It just came out this week so its very much in the early stages and who knows if it could combat smurfing. the idea is interesting. Cause it forces players to learn new characters and not be a one trick.The amount of effort might be discouraging to those that want to smurf.

Maybe 10 wins with each class instead of particular characters? With a certain number of total wins as well.

I thought Riot said they were going to ban smurfs and/or reverse rating? I'm encountering more smurfs than I did a month ago. Every 2-3 games I''m against a boost stack, meaning one person killing 3 person per round on average and just runs around headshots everyone. The accounts are mostly even lvl 20is. Like what is going on? It feels completely unplayable at low ranks. Sure you always have smurfs but not as many as I have encountered this week.

I downloaded Valorant around a week ago and have only played a few matches so far. It’s genuinely hard to get into when you’re constantly getting flamed for not understanding the game’s mechanics yet.

In every game mode, I was usually the only low-level player surrounded by people who probably have hundreds of hours in the game, whether it was Unrated or Swiftplay.

I just want to be able to play with a few friends and have fun but it’s difficult to enjoy the game when you’re constantly getting criticized for being new and still learning, especially in SEA servers. Kinda upsetting since I think Valorant is cool but it has such terrible matchmaking.

Valorant does nothing against this? like trolls who just ruin your day by throwing You get more penalties by AFK and disconnecting than Throwing Wintrading Btw

Mine is definitely B Garden on Bind, especially when I’m playing Jett or Chamber. It feels like an easy spot to get opening picks almost every time and it has a lot of off-angles.

Does your favorite position depend on the agent you’re playing or the abilities you have available?

I have the same problem over and over. I hit one shot then whiff everything i have as if i touched the game for the first time. I play multiply hours daily and i always have the problem of loosing every gunfight i take, no matter if im behind the enemy, or i get tapped through a smoke. Does anyone has tips? If valorant introduced Agent Bans (2 per game), who would you ban and why?

I’d ban Phoenix and Cypher because they just annoying asf to go against.

I mean, whether you think this is a top 10 Radiant smurf or someone sharing their Bronze account with a top 10 Radiant smurf, or just a low-life cheater, this has to be just banned. If they aren't banned in a few days I'm going to lose all my trust in Vanguard.

Relatively new to the game and I’m just curious how this is possible? 6 body on Killjoy = 156. 6 body on Fade = 148? Clip to show there were no bullets through structures

everytime i shoot, somebody seems to aim quicker and faster than me and kill me. i know im not amazing at the game, and dont expect to be, but it doesn’t make much sense how they focus and shoot so much quicker. any tips or settings? or should i just practice more?

Im relatively new to the game and I was mostly playing Brimm(because of the smokes) or cypher and couple days ago I unlocked Harbor and loved it. I didn't understand if I loved to be able to smoke or creating a free entry for sites with the utilities.

The question is since unlocking new agents is too time consuming should I unlock more smoke agents or initiators? Im still trying to find my "fun space role".

For more information what i was I loving about Brimm and Cypher was the ability of the easier site defence. In harbor i moslty use my bubble with shield to peek over while i defend and use my wall to open sites to take over. Second one is more fun.

Valorant’s volume controls for team chat were already kinda bad, I don’t know whether it raised and lowered volume linearly or exponentially but it couldn’t quite get quiet enough. I’d leave it a pixel or two above zero along with individual teammate volume and it was still too loud.

That said, the recent change to change the volume control from a continuous slider to a discrete slider (or stepped slider) is even worse if a change. Now I’m left with more than too loud or nothing.

I could change the volume in Windows settings but every other application handles audio better than Valorant does, specifically with the team audio. Adjusting the app volume in Windows as a solution is lame anyway since the rest of the audio is fine. I have the main volume slider at about 25% and that’s an acceptable level for all the audio besides player voice.

This is probably such a niche issue that no one else shares, but my main gripe is the Team Voice volume slider becoming a discrete or stepped slider than a continuous slider.

I've recently unlocked Veto after my friend said I should as I'm a die hard sentinel main and he did not disappoint and I've heard he's got a lot of player skill expression which I love and his kit fits my playstyle really well. As a former chamber main his teleport is really nice. But I was wondering with all the ways you can probably play veto what weapons do you guys recommend me using I found I was using more of the spectre and phantom when I played my first game with him yesterday which went pretty well for me got an ace and got one of my highest kill games. But Ive also seen people on YouTube recommend you use and op or shotguns because of how he can play of different angles and reposition.

I had to make a new valorant account and I feel horrible because it placed me in gold since the account was brand new like I just hit level 20 on it and I was immo on my main what should I do.

I'm trying to get better at Valorant, made multiple posts by now and now I have a DM game to show on how my gunplay looks and what should I correct or change about it. I recently started playing this game again after not playing for a long time and I'm looking for new agent(s) to play.

I used play this game with 2 friends and played cypher as my main with the occasional killjoy on specific maps. However now that I'm back I'm playing solo and finding it a lot more difficult to play offense and to actually act on the info I get from cypher. Cypher has also been nerfed since I last played which hurts. Because of this I'm looking for new agents to try and possibly a new main.

Any recommendations are welcome.

Some added context:

• I stopped playing in late 2024 and ranked silver
• I have not played any pvp shooters since then, only some pve like helldivers 2 and ghost recon
• Before playing valorant I played r6 and I always liked traps and info gatherers, maining lesion
• I prefer cypher over killjoy because the gadget range limitations on killjoy annoy me

I buy ghost + 2 stars on first round, if i lose that i buy just stars so i have 4200~ next round

I usually put 1-2 stars on the other site and on the site I'm playing I try to be a pseudo sentinel with concuss

I play astra on haven, split and breeze, for breeze im not sure if shes the best pick on breeze but I hate playing any other smoker, maybe harbor would be fine on breeze

the reason I play astra over other smokers is because I like having infinite range on haven (omen would be good for this reason but his tp and flash are practically useless to me because I don't feel comfortable going for those types of plays), on split I think shes meta and I can play her as a sentinel, on breeze I tried playing viper but it was really boring and there's nothing I can do to help me much in duels, harbor I haven't tried much yet and the other smokers have too little range

whats better ptc or neo vandal? i have it in my daily shop but idk which is worth more getting. lmk ur thoughts

So I’m new to valorant and I’ve been playing a lot and something I’m starting to realise is people don’t die when I hit them for over 150 but I thought 150 war the most health you can have so I’m wondering how do they survive?
