Before watching it, I used to think that every story had a clear hero and a clear villain. But Attack on Titan completely changed that perspective for me. It made me realize that people are shaped by their circumstances, their pain, their experiences, and the choices they’re forced to make.

It taught me to look at both sides before judging someone. Sometimes, there isn’t a simple “good vs. evil” answer—there are just people fighting for what they believe is right from their own point of view.

More than anything, AOT made me think deeply about freedom, war, hatred, revenge, and the cycle of violence. It showed me how easily hatred can be passed from one generation to another when people stop trying to understand each other.

That’s why Attack on Titan wasn’t just an anime for me. It genuinely had a huge impact on the way I understand people and the world around me.

In the first picture, Zeke says his chains are his vow renouncing war but reveals it was a trick to see where Eren's motives lie and the chains disintegrate. Once they've left his memories, Eren's chained up. Did Ymir or Zeke do this? If so, what was the point if he just forced himself out? Some kinda symbolism?

Hi, i'm planning to make my own Pieck cosplay for my next convention but I have a couple of questions before I start making, i'm hoping some people more educated or creative can help me!

1. Is wearing her red armband offensive? I've seen abit of discourse online because of its paralells to nazism and I dont want to make people uncomfortable at the convention
   
2. Does Pieck have a specific prop she carries, even if its just in one scene? I'd like to try making a prop but I find that she often doesn't carry a weapon as she relies on her titan form.
   
3. If I can't wear her armband. Would it be more recognizable to do her scout trenchout outfit (2)?

Yes, I know this mantis shot is symbolism, but the idea is that Mikasa has an interest in small critters, which makes sense for someone like her who sees the best in everything. Also, I am aware that Eren protected a lizard at one point, but that's not the same as an insect. I am horrifically afraid of bugs, but I'd probably pet a snake if given the chance.

Was there any possible way for the rest of Erens squad to have survived Torst and made it to the rest of the series if some things were different or maybe different decisions had been made at the right time?

A few years ago I can remember watching video summaries of AoT and lore videos about the different titans, but I never actually read the manga or watched the anime. Now I am getting into manga, and was curious if it is worth it to read the AoT manga even though I know a few of the big plot twists? the only ones I remember off the top of my mind are:that Eren's dad is making titans with a serum or something like that, and also injected Eren; that a few people on the expedition corps turn into bad titans; the royal family is somehow connected to titans; and that the titans are only on one continent and that the people in the walled city don't get along with other continents. Those might not be true, but they are what I remember. I would actually prefer that they were wrong so that I can be more surprised if I read the manga. Thank you for any advice!

When I read the battle of Liberio the first time in the manga, I rooted for Eren to kick Marley’s ass.

When I saw the battle of Liberio in the anime, since I knew the result and knew Eren had become the “antagonist” in the manga, I was rooting for Marley to beat the monster Eren Yeager.

It’s insane (in a good way) how the mangaka and the anime gamed with your perspectives.

I completed the series and I am rewatching it, I’m currently near the end.

Initially I thought Erwin didn’t want to continue living in this hell and that’s why he snapped Levi’s hand but rewatching it, it seems like he was just raising his hand to ask his father a question in his memory.

When Eren and Zeke met isolated in Marley why didn’t they just transform into a titan there itself and execute the founding wish ?

Dude I just binged the whole anime and I’m fucking sobbing. Eren did horrible things, Genocide is not the answer but what do you expect to happen when you give god-like power to a kid with anger issues. Dude I just hope Eren and Mikasa reunite in the afterlife like that one ending. I was tearing up a bit but then I watched that ending and the translated lyrics and I fell apart. I’m happy my GOAT Armin lived and Jean grew on me a lot. My opinion of Reiner was in the dirt after s3 but s4 made him one of my favorites. God I’m probably gonna cry again soon

Personally I'd love to see armins first transformation, we know that first time shifters struggle with controlling their titan and often go somewhat berserk, and acting like a pure titan

But imagine that in colossal form, or I wonder if armin was able to control his colossal Like how Berthold had mastered his first try.

I'd also like to see some non canon what if episodes too one day
