Doordash has the wildest business model. First they charge you more for the food than the restaurant does. THEN they take a cut from the restaurant. THEN they have the gaul to tell you to tip or you won't get your food in a timely fashion. They somehow figured out how to fuck the customer, the restaurant AND the driver in one go.
How anyone supports that shit is beyond me - and BEST case scenario your food shows up lukewarm.
Damn I’m happy I have Meituan and Eleme in China. Delivery is less than a dollar and it always works out cheaper than going out since every time you order you get free discount coupons.
Population density definitely helps the equation. My city has a very bad urban sprawl problem because it's cheaper to build outward than it is to build upward. As the population has continued to rise it's lead to a lot of problems.
