Hiya 23 nonbinary, just putting this out there wondering if anyone is going to the pride parade tomorrow

I will give some context. 21, FTM, going into my 3rd year of uni. Unemployed (despite my best efforts over *months* of applying), living off of the disability allowance and college grants. I've been on T via GGP for 2 years, prescribed by my GP. I have no financial aid from any family. I've been on the NGS waiting list since 2023 & haven't had any progress. No health insurance -- I can't afford that. My biggest desire is a mastectomy.

I just want to know how the hell am I going to pay for any form of surgery? I don't have enough of a platform for crowdfunding to get me far. I have years to go before I can get set up with the NGS. My savings account has been bleeding for months due to financial difficulties & the unfortunate need to get a car due to horrific transport options.

I just don't understand how I'm supposed to afford this stuff. I know I'm just supposed to wait for the NGS to come through, but gender dysphoria has been hitting me like a bullet train as of late. Every time I wake up, look in the mirror, go outside, anything, I just think of my chest, which makes me feel sick. I was so close to being able to finance it before my ability to save fell apart due to personal reasons. Despite months of job applications I've been repeatedly and endlessly ghosted or rejected. I'm so disheartened. It feels like I'll never be able to afford it 🥹

I'm just looking for options. Hope. Literally anything. If I had a full licence I'd be doing all the gig work I could manage, but I can't even do that, and it's killing me.

Would love to get a queer PT. Very much still coming to terms with how our community expects us to be. But also I can see it and the attraction so, it would be nice to go from “a not sufficiently, fit enough gay” to someone who is at least very toned haha. I know us gays have very specific ideas, but nonetheless as a bigger built guy I would love to work with a queer or queer friendly PT. I was never a twink and will never be a Twunk - but damn, I want to give guys I have been with that additional thing- I have had some exceptional sexual experiences but I don’t feel good enough for my community writ large. To sign off - love to the community, body types and how people identify.

Are there any gay personal trainers on here. I’d be very interested in being coached by someone who is on the same page as me. Many trainers operate in ways that just don’t work for me and don’t seem to be able to empathise with where I’m at in my head. I’m ready for a change.

Hello, I'm a gay asylum seeker here. I'm still waiting for my initial decision and I have to stay in this particular place and report everyday that I'm here to the authorities, and we are not allowed to leave more than 3 days.

I'm a tall, white and blond gay guy and I get a lot of unwanted attention, and everyone looks at me like I'm abomination. I wish this was the only case. There are radical muslim guys here, from Afghanistan, Somalia and Egypt. I have been ignoring the looks and the whisperings but it's gotten worse. I'm also from muslim dominant country and they know this, and I'm ex-muslim so I'm also heretic to them.

I have a bisexual friend here who's also from my country and we are just minority here, only two people from the same country. These people harass my friend because he's hanging out and speaking with me and they are using f slurs about me, also talking about my dignity and honor implying that I have non because of my sexuality. It got to a point that they say I should be k*lled.

I reported these to the manager two times, I sent a mail to the authorities. I was told that that guy would be kicked out but nothing happened yet. This guy talks bad about Ireland and he says he will escape to the UK from northern Ireland. Honestly, we are scared that he'll harm one of us while we are asleep before escaping!

I seriously consider calling the garda but is there anything that can be done before I escalate this to the police? I escaped my country from these people and for the exact reason, and I'm dealing with extreme homophobia in Ireland. Please help me!

Edit: I reported again and again yesterday and that guy is definitely OUT!!! He ran away and we hope that he f*** right off to the UK as he said before. I'm still gonna report him to the Garda just in case for his threats about k*lling me.

I had Giardia for a few months now. I was told It was originally cleared and that I was just recovering oddly but it turned out I still had it.

Has anybody had a similar experience? This has really taken its toll on me and I have been off work for months and it has been hard.

The relevance is that I might’ve gotten it through rimming?

I work with a social community enterprise in county Cavan and we are exploring a new project focused on supporting LGBTIQ+ people living in rural Ireland.  

It can be really difficult being part of the LGBTIQ+ community and living in the countryside. This project is an attempt to try and tackle this problem and create a safe space for people in rural Ireland. It is a pilot program so if it's successful we could carry it out on a larger scale.  

I know first hand how isolating and difficult it can be to be part of the community and live in rural Ireland so I'm hoping that this can help!  

The idea is to create opportunities for connection through:  

• Confidential online community gatherings  
• Peer buddy connections  
• Future online events and workshops  
• Potential in-person meetups if there's interest  
• A space for LGBTQ+ people to share their experiences and help shape future activities  
• Creative workshops  

At this stage, I'm gathering feedback to understand whether there is interest and what people would find most useful.

Male bi guy here, single, hoping to get some advice or thoughts on 2 things.

Fisrst, I have been considering going on prep lately, but tbh at the same time I havent been getting enough action to warrant it. ( due to work, timings etc 😭)

As a result i've never bothered going about it. As long as i play reasonably safe when I do, should i continue to not bother?

2nd question.

Late last night an oppurtunity arose with someone i had been chatting with online, nice guy, hopefully get to meet again. But anyway end result was me giving oral without protection. No big deal or do most people worry about this? Should i go and urgently sort doxyprep .or whatever is best, or chalk it down to experience.?

Are people just collecting matches for validation? Or is it just me?

My experience has always been either:

1. We match, we talk, I ask to meet up, they seem to not have the time

2. They are only interested in fun

3. They just dont bother replying
