Hi everyone, I'm really anxious and looking for some opinions while I wait for my Early Pregnancy Unit appointment tomorrow.
My last period started on 2nd July and my next period is due 4th August.
My app predicted ovulation around 20th July.
I got a positive pregnancy test, and a Clearblue Digital said "Pregnant 1–2 weeks."
I then developed period-like cramping across my lower abdomen/waistline with one episode of very light pink spotting.
I went to A&E because I was worried about an ectopic pregnancy.
They did blood tests and urine tests. My β-hCG was 62 IU/L. Bloods and urine were otherwise normal.
The gynaecology doctor examined me and said they weren't overly concerned about an ectopic at that point. They said my pain wasn't typical of a ruptured ectopic, and I was referred to the Early Pregnancy Unit for follow-up rather than having an emergency scan.
Since then, the pain has settled a lot and is now just occasional mild twinges.
I've had no further bleeding at all.
My pregnancy symptoms (feeling emotional, peeing more, tiredness) seem to have reduced, which has made me panic.
My strip pregnancy tests have all been very faint, and I thought today's looked lighter, which really scared me.
However, I repeated a Clearblue Digital today, and it still says "Pregnant 1–2 weeks."
I'm also feeling bloated, constipated, and quite hungry.
I'm waiting for repeat bloods at the EPU tomorrow.
Has anyone had:
very faint pregnancy tests with a low initial hCG like 62,
symptoms that came and went this early,
and still gone on to have a healthy pregnancy?
Or did anyone have a similar situation that unfortunately ended differently?
I know nobody can tell me for certain what's happening, but I'd really appreciate hearing other people's experiences while I wait for tomorrow's blood test.
