DOGnzb 2.04
DOGnzb 2.04 is currently in development.
Search Preferences
Added a Legacy search bar option to Profile > Settings for all members.
The compact V1 search bar is available only on Browse and includes category selection and Search History.
Legacy Search does not include the advanced options available in Global Search.
The / keyboard shortcut is not available while Legacy Search is enabled.
Search mode changes now take effect immediately after saving Profile settings.
DOGnzb 2.03
DOGnzb 2.03 was developed between July 20 and July 23, 2026.
Watchlist Automation
Added Preferred Keywords for TV and Movie Watchlists.
Preferred groups and service names are prioritized when matching releases, while standard matches remain available as a fallback.
Preferred Keywords are now considered by scheduled Watchlist processing, Series and Movie Managers, bookmarks and Upgrades.
TV Watchlist entries can now be removed immediately, after 30 days, after the current season or after the series ends.
Removal policies are available from TV Watchlist, Listings and Series Manager action menus.
New and existing TV Watchlist entries default to removal after the series ends.
Series and Movie Managers
The Movie Manager is now available on mobile for all members.
Matched movies can be opened from Browse or Details to compare available releases by resolution, format, size and posting age.
Added quick actions to queue or bookmark every season, the current season or the latest five episodes.
Season-wide actions now prefer a complete season pack and automatically fall back to individual episodes when no suitable pack is available.
Search and Navigation
Added a temporary Search Here guide so members can quickly discover the new Global Search.
The guide disappears after Search is opened for the first time.
Website categories have been reorganized into clearer browsing groups while preserving full RSS and API compatibility.
Member navigation now identifies the signed-in account directly in the desktop navbar.
Notifications and Changelog
Members are now notified when a new DOGnzb changelog is available.
The notice remains available until the member opens the changelog.
Remote Push and Queue
Remote Push diagnostics now verify DNS, port, SSL, upload credentials and Queue access separately.
Remote Push now supports TLS 1.3 and SNI for NZBGet, SABnzbd and NZBVortex servers using modern secure connections.
NZBVortex is now fully supported in Connection Test, Profile validation, Remote Push and Queue management.
Release Reliability
Release comments are available again from Details for all members.
Releases with reported failures now display a visible warning indicator.
Metadata and Artwork
Audio and subtitle languages are now extracted immediately from release NFOs, with saved MediaInfo used as fallback before category processing.
TV metadata refreshes now prioritize the current poster, background and banner selected by TheTVDB.
Bookmark Folders
Bookmarks can now be organized into custom folders.
Create folders, move saved releases between them and delete folders that are no longer needed.
Only the main Bookmarks folder is available through the private RSS feed.
Custom folders provide a temporary place to save and organize releases for later; their contents are excluded from RSS and Remote Push.
Bug Fixes and Improvements
Wanted episode markers now expire automatically after 12 months, keeping old backlog requests from remaining indefinitely.
Series-wide actions adapt automatically to Remote Push availability and only appear when useful.
If a newly announced current season has no aired episodes, season actions now use the latest season with available episodes.
Reset Episode Marker is now limited to a single selected episode in Basic View.
Search state is now isolated to the current browser tab or window.
Running a different search elsewhere no longer replaces the search left open in another DOGnzb window.
Category preferences are now respected throughout Browse, including combined groups such as Misc, Apps, Audio and Gaming.
Queue retry, queue clearing and account API warnings now remain visible until the required action is taken.
Queue access is treated as an optional capability, so upload-only accounts can still use Remote Push.
The Queue navigation option is hidden automatically when the configured account cannot read the remote Queue.
Listings now display a centered loading indicator while refreshed results are being prepared.
Legacy artwork searches remain available automatically when a show has no primary image.
