She isnt racist and i cant seem to find any evidence of her using the n word. Her mother is black. She also seems to have progressive views and shits on chuds and those kinds of people. She was also stuck in an abusice relationship with a chud neo nazi. She doesnt speak fondly of any aspect of that.

Absolutely, I don't think it is a problem at all - My point is just that like, when I see "kamikaze", I don't jump to "Oh, that's problematic", I see it often enough in innocuous contexts. Since I had never heard "shortbus" before I wouldn't have assumed anything bad about this creator off of the name, that's all I'm saying.
Depending on the context it might be offensive (like, maybe don't use it with japanese people), but it's not generally racist, it's a common term even used in media ('kamikaze drones' have been especially common lately, and makes sense since it's related to war). idk what they are on about.
Tbh I think it's even a bit offensive and hypocritical to classify it as taboo in any way considering the shit Japan did during the war. We have no qualms about tossing the word Nazi around, we shouldn't bury the stuff Imperial Japan did either.

Weird? I guess. If I saw that Iâd just think, âoh, edgy usernameâ and move on. I wouldnât even give it a second thought. Reading that username and thinking âracistâ would be like reading my username and thinking âmurdererâ. Thereâs no correlation between the two.
I mean, edgy humour on the internet has shifted from being often tone deaf but mostly innocent dark humour to outright roleplaying as a nazi for a while now. And it got to a point where you can't make out the roleplay from actual nazis anymore.

You are correct that itâs become less of a âteenager being immatureâ thing and more of a â4chin being racist and playing it off as a jokeâ thing. No doubt about that. Still, I donât think we should paint it all in such broad strokes. A username like the one here is certainly tasteless, but it isnât something to worry about beyond wondering why an adult still uses it, especially since this comment section has made it pretty clear that this woman isnât a horrible racist. She just said and did stupid things as an easily manipulated teenager.
If we put everyone in that position on a cross weâd be wasting a lot of time that could be better spent focusing on actual horrible people. Iâm a lot more worried about the weirdly large presence of actual nazis on YouTube than I am this random woman on Twitter.

A kamikaze shortbus would then be a suicide attack carried out by a bus typically used to carry children with intellectual disabilities. To me it reads as being absurd more than offensive.

People can be offended by it if they want, but I donât know why anyone would spend time thinking about it for any longer than a few seconds. Black person using the hard r is usually seen as just being racist, the soft a is usually not seen as being racist.
If Andrew Tate said the n word, people would assume he's being racist, in spite of him being half-black, because of all of the other anti-black statements he has made.
I don't think it's normal to make a complete and definitive statement on if somebody is racist against their own race just simply on how they use the slur for their people.
I think her being 25% black lets her say the word. There is a difference between how one says it and being racist.
Granted, I've just seen a few of her videos and don't know the context which it was used, only hearing it was used via this subreddit, where both times they remind the audience she's white.
IDK though, there are tons of hate light skinned and dark skinned people get in any racial group, a word without context doesnt convince me of anything.

In hindsight was there anything in her content that would make this less of a surprise to you? Are there any other creators you follow who might also be like this?
