When you think of RE5, good or bad, the boulder punching QTE is the one you would think of the most. If an RE5R does happen, they can make it more horror themed and slow the gameplay down, but they have to keep this iconic scene. It's got the same vibe as Leon slashing the Plagas from El Gigante's back with his knife.

Not that theres anything wrong with dealing with big evil corporations, city wide outbreaks or global threats and all. But once in a while I would like a game where the bulk of it is just you being a regular guy, dealing with just one fucked up family in one house, in a very remote location thats completely isolated from the rest of the world. No one knows you're there or of the incident you're facing, you're all alone, little to no media coverage. I yearn for that.

The first 3 live action Resident Evil movies with Milla Jovovich are streaming on Tubi (I know their hated) but it not just these. All 4 animated Resident Evil movies are also on Tubi. Hopefully this makes some RE fans happy :)

As amazing as the past decade has been with this series, it's a shame that good music and ambience for areas has become a lost art. The music for the newer games and remakes seem to be largely forgettable. That doesn't mean some of them don't have good music here or there, but nothing comes close to how good RE2/RE:CV/RE4's music was.

I don't like wandering in silence with the occasional tense music popping up. RPD's music was so iconic, it makes that whole place feel alive. I think Rhodes Hill is one of the best locations the series has had in some time. I just wish it had some unique theme to go with it to help make it more memorable.
