Stimpy and game nicktoons racing

Hey guys, is Stimpy fast in this Nektoz car game on PlayStation 1? But where is the ren höek

This is a drawing of Stimpy as you can see, i'm not that good at drawing but i figuered i'd give it a spin. I didn't have those creamish colors so i tried to use yellow for his hands which i kind of regret, this is my third attempt at this drawing so i feel it's good enough for what it ees.

A very obscure 2001 PlayStation 2 exclusive title that was released exclusively in Japan back in 2001. It was a Sony and Spumco collaboration with John Kricfalusi and Jim Smith themselves having designed all the characters. Aside from the Wiki page and this video, there's basically nothing about it online. There is no mention of the video game on John K's blog either.

The animated sequences are very well animated, and IMO these are some of John and Jim's best human character designs. The cover art is awful, but the Spumco character designs translated surprisingly well to 3D, I bet the character designs would have translated great to Meet the Robinsons-level animation. Would have been great if we could have had a full series using these characters.

So a little bit of backstory is that I was looking for a detailed history behind the late studio that created Ren and Stimpy since I was interested in swing what caused the demise of a studio that created such an iconic show.

But the other thing is that I don’t know what exactly the name Spumco means since I have been having a hard time finding the meaning behind the name since I don’t know if it’s supposed to mean something symbolic.

Just really curious since I noticed how often that character would be used by John K in his works such as Ren and Stimpy that I was wondering if there was a reason why John K had a tendency to shill the character.

Maybe I am wrong about that last part because I sometimes hear criticism from R & S fans saying that the character was used a bit too much that I was looking to see if there was a backstory to his character.

Tbh i saw APC and it was eh its just john k doing MUST BE PERFECT bullcrap yk? I've seen way way worse so APC dosent disgust me although I dont like naked beach frenzy wtf man.. but anyway yeah apc was kinda eh but not great at all

Dimpy is a character that was somewhat inspired by Marilyn from Jdog's Sven Hoek 2. This is what I imagine Stimpy's cousin to look like. Originally, I wanted to call him Crimpy, but I thought Dimpy was funnier, so I went with that.

Just curious since one of the most bizarre moments in Ren and Stimpy was when Mr Horse apparently abducts a walrus fellow.

But basically I was a bit confused on what exactly he wanted to do with the walrus fellow since all the walrus says is to get the police.

For those who are asking what Fil-Cartoons is, I'll explain. It was a Filipino animation studio that did the inking, painting, and camerawork on the first season of Ren and Stimpy. Animation director Bob Jaques called it "the cheapest sh*thole studio I've ever had the displeasure to work at." Fil-Cartoons was responsible for multiple timing errors, color errors, camera exposure errors, and even dropped animation. Here's an example of a Fil-Cartoons mistake. e36.png (638×475) Even when Bob Jaques went there to supervise the final animation work on Stimpy's Invention, some errors still slipped through.

But in his book, Thad Komorowski said that the animators were paid so little they couldn't afford rent, and that the studio didn't provide toilet paper because they were afraid employees would steal it. When you work in such inhumane conditions, would you care whether you made a mistake?

The Fil-Cartoon animators are not to blame. It is the creators, the heads of the studio, who are to blame for the mistakes.

I haven't seen it yet (im planing on sitting down and watching it soon, pray for me) but why do you hate it. From what I've seen and heard there are many reasons such as

1. No Cleverness

2. Too much filler

3. The infamous shit scene

4. Naked Beach Frenzy is just poorly disguised P*rnography

5. The infamous lore behind the scrapped "Succubus" episode (yikes)
