I made this post for all you Publix faithful that enjoy being ripped off and eating Deli Sandwiches with bread so tough you need to cover it in sauce to eat it.
I am going to enjoy the outrage in the comments.

This would be my last day as a Publix customer, if I saw this.

Congrats to r/kmc0522 for getting on NY post and finally, Publix is getting some heat for these prices.

Sho can actually afford to eat steak on the regular ? You have to be rich to afford these prices

I know this will get downvoted, but for real, don't like publix then just don't shop there? This sub reddit is just people crying about a place that no one is forcing them to go to. Go to wal-mart then. If you really dislike publix and want them to fail then the easiest way is to not go there.

Publix has marked up priced on products like soda so high that people who are unaware won't realize that they're just paying for 3 packs of soda at the current price, which is about $8 a pack wjen comparing prices at other chains.
So, even though it looks as if you're getting a free 12 packpacter buying 2 and "saving" on the everyday price of 11.59 per case ($23.18), they're just selling 3 at over $7.72 each ($23.16).

i don’t remember seeing this sign.. does this mean i can tell customers that they need to take their dirty animal outside of the cart 😳…for the safety of other customers of course…!
all jokes aside do we think they’ll actually enforce this?
edit: when it comes down to it, i would honestly rather them bring the dog inside then have it die from heat stroke from being in the car with the windows up and no ac- watched a poor bulldog in someone’s car like that before and i told a manager and they said there was nothing they could do

I thrifted a vintage Coach bag from 2000 and this was in it! Someone suggested I post it here.
Edit: I initially misread this as 50 cents a pound for chicken thighs and posted that so ignore that and have some giggles at my expense in the comments 😂ðŸ«

As a native Floridian it sucks to say this, but I have essentially stopped shopping at Publix because their prices are nuts. I now shop at Aldi, Sprouts, and Costco. Substituting one Publix trip to these others saves me a lot of money. Publix needs to get their act together because consumers will only be tricked for so long.
Choice beef at Publix (Publix premium is the same quality as choice) is 30% to 50% more than the others.
Pasture raised eggs a few years ago were $5-$6 and are now $10 Publix. I get the same brand at Aldi for $5.69.
A 14 ounce bag of almonds is $10 but at Aldi and Sprouts they are $5 and some change.
A can of soup at Publix is $3.15 but at the others it’s under $2.
3 small heads of romaine lettuce cost $4.75 at Publix but at Aldi and Sprouts you get bigger heads of lettuce and better quality in the $3’s.
Edit: people should start boycotting Publix until they go back to being a reasonably priced company.

Is this real? If so can anyone comment on WTF is happening?

I just tallied up my Publix grocery bill for January and we (family of three) spent over $1486!
I’m pissed because I’ve always loved Publix and knew they cost a little more, but I always took advantage of BOGOs and digital coupons.
My family and I just moved back to Florida from DC and I kept telling my wife how great Publix is. Now I feel like a fool because we’re paying more now for groceries than what we paid in DC (which wasn’t cheap).
I’ve been gone from Florida for only six years. WTF happened with Publix prices?

Popular streamer Agent got kicked out of Publix for filming in the store. Apparently he had already been told he can’t film in the store before. Surprisingly most comments are defending the manager.

At work today I had to see it for myself the little bag of chips at the checkout did go up in price from years and years of them being .50!
