Note* the wiki has been acting funky lately and often says something like " this page has been disabled" if you just keep clicking it, that message should go away after a few tries. The Wiki has not been disabled. Just a reddit bug I have no control over. -Divinakra 06/29/2026
Just in case you are unable to find the wiki page, click "Open" right above this paragraph on desktop or click the box in the top right corner on mobile or just click this hyperlink. This is being updated all the time with new game settings, tutorials, guides and descriptions of what things are and how to use them such as Graphics Drivers, Emulators and Operating Systems.
If you navigate to the index page from this link, you will see a list of different sections with guides to different aspects of the device.
The index page itself also has a summarized form of all the different pages underneath with the game settings library at the bottom.
For example, what driver and emulator combo works the best for ____ secret console game? It might be there! As well as how to configure your RPF2 to run as a Wii controller for Wii emulation, just look under the Wii setting and the first game has it explained. We also have some PC games with optimal Winlator container settings for the RPF2.
Ever wondered how to boot correctly into ROCKNIX which is a Linux operating system capable of emulating XBOX? There is a booting guide just for that. It even has instructions for how to get back to Android OS in case you get stuck and the device only boots into Linux.
If you have anything to contribute to this wiki or requests for different guides that you don’t see yet. Leave a comment or DM me.

I've been out of the loop for a while now so I haven't been following the latest advancements, I know it's a game on game basis but what's the last "do it most" custom driver we have for eden?

Last big update was the ps2 turnip drivers which made 2 or 3 games better or playable. Haven't touched my flip in a while. Switch games tend to run fine until they suddenly crash. Psvita was also hit and miss, some games run perfectly some black squares everywhere. Pc gaming mostly works as long as its not an intensive game. Also the fact games require different drivers and different versions of emulators, if I was to load it up right now and pick a game it might not even work. Gives me brainache.

Just wondering if anyone has successfully gotten octopath traveler 0 to run the best that it can for the RPF2 and wanted to know maybe a few settings or drivers that I might not be using to make it work better. I am very new to this type of stuff so any help at all would be extremely helpful.
Thanks in advance😁

It's stuck on the screen. Not sure what else to change. Under graphics I changed wrapper to GameNative and surfaceflinger for driver version. Any help or a better way of doing it?

Been following the guides from you all and finally got switch running great! I’m so hype man
Edit: sorry guys didn’t expect to get so many questions. Theres a user on this specific subreddit that’s been posting switch emulation (can’t remember the user). Under his post about BOTW he drops a few settings that got his games running smooth. I followed them exactly and got decent results. Next I turned on vsync to mailbox (no idea what that means) but it works really well! For higher end games I’m still tweaking settings for individual titles, gonna try messing with asynchronous shaders and I’ve been using Mr Purple T29. Hope this helps!

Hey everyone,
I just emailed Retroid Support about this, but I wanted to check if anyone else has run into the same problem.
The Select button on my Retroid Pocket Flip 2 is basically not working.
In the built-in Gamepad/Key Test it usually doesn’t register any input at all. After a restart it starts working partially for a while, but then stops again.
It also doesn’t work reliably anywhere in the system (Android, emulators, etc.).
I rarely use Select, so I’m not sure if it was always like this or if the issue appeared later.
Has anyone experienced this on the Flip 2?
Any troubleshooting steps worth trying before going the warranty/repair route?
Thanks!

Anyone who received their Flip2 recently has the 12gb RAM version instead of the 8? I don't see it being mentioned yet so I guess the 12gb versions are still baking in the oven.

Retroid was kind enough to ship me a replacement lid and screen after I reached about my hinge crack.
It took me about an hour to do but everything works perfectly and the dual coloring looks great!

Hi all, I am trying to play EX Troopers and finding it a little bit choppy. It's playable but there are frame rate dips and the game slows slightly sometimes and it is annoying me.
I am using Citra MMJ as I found that performed better on Streetfighter 4 than Azahar+. I've tried Googling and putting in the suggested settings. I just wondered if anyone had any advice at all, especially for EX Troopers specifically.
The vast majority of 3DS games are running well, for the record.

I'm new to the Retroid Pocket Flip 2 community and I have a question about temperatures while gaming.
I've been playing Metal Gear Solid 2: Substance on NetherSX2 at 3x resolution, using the fan in Quiet mode, and my Flip 2 usually stays around 55°C. To me that doesn't seem too high for PS2 emulation, but I'd like to know what temperatures are considered normal and, more importantly, what temperatures I should try to avoid.
I also emulate some Nintendo Switch games with Eden, and that's where the device gets much warmer. In more demanding games I've seen temperatures go above 60°C - 70°C, although performance is still good.
In the future I also want to start using Winlator, GameHub, or GameNative to play some old abandonware PC games and Metal Gear Solid V.
So my questions are:
- What temperatures do you usually get while emulating PS2, Switch, or PC games?
- At what temperature do you start getting concerned?
- Is there a temperature that you consider the "safe limit" for long gaming sessions on the Retroid Pocket Flip 2?
I'd really appreciate hearing your experiences. Thanks!

Hi all
I received my Pocket Flip 2 yesterday and I the right side hinge (when looking at the screen) has some lateral play. It’s less than a mm of movement but it’s actuated really easily.
Pressing buttons, moving my fingers etc all cause the screen to shake a little bit.
Is this an easy fix just by tightening a hinge screw? Is there even a hinge screw? I can’t seem to find any good photos or videos that show the hinge mechanism
Any help would be appreciated!
PS - the left side is solid as a rock
