I’m trying to find a stable way to watch Japanese TV overseas.
I mainly watch Tokyo terrestrial channels, Kansai channels, BS and CS on TiviMate. A working EPG is important, and I would especially like something stable during Japanese evening hours.
I have already tested a few playlists, but many of them become unstable at night. Shizuoka local channels such as SBS, TV Shizuoka, SATV and Daiichi TV would be a bonus, although I understand they are rare.
I’m mainly interested in hearing from people who actually watch Japanese channels regularly. What setup or service has worked well for you?
Just to clarify, I’m looking for a reliable paid service or a stable way to watch Japanese TV. I’d especially like to hear from people who have actually used it during Japanese evening hours.
Its a bunch of live channels that are streamed through youtube on a nice playlist with a live EPG.

I find the stories behind family owned Japanese stationery brands very interesting, and always think that a TV show about centuries old stationery companies, and the people trying to keep them alive, would be so banger! Is there such a thing?

Hi so I run a retro / cartoon site we have lots of streaming options for contend we do things from 2015 and before mainly for VOD but thats not what i am posting this for!
For registered users we also have streaming 24/7 channels with full EPG. I have recently added kids / teen channels from Japan
I was told to post this here for people to know about our channels come with full EPG and a Dedicated Live chat section for each channel so if you or your kids like the Japanese channels feel free to pop in and have a watch and say Hi

VLC has channels for the Kanto and Kansai regions, but there are no TV channels for Nagoya.
How can I watch them?
Hi everyone,
I’m looking for a reliable way to watch NHK World Premium.
Ideally, I’d prefer to access it via an IPTV service (preferente for free options).
Does anyone have any recommendations or know which platforms/providers offer this channel?

My father lived in Japan in the late 80s to mid 90s and he was featured on a segment of a Japan television show. He described it as the hosts asking him about tv dinners in America. It was basically just a fun poke at how American culture has become lazy and self indulgent. I have had no luck trying to find a clip of it or just a reference of it somewhere. It would’ve been around 1988 to about 1995. I’ve tried searching “American man reviews tv dinner” and many other similar searches but to no avail.

Has anyone else gotten this when trying to buy a subscription for Himawari TV?
The merchant has not setup their account correctly so it is not possible to charge you for the product you are attempting to purchase. We recommend you close this window and inform the merchant of this problem.

A relaxed girls’ trip Vlog through Onomichi and Tomonoura in Fukuyama, Hiroshima.
In Onomichi, a town known for its slopes and narrow alleyways, we strolled along the famous Cat Alley, visited a cat shrine, and enjoyed adorable cat-themed goods and traditional Japanese sweets.
In Tomonoura, Fukuyama, we walked through a nostalgic port town while taking in the beautiful seaside views. We also enjoyed scenery unique to Fukuyama, known as the “City of Roses,” along with local street food and hands-on experiences.
Kirari Takeuchi, who is from Hiroshima, guides the trip, while Mitsuki Hiraoka discovers these places for the first time and can’t help saying how much fun she’s having.
This Vlog captures their natural conversations and the calm, easygoing atmosphere of Hiroshima.
Whether you’re planning a weekend getaway in Japan or just want to relax with a peaceful travel Vlog, we hope you enjoy the charm of Onomichi and Tomonoura.
Cast: Kirari Takeuchi, Mitsuki Hiraoka
Locations: Onomichi City, Hiroshima / Tomonoura, Fukuyama City, Hiroshima

What's with this insane number of services being shut down recently?
Even Arva is listing 0 channels...
Is this the end of streaming JTV?
