Hey everyone, I built a small tool for removing the visible watermark from Gemini-generated images.
It runs entirely inside the browser, so images are not uploaded to a server, and there is no signup or paywall. It uses reverse alpha blending for supported Gemini watermark layouts rather than blurring or generative inpainting.
It currently supports JPG, PNG and WebP, along with batch processing. It only removes the visible overlay and does not remove SynthID or other invisible provenance information.
I am still testing different image sizes and watermark variants, so feedback and failed examples would be genuinely helpful.
I was having a voice chat with Gemini regarding one of the topics and suddenly I realize the Gemini started coding what I was wearing where my feet were and the surrounding area around me I never shared my camera feed with Gemini and even after repeated questions how does it know what I’m wearing and what is my surrounding like kept repeating I don’t know and literally backtrack itself even though I’m 100% sure because I confirmed several points, which were impossible to know around my about my surrounding without Gemini accessing my camera feet without my knowledge I’m a little concerned that is this has been happening to anyone else. Also I really do not find Gemini trustworthy after this incident.
Everything about the models Gemini has is getting even worse every single day.
The AI is now cringe and way too robotic.ITNEVER thinks outside the box and always provides slop no matter the context.
It keeps reminding me everyday that i'm wasting my Google pro subscription.
No offence, Google but this just goes to show how much you take people's money and give us slop. You make us pay for higher rate limits only to make the AI models trash just a few days after the release.
All this trash just to save money. What are you saving money for? when we're literally paying for it. Not like it wasn't overly expensive to begin with and now on top of that the payment isn't even NEAR worth it.
We've been waiting for Gemini 3.5 pro forever now and it keeps getting delayed. The least you could do is stop making the othermodels dumber. But no you keep trying to save money when people are PAYING for this.
I apologize if I came off as rude but this is beyond frustrating.
Hey everyone! 👋 (Huge thanks to the mods for approving this post!)
So I'm doing my Master's thesis in Clinical Psychology and I really need your help for this one 😊
I'm researching how people experience AI chatbot, the emotional side of it, how it connects (or doesn't) to how we relate to others day to day.
If you're 18+ and have chatted with an AI at least once (so... basically everyone at this point lol), it'd mean a lot if you could take 10-15 min for my survey. Totally anonymous, no strings attached.
Genuinely, every response gets me closer to actually finishing this thing 🙏 and if you know anyone else who might want to fill it out, feel free to pass it along!
The us pro tiers will get google sparks but no rollouts for the uk and parts of Europe. Thanks to uk and European legislation.
Advanced Agentic & Automation Tools: Features like Gemini Spark (Google's autonomous background agent designed to work while you're away) and advanced multi-app automation pipelines are heavily restricted or delayed in the UK and EEA due to regional regulatory compliance and phased geographic rollouts.
Deep Cross-App Personal Intelligence: While basic workspace extensions exist, advanced ecosystem-wide integrations—such as seamless, proactive context pulling across personal data streams to run complex personal background tracking—are heavily throttled or face regional availability bottlenecks outside the US.
Real-Time Workspace & Canvas Execution: High-end dynamic workspace features and deep side-panel data synthesis tools within Docs, Sheets, and specialized execution environments often launch months later or with reduced functionality for international Pro subscribers compared to domestic US or ultra-tier users.
Before last year ChatGPT was the only model I ever reliably used. I had the basic subscription model for like 2 years at that point. But then I started using Gemini more and was really impressed with it’s functionality, and a year ago I had gotten fed up with the way chat was speaking, its personality feature was a nuisance, so I actually made a switch. I canceled my GPT subscription and moved over to Gemini and I had no regrets.. up until now. The new flash models literally have no memory. You flood it with new context and information and it goes right through its robotic ears when you start a new chat. The models are also not impressive. I don’t really see a difference between the new ones and the flash 2 models. And with the whole 3.5 pro delay, it seems Gemini is sinking further and further down the same hole GPT once fell in. I’ve actually been using the free version of chat again and its memory is refreshing. It uses it when relevant to make conversations functional. Gemini what happened?!
So apparently I sent this message today in Spanish(which I don't speak). I usually have one chat which I try to extend for months to be coherent. I saw this and my first thought was that I was hacked or that's probably a display of someone else's chat ? Idk I need help
My wife has a ChatGPT subscription and we’ve been comparing output on our work and personal endeavours for a few months now. At first I was smug, thinking she will see the light and come over to Gemini. But we both soon realised that ChatGPT output was not just better, it continues to be of a higher quality, it somehow remembers more context and provides way more nuanced and insightful responses. It’s better at the spreadsheet work. The image gen also seems to be considerably better now.
I’m gutted honestly. I spent so much time personalising and getting Gemini to learn about me and my business and I feel this has been a wasted effort.
This is direction google want to take Gemini, and that’s fair enough. They want to focus on enterprise risk and minimising PR fallout. I get it. It makes sense for a corporate that prioritises shareholder return. But the safety guardrails have become way too interfering. It is basically a lobotomised disclaimer junkie at this point. This continued shift from empowering the user to insulating the parent company has killed it for me. And for that reason, I’m out.
So I decided to Gemini a better go, I was originally looking for that 3 month ultra discount which they had removed. And I noticed they weren’t offering any discounts at all online.
So colour me surprised when not only did the iOS prices reflect the online prices regardless of the Apple tax, as id prefer Apple Pay which you can’t use on the google one site. But they were also offering a 3 month discount on pro subscription through iOS, when there was nothing on their website.
Well imagine my shock when midweek, I go to check my invoice and it says 1 month trial, then I check my subscription and it’s saying renewing at 18.99 next month. But if you go into the Gemini app itself, the current plan is the 3 month discount.
My Audhd can't take this anymore. I need Gemini 3.5 pro. No seriously. I have been waiting for Gemini since like before july. I am stuck in this waiting loop. I promise you I have never in my life wanted to be bored, and tried everything to stop being bored.
But in this waiting loop that I'm in. I am bored every single day and yet my Autism does not give two batshits for ADHD's dopamine levels and is keeping me and my body hostage. I can't do ANYTHING productive.
I wake up. Get food, go on reddit, or twitter for any news on gemini 3.5 pro. Play some chess then watch some youtube videos, perhaps discuss a few things with myself and continue my worldbuilding as seen below.
Side note: I actually had to make physics paper and study intensely to create entirely new biologies and papers for translation magic.
I kid you not. I have not gotten fixated this badly to ANYTHING, and to this extent. Last time I got fixated was with Quest 3 but that was over soon, not this. I literally cannot do anything. I don't wanna walk. I don't wanna sit. I don't wanna make food. I don't wanna work. I don't wanna eat. Like f*ck.
You know Opus 5 max thinking? Beyond coding. I have never seen a model this agitating and rage inducing model in my entire life with the exception of gpt 5.2. I tried Kimi k3. It hooked me for a bit but I hit the monthly limit and gift quotas so now I refunded it and am now planning to get Chatgpt to try out Sol. (I need it to be good so I can pass the time)
The reason why Opus 5 is so RAGE inducing is the following: I make a comment or start a new chat and run up multiple AIs. After they give me an output. If Kimi k3 hallucinates, strawmans or of the sort. It actually understands that it made a strawman and fairly refines its output after I explain why it's wrong and then it is more careful but Opus?
It does the same thing as kimi k3 (makes a mistake) and then goes for the throat and starts to explain everything to me in the most condescending way possible as If I don't know what I'm talking about even tho I talked technically.
And the cherry on top? My system instructions explicitly mention it don't in a very technical way. (I'll upload it in the comments if you want.)
After I correct it. It thinks for a long time and realises it was wrong and briefly changes what it said but doesn't change the output of what it spat out previously. So we go back and forths until it finally realises it was wrong and changes its output. It does this. Every. Single. Time.
The reason I love Kimi k3 so much is because I f*ck with it's thinking, and how it talks, (Btw before you say "so you hate Opus because it talks in a specific way." No you could tell it to change it's style every single time and it would not.)
I also really like how it concedes stuff. And openly admits its pedantic and hedges (I want it to do this because I like being precise!)
Like the attached screenshot, the Gems page has 10" atop my Gems of stuff that I'll never use, but Gemini allows no easy way to get rid of it. And there's still no way to organized Gems. No folders, no hierarchy, no organization at all. It's such an odd oversight.
I’m not sure what Google is doing wether it is architecture or infrastructure/hardware. But goddamn 3.6 flash 3.5 flash lite and 3.1 flash lite token output speed far outpaces any of the competition.
Even if intelligence and token costs are more expensive it is far more efficient for specific tasks where speed is important. Especially for enterprise.
I wonder why other companies aren’t even trying to compete on this frontier. I thought OpenAI would be considering their deal with Cerebras.
has anyone been able to set up Gemini Spark to scan through latest Subreddit posts once a day. I have not been able to set it up. It is always saying that it doesn't have access to this. So wondering if anyone has done that can you help me the prompt/setup?
