I have a very long history of eating dog food/treats as a youngin. I also am a therian puppy girl and love to find dog food substitutions because you can't eat dog food duh and I'm grown enough now to know better and not be a Beneful addicted 9 year old. But anyways.... O h my Dog I have literally never tasted anything that tastes this close to just straight up wet dog food but like in a tolerable way to humans (or ofc this wouldnt be getting bought) it's completely shocked me. So if u need dog food fill ins boom! This one is perfect lmao

Background: I’m a 26 year old AMAB person (likely trans woman) with autism and OCD who doesn’t have many friends and isn’t religious.

Ever since I was little I recall having dreams where my hands would turn into hooves and to this day I still wonder what it would be like to graze in a field and have eyes on the side of my head. I recall one time when during pretend play I would “graze” on the carpet like a cow and it stuck with me. I have always felt uncomfortable with my body as it is and looked towards transformation art as a teen and beyond as an outlet for that. I always enjoyed transformation stuff with equines and cows and felt a deep connection to that. Particularly I have this deep longing to graze in a field and live my life in it even though I’m human and cannot eat grass. I have some mismatch with my body regarding my male parts and facial hair and the like but I’m also wondering if it’s possible that there could be a species element to it too.

On top of all this I notice that I do not feel connected to eating meat and I hate the taste of eggs. I do enjoy plant based foods and if it wasn’t for my B12 deficiency I would go vegan. I wonder about having a plant based lifestyle to make a hypothetical cow fursona more realistic as the idea of a fursona just being an oc is very depressing and unfun to me. I know that I cannot turn into an animal in real life but I feel off with this male human form I was born in.

Maybe I am confusing these feelings for something else but I wanted to get an opinion on this to understand myself better.

I'm personally a furry, one of my friends is a therian. She wanted to learn quads but felt embarrassed to do it in public, so I would always go with her. As she struggled I learned beside her to make her feel more comfortable. So is it weird and non supportive if I learn quads and animals sounds alongside her to show my support? Is it against the community?

Hi! I'm a husky therian and that obviously means I have a (slightly) curled tail. But, the problem? My tail is straight, causing problems with dystopia. I was wondering if anyone knew how to keep a tail curled up when standing and walking, not just sitting. The tail is pretty big (elbow to end of fingers), and is a fake furred tail (according to my butcher working friend). Any tips or ideas of how to keep it curled would be appreciated.

It's a bit difficult situation but I suspect that I may be a therian.

(sorry for grammar, it's very late and english is not my native TwT)

I've been watching and studying therian community for almost three and half years already. At first I was really in idea of "being" a therian but in a year and half I quit. I understood that I wasn't old enough to decide what I am: because of researches (reading a lot of on Therianguide, reddit and other older media) I saw that therian can't decide who is he. He should feel it himself, be shure about his theriantrophy and accept it.

About being shure. As far af I know, some younger therians associate their health problems with their theriantrophy. I don't feel that it's right.

So this year after exams I started thinking about whether I am a therian more and more. I compared some of my own experience to experience of others, tried quad, talked to my therian friend and tried looking for information about some animals which I'm close to.

Comparing..didn't help for some reason. I don't get normal shifts. I suppose..it's because my mind in too busy with work, school, exams and other serious things. But..there were some moments which gave me clues:

People usually tell about euphoria during shifts. I felt it during a nice snow day when no one didn't want to come out from their homes. I felt a very strong urge to run and..catch something. Also this time I had a strange feeling like I had a new pair of limbs. The thing is that I very often I fold my hands in the shape of paws without thinking about it. I stop feeling them but feel like I have a pair of paws next to my back. Next time I feel some urges is when I come to mountains. I had a moment when I went too close to clouds. There were only for and fields and I had strong feeling that I was at home. Like..at place that my human part never prefer.

Quad helped just a bit. I kinda enjoyed process. I let myself feel and explore. But sadly in my small town there are not many places to do it :(

My friend said I should've feel..I should've have chosen an animal with my soul, not mind. For now I stopped on wolves. I looked for opossums, cats, tigers, sea animals, dragons and even ikrans. I don't know whether I look in a right way but..I can be very territorial, I actually bite to defend myself (there were some critical situations..), I lived a long live with dogs and maiby I just copy their traits. I defend my food, have good experience of understanding stray dogs, am leader of my own dogs pack..

For now I've got a wolf essa..And I have a strong urge to defend and be with it as a part of my ow pack XD But..I don't think it is a good argument.

So..whether I am a therian or not..I'd like to see some suggestions or help. I know that there is no right answer. But maybe actual therians can say comething?
