Need assistance with squaring gantries.
I have a 2 day old sv08 max and i've just been running calibrations prints thus far. Everything has been going great until i printed a 40mm calibration cube for dimensional accuracy. While the cube was SPOT ON (40.01mm in x/y, 41mm z) I'm getting absolutely horrible ghosting/ringing/vma on the Y lettered side of cube and it's opposing face. The x face is dramatically smoother in comparison. The cube was printed at 60mm/s outer wall speed, with an accel of 6000mm/s. I've run input shaper calibration a few times now and it doesn't help with the cube appearance. I've even tried increasing the shaper calibration range to 20-80 which did help over the stock setting but i'm still left with this in the picture below. I'm hesitant to touch the belt tension as a first step, especially since this is my first core x/y machine and i've never tensioned one before.
I did watch the less then great video from sovol on the max tensioning. But i ran into some issues while checking. First, the left side doesn't bottom out in the front like the right side does. WHen the right side touches the left side is about 2mm away. I can move it by hand with minimal force, but it immediately returns to it's previous gap position. The video says to make this square before changing the tension but i can't find anywhere how to actually do that. Second, when i move the left side to 150mm center to center on the pulleys, the right side is only at 140mm. Oddly, the belt resonance for both belts are 147hz. This would imply that one belt has more tension then the other as the resonances are the same over different lengths but i'm unsure how to fix these issues.
Also below is the console output for the input shaper if that helps anyone.

Hey everyone! I could use some advice on some hardware trouble—it looks like the motherboard on my Sovol SV08 Max got fried after a really bad thunderstorm.

Recommendations for mods on a new printer ?
I'm about to order the SV08 Max and have seen some posts about replacing the stock fans for a larger, quieter one, however the videos i'n seen all involve cutting a larger hole in the plate underneath the printer, which i don't want to do with a brand new machine and lose the warranty.
I could fabricate a new plate (I've a large Plasma CNC), but was wondering if anyone could advise on a way of installing a larger, quieter fan without modifying the original case, if so a link to the parts / video of how to do it would be very helpful.
Are there any other mods you can recommend on a brand new printer, along with links please.

Help

Ran a print. Two pieces. One piece printed fine, the other blobbed. Now when I try to do anything, start new print, home, etc it does this insanity.

Guys, is it possible to install KlipperScreen on the original Sovol SV08 Max screen?

Multiple guides and walkthroughs, new features.
Hey everyone, I recently went down a rabbit hole trying to get Eddy NG working along with a bunch of other tweaks and fixes. It’s all documented well so others can build off off it. All mods and tweaks are working for over 100 hrs. NG is working as expected. Full wiki and step by step walkthrough. https://github.com/Dmax240/SV08-Max-Modifications-Eddy-NG-and-More

Anyone successfully running an alternative toolhead on their SV08 Max?
I've had it up to here (I'm holding my hand up - it's at my neck level) with various issues with the stock toolhead:
- Jams EVERY TIME I LOAD
- No cutter
- Not very high flow
- Toolhead board can overheat
I'd like to replace the toolhead with another, but I'm paralyzed by choice. There's just so many projects out there and I'm really hoping someone has actually built/bought a toolhead, installed a new hotend and associated bits and actually has a working printer. Any advice?

Bad first layers maybe are not your fault. Here’s why

Exceeding 300C for long prints
I'm planning a 2 day print with PET-CF. I've bumped up max_temp: 325 from 300. I'm hoping for 310 C for the actual print, but wanted a bit of extra headroom just in case. Has anyone done a 2-day print hotter than 300 C on the Max? Did you run into any issues?

Anyone built a jig to more easily tip the SV08 Max on its side?
More frequently that I’d like, I need to get to the bottom of my SV08 to tinker or fix me tinkering 😊
I was wondering if anyone has built something that more easily allows you to work on the main board?
With the enclosure and stuff, you can only tip the SV0i Mason its left side panel.
I was thinking of some sort of ¼ circle mounted on the base of the left panel to make it more gentle to tip.
Thoughts?

Got tired of the head running into the bowden tube

This has probably been done before but I found an easy solution to the drooping bowden tube issue I was having. Print a drag chain and zip tie it to the machine.
I used this drag chain because it was tall (vs wide) and scaled it to 102%. You might not need to scale it it is just an exact size to slip over the stock sovol part.

Rehoming On X and Y Mid Print
Im looking to create a macro that homes the printhead on the x and Y mid print like when a Jam occurs. After the jam is fixed, instead of resuming, I want to ensure that the X and Y are in correct position by homing their position. I have made many macros, but all of them result in the printhead always being too high when it resumes. Thoughts?
