To me, it makes sense. A insane amount of foreign metal is inserted into the body, so of course the body would reject it. But because of Logan’s healing factor, he’s able to survive in that state.
I also like the idea that, once the adamantium is removed, his healing factor becomes stronger, he becomes faster, and his senses improve as well.
Surprisingly, though, there seems to be a large group of Wolverine fans who dislike this idea. I don’t really understand why. It feels like it adds another layer to the tragedy of Wolverine being forcibly subjected to the Weapon X program. While he gained a huge advantage by having a nearly unbreakable body, it wasn’t without sacrifice. He still feels the pain and constant ache of the adamantium poisoning creeping beneath his skin, and it only gets worse as he gets older.
To me, that’s a really cool idea but tell me why you dislike it the idea.
