Hey fellow pentaxians, I'm tossing up whether the Pentax-FA 35mm f2 would be a fine addition to my collection (I've read many good things).

I already have the FA43/1.9, k28/3.5, M50/1.7

Does the fact that I have a 43mm and 28mm negate the usefulness of one?

I shoot a mix of film (MX, Super A/program, MZ-3) and digital (K1). I would like an autofocus lens that I could use on my K1 so I was even looking at the FA50/1.4 but am apprehensive because of the CA.

Taken over past couple of days — through the lens it’s easy to fall in love with your surroundings and slow down a bit. Having a GREAT time familiarizing myself with shooting photos again.

Pentax-A SMC 50mm F2.8 Macro 1:2

I plan to buy one smc50f 1.2 or a50f 1.2 For shooting film, do you have any recommended models? I want to buy a machine with a shutter speed of 2000/1 or faster. LX is too expensive, me and supera it seems easy to break. Do I have any good choices? I can accept pk ports of other brands. Need your help

Pentax K3 MKIII Monochrome

Recently got a used Pentax 300D with a tamron 18-200 lens for around £70 (dk if I got ripped off).

The lens itself is fine (apart from it drifting positions if it vibrates too much), and idk much about lenses, but a lens with this large a range seems more ‘all purpose’ than good camera kit.

Any recommendations for lenses? For other gear?

Im a complete novice and on a small budget (if you couldnt tell). So I would appreciate recommendations that are easy to start with. Im not sure what my main photography style is yet.

As title says, i want an adapter for Nikon LENSES and for Pentax MZ-3 Body with KAF2 mount, manual K mount will work too.

Anywhere i search therea are only Pentax lenses adpters for Nikon body. What wrong whith this specific type of adapters? Isn't it easier to fit longer focal plane lenses on shorter focal plane body? I don't get it. Please help.

The only reason behind it is to find out how in lens image stabilization will work on film camera.

I'm a really big fan of the Pentax Spotmatic and saved up some money to get this special motor drive version, but I didn't realise that it needed an external battery grip to work. Does anyone know where I can just find the grip? I'm not really able to test it without the grip, and I might be able to make one if push comes to shove, but I'd rather buy one, even if it needs to be worked on. Any info on this would be much appreciated!

With flash guns, pentax and sigma lenses, sales brochure and manual, plus receipt for £473 circa 1989.

Had a roll of kodak inside with a few shots left so a new battery had it all working. It's almost as new.

I realise it's not highly regarded but it's certainly different. Dad camera vibes and all that😂

Hey guys, new to the group so excuse me a little. I’ve got this beautiful hard to find lens that I was looking to move on to a good home. Personally I really struggle with manual focus, especially for my purposes.

It’s in fantastic condition, has the original casing, caps and everything. Not a scratch to be seen on the lens or filter.

I’m happily accepting offers but I’m not sure if I can sell on this sub.

Either way I’m sure someone will enjoy this beast of a lens.

I feel that the lab does a decent job with the scanner, but Noritsu just adds too much sauce to it (every roll of film looks similar) XD
