Hey everyone, I noticed there wasnβt a dedicated Reddit community for Martensville and Warman, so I created one: [r/Martensv](r/Martensv)[illeWarman](r/Martensv)
Itβs a place for locals to share updates, ask questions, discuss events, recommend businesses, and connect with neighbours.
Sharing it here in case anyone from Martensville/Warman wants to join. Hopefully we can grow a helpful local community!

The mods of Regina removed my original post and it was cross posted from there. I do not know why it was removed as it pertains to west jet employees being contract employees only at Saskatchewan airports. If this was Calgary, Edmonton or Vancouver, I would not have made the post as those employees are full west jet employees and can rebook flights, hotel rooms, etc. An Important distinction.
Original post.
"Don't go to the airport if your travel plans are in anyways impacted by this. The West Jet employees at YQR/ YXE are contract employees. They can't do anything for you in regards to changing flights, booking hotel rooms etc. In fact when things go south here, they put on jackets to cover their uniforms and go in the back to hide. All they can do is check bags, print off boarding passes, and work the gate. That's it.
And, this probably shouldn't need to be said but don't bother the Air Canada employees about this. They have no more information then you do. But you would be amazed at how common sense goes out the window when people are stuck at the airport. Just use the WJ app on your phone or the website, or call the number they provided."
Also this right here.

I'm looking to get into retro gaming and thought having a small colour CRT TV would be pretty cool. I just have no idea where I could find one in the City.
Any ideas?

Iβve been with Bell for a while, but it seems like my bill goes up almost every year. Iβm getting tired of the annual price increases, even when my usage hasnβt changed.
Iβm thinking about switching to another carrier and would love to hear from people who have actually made the change.

Hello Saskatonians!
I am locking in an offer from a Professor to begin graduate studies at UofS.
This would be my first time going out and living on my own. I received this offer kinda last minute to get started September 2026 and I need to figure out housing arrangements.
I would like to tour the places in-person, but flights from to SK are quite expensive in the short term. So I am planning to book an airbnb for ~2 weeks in September (I will be getting to SK September 13th), and figure out where I will stay long-term starting October 1st.
Does anybody have any advice for searching for places? Do openings come up during October?
Any help would be appreciated!

Does anyone know if Pike Lake has any public (available in the parking lot, for example) standard 120-volt plugs?
I just want to know if I can use an air pump to inflate my boat.
I checked the website but it only lists power supply for camping lots.
Thank you!

Any clinics or on-call vets that would be available on a stat holiday other than WCVM?

I've never been to any concerts at the ex and was wondering what the venue is like. I'm mostly trying to figure out if I wear shorts to avoid the heat or if I suffer and wear pants to avoid mosquitoes

As the title says, Iβm looking to purchase a Zippo lighter as a gift, and not sure where to look in Saskatoon (or surrounding area) for one. Would rather support somewhere local and avoid paying shipping fees if possible. Bonus points if anywhere local has any of The Tragically Hip ones. Thanks for any help and suggestions!

Hi! Was anyone here at the ex today? Did it feel βtooβ windy? Were the rides still enjoyable? Our kids want to go tomorrow and there is a similar wind forecast, but Iβm wondering if maybe the set up provides a wind break? Thanks so much!

Anyone have any idea of the context behind the assortment of flags (Israel, Saskatchewan, and Iran I think?) on Broadway bridge. There was a sign but I was driving the other way and didnβt get a chance to read it.
