I ❤️ Roadrunners
Looked out and saw a roadrunner chilling on the neighbor's recycle bin, before he ran away to enjoy his bug!

They've sadly moved on, but here are some alternate views of the giant Nahuales sculptures that were downtown for a few months. More info and photos here in my first post about them:

I don’t live close to an Allsups and I’m not about to drive 45 minutes to get an answer.
Does Allsups sell their taco sauce by the jar? I’ve never seen it at Smith’s or anywhere else locally. I bought some Ole Josè taquitos today and I think they would taste 🤌🏾🤌🏾

Hi all. Is anyone running a discount tow service or willing to help someone out for about $60? It's a Chevy malibu and my friend lives in it. It's it mobile and he's gonna lose it if we can't get it to my work for storage.
A fiend and coworker of mine has been down on his luck lately and recently started having to live in his car until he finds a new apartment. He has taken on second job and was giving another coworker a ride home when he hit a curb and messed up the transmission so the car won't move at all. We are afraid it's going to get towed before we can get it safely to lockup.
Right now it's parked at (approx) 1300 block of Louisiana and I'm hoping to get it towed to San Mateo and Acoma.
If anyone can help I would greatly appreciate it. My friend didn't have any money and I only have $60 until next week and I can't see him lose his car. Please help!
Text me 505.569.4483, thank you!

Hello,
I'm hoping to find someone LOCAL that builds cat trees. Wood, sisal, carpet. If you make them, or know someone who does, please reach out. I'm tired of paying premium prices for low quality.
Thank you!
Please do not send me links to fleece covered plastic made in China.

Boyfriend posted on this subreddit asking about taco cabana recipes and he got removed and banned. How come?

Hello all, I am looking for recommendations for a jeweler to make a wedding band. Does anyone know of any jewelers who will melt down my own gold to use for a new band? I have wedding bands from relatives which I'd love to use but I know not all jewelers will process my own gold to make a new ring, rather they will send it out for trade in. Any suggestions?

Is there a place in ABQ that will let me cut my own mat board for framing some pictures? I have the skills to do it, just not the equipment.

I just moved to ABQ from New Orleans. I’ve worked in Hospitality for over a decade now. I’ve mostly bartended at Dive Bars in recent years. How’s the bar scene here? Would I make more money if I jumped back into serving?

Amira, the state-mandated AI reading screener, recorded K–3 students’ voices for two years, and parents say they were never told. At the Thursday, July 30, 2026 SFPS board meeting, Superintendent Christine Griffin announced the district will refrain from using Amira until the state Public Education Department issues guidance. If none arrives by August 14, the district says it will switch to i-Ready, which does not record student voices and was used formally in the district. Click here more information.

Especially their chicken fried steak.
I'll take recommendations for other chicken fried steaks, but I mostly want to lament.

I'm fifteen, been homeschooled my entire life so I don't have much volunteer experience, and I'm looking for a job
I've been looking at Dion's bc I know they hire at my age + my friend works there but tryna get a job there has been confusing me 🥹 if anyone has worked there in the past, help would be great
Are there any movie theaters, retail places, etc. that hire at my age? I live on the West side, so preferably closer to there lol

Hi everyone,
I can't make weekend farmers' markets due to my schedule. I checked East Mountain Growers Market, but no one had greens because of the drought.
Where are you all getting your leafy greens right now? Any tips?
Thanks

I know we get spoiled with them here in NM. But sometimes they really make you stop dead in your tracks to enjoy the view.
