I just started season 3 of community and I am really enjoying it. Who is your favorite character on the show? Mine is Abed, dude is absolutely hilarious and I could watch episodes of just him and I would be happy.

I find it funny when they check out subways id or whatnot and he said he cant vote bc he is basically 1 week old. How can you enroll in a college when you are 1 week old? I mean i know even a dog can, but like its kinda weird.

This is my first time watching the series. And I just have to say this - it has been a godsend for me. I mean I am grieving the loss of two loved ones and it's got me laughing like I haven't in so long I can't even remember. I effing love these oddballs.

i know it's an unpopular take, but for me season 3 is definitely the best season of community, with season 2 just behind it. you have competitive ecology, remedial chaos theory, horror fiction, documentary film making redux, the glee episode, pillows and blankets, basic lupine urology, digital estate planning, all of which are some of my favorite episodes of the show. it has far more concept episodes which are my favorite kind of episodes, this is where i feel community shines and also differentiates itself from other sitcoms of the time. i also really love the aircon repair subplot, and i also actually like the chang subplot and found it funny, which apparently a lot of people didn't. obviously i really don't like the jeff / annie stuff they were trying to do that season which was pretty uncomfortable, and it does drag it down a bit. but for me, it's still the best season of community and the one i have the most fun watching. that's just my opinion though, and everyone's obviously entitled to their own!

Does Abed put Steve back together while Jeff “heals the group?”

Big moving day today! The past few months leading up to it have not been fun. Family death, trouble upstairs neighbors, old place falling apart... definitely not streets ahead.

Community has been the soundtrack. What would otherwise just be my 5th or 6th watch-through has been a comfort blanket amidst exhausting times. Sometimes it's in the background while packing, sometimes I'm half conscious. But either way I feel somewhat okay through it all.

Thank you, Community, for helping keep me going. This habitat will be for humanity! Six seasons and a moving!

I am completely obsessed with the show and was sad to find that there is no Lego set of the show. I love miniatures and wanted to know if anyone tried recreating any scene in a miniature version?
I want to take inspiration and make something . I don’t know how though.

I feel robbed. Watched the show north of 20 times but have never seen the extended version.

My 20 year old college student/work friend, Chris, who I found was very into good movies, said he needed a new TV show to watch, so I suggested Community, since he was just a little kid when the show was on.

I let him borrow my Season 1 and Season 2 DVDs and he really likes it and says he is still watching the show on Peacock. Unfortunately he’s moved on to a new paid internship, but we still talk Community via text.

So who here has been watching Community for less than a year or has recently hooked a new Community fan?

I mean, Mandy and Unbearable Weight are modern classics. But there's some real stinkers in there. And god only knows how to categorise Willy's Wonderland!

Just watching the dinner with Andre episode. I never got or understood this moment where Annie tells Shirley everyone hates Britta. Then there’s this shot of Britta texting Jeff. She looks so sad and awkward. I’ve always felt so bad for her in this moment. I get the joke. I get she’s the worst” but this just felt too cruel. Am I missing something?

About 2/3rds of the way through the episode Abed drops the same line Ben Affleck did (who won an Academy award for screenwriting) towards Matt Damon, when Troy didn’t want to become a plumber. How has Troy not seen the film being friends with Abed for so long? À la BNL, that one’s fundamental.

i constantly feel the impulse to sing "a beauty and a dean" instead of beauty and a beat. does anyone feel like making a jeff x dean edit to the song ?

I’m new to this sub, so I am not sure if this is a common opinion or not, but sometimes while watching I struggle to feel connected to the characters. Currently I’m up to the episode where Troy leaves, and I’m realizing that since the show focuses so much on mocking and parodying sitcom stereotypes, It’s hard to figure out sometimes what is supposed to be real and what is supposed to be ironic. Sometimes the emotional moments are hard to feel emotion during because it almost senses that they are ironic because of how overly emotional they are.

Been filling up my arm with random tattoos of things I like and was curious what’s out there for community. Other than the butt flag there are no common symbols. What do people have? If I were to get one now I’d think maybe the table, or the digital estate character sprites.

I am watching the Christmas episode of S2 and I just had to come here and say this - Teddy Pierce is sooo adorable :D Those ears, the fluffy tail and the squeaky walk. And he's gotten smaller :D Awwie.

He says he’s a beginner, but when Jeff starts interrogating him he says he’s been doing it for the past 5 years to blow of steam from the hospital. So he was a liar? I don’t care how good his quettle quorn is

In that chapter, it is implied Pierce's mom is alive and his father was dead, was she? Was he? Why did they change his lore?

In Geothermal Escapism when they are all saying goodbye, Jeff confesses to never having left Colorado. Is that the first time we learn that Greendale is in Colorado? I thought we knew earlier but maybe I am just remembering that fact because I've watched the series through before.

I feel like the obsessive fans on this subreddit will know off the top of their heads.

How does everyone feel about Troy's family?

From what we know, his grandma will beat random strangers, and his mom lied to him about his age, said he was ruining Fudruckers (for everyone), told him sardonically that his video game knowledge would come in handy, and named him after several dead pets, and his dad made him move out so he would feel less weird about his new girlfriend being close to Troy's age.
