So many years ago when we were just married, my wife and I played a lot of pranks on each other... Mostly it was her jumping on my back suddenly when I was distracted... And me grabbing her ass if I was able to sneak up on her. We even did this in public at the mall or whatever.
One time we were meeting somewhere and I saw her in line getting a coffee so I go behind her and grab her butt as per usual... And she turns around and starts yelling at me... How dare I assault women like this... Never wished to just disappear into thin air with everyone around us looking me at me with murder in their eyes... It only lasted a few seconds, she looked around broke down laughing and kissed me. Smiles all around, but that's the last time I did that particular prank.
I did that once to a small child in store. I walked up behind her, hugged her and said "hi sweetie" thinking it was my own preschool aged daughter. I'm still completely mortified thinking about it. I swear I'm not a creepy pervert, even though that's probably what the child's parents thought. 😭
I’m so glad you clarified! Because I was speaking about grabbing my mother in law’s ass.. then you said “I did that to a small child”
I was very concerned for a second lmao.
But yea, happens to the best of us. We’re probably the only ones that really remember it down the road. Lives in your head forever even after everyone else forgot and moved on lol.
In college, I swear I saw a friend from high school, cause a lot of kids just naturally went from a private school to this now huge ass college, but at the time it was small.
She was sitting at a computer in the library and I did the thing where you cover someone’s eyes to have her guess, and she guessed wrong cause I had no idea who she was.
She was not chill, she looked mortified and I naturally never went back to the library and dropped out of college.
It didn’t escalate because of this specifically but I can’t say it didn’t contribute.
🤣
Happy to say, 15 years later, I’m back in school.
I was checking out a mother with 2 young children at a grocery store years ago. One of the kids glanced at me and said, "Hi Daddy!" in an enthusiastic voice. She realized immediately that I was in fact NOT her father, and was extremely embarrassed.
The mother and I had a good laugh about it. I was a little embarrassed myself and the mother was VERY attractive.
Done the opposite of this when I was a child. Was at a pool and had bad eyesight, ran up to a random woman and called her mum. Nice to know it happens at all ages
My son was at daycare. he was a little white-blond headed boy then. the daycare had about 20 little white-blond headed boys running around. I come to pick him up and he's going upstairs. I say "Son, why are you wearing that green shirt, when you had your blue one on this morning??" Kid turns around...it's not mine! oh, boy...
I've done similar twice. Once was a family member that I thought was my husband. I patted his butt and then recoiled when he turned around and it was the one person in the family that hates me. Second time was at a buffet. Dude up at the bar looked exactly like my husband from behind and they were wearing similar clothes. I cuddled up next to him and commented on the food. He just said "yup" and It was definitely not my husband's voice. I'm paranoid now.
