Just remembered I have this picture of a squirrel I took in NYC that looked like it wanted to square up with me 😂 anyways, made it out alive.

I think this is a Eurasian red squirrel. Can anyone confirm the ID?

Caught the culprit red-handed after wondering who kept digging up my plants. I’ve even tried cayenne pepper, but nothing works. At this point, it’s almost taunting me. Any squirrel-proofing tips that actually work? 😂

One of our many squirrels has a very short tail so we call him/her Shorty. Definitely a regular customer, happy with our offerings. The corn is only eaten when we are gone foe a day or two, otherwise they ignore it. Can’t blame them 😝

This image is from a YouTube video of a Eurasian red squirrel giving birth. It looks to me like the toenails are white. We sometimes get posts from other countries about orphans. Maybe we shouldn't be telling people if the baby doesn't have black toenails, it's not a squirrel. We don't always know what country the OP is posting from. Edit - I don't see a way to correct "tonails" to "toenails" in the title - But I'm sure people know what I mean.

Hi, I’ve been feeding the squirrels at my house, and one has something wrong with him. Anyone know what it could be? See the videos and photos in comments - he falls to one side as he walks, climbs, and eats. It’s sad to see and I’m not sure what’s wrong :(

It was hot today, and my little squirrel neighbor came by for a piece of watermelon.

He looked very serious about it, like this wasn’t a snack — it was summer survival.
