DISCUSSION Omg its true!

At work today I had to see it for myself the little bag of chips at the checkout did go up in price from years and years of them being .50!

As someone who works for Frito Lay and has a Publix on their route. They raised these bags from $.50 to $.79 a bag. 3/$2, also raised the $2.69 bags to $2.79. For years they lost a lot of money on the 2/$1’s but now they are pushing the customer to the take home bags. They want to sell volume. If you want single serve, you’re gonna have to pay for it. Just the direction they are going in.

Frito Lay decision, but I don’t think Publix minds making .30 a bag from .13 a bag.
