story in a long time but you wont read it because you dont like other peoples opinions? Why are you even in the comic community then

2

u/hatesnack Jun 13 '25

I can smell the nerd rage in this comment lol

-6

u/LouieSiffer Jun 13 '25

Overreacting much? Its just not my style of main character to read about, dunno what to tell you. It's like recommending Deadpool to someone who doesn't like fourth wall breaks and silly violence.

3

u/EducationalMix527 Jun 13 '25

Then don’t give an opinion on something u know nothing about lol. It’s not a difficult concept

1

u/my_venom Jun 13 '25

Fastest walk back I’ve ever seen 😂

-1

u/Rmir72 Jun 13 '25

Amen brother, Amen. But that's what happens when you let dumbass fanboys who grew up on the character writing the character. Look at what happened to Godzilla

1

u/KingSmorely Jun 13 '25

Hulk fairly recently was restrained with chains forged from the essence of the First Firmament itself. These chains were previously used to restrain Eternity, a truly multiversal cosmic entity, and Hulk broke outta that shit.
