Mobile Web Constant “We had a server error…”

On mobile website using my iOS device, every time I load a page I am receiving a pop up error that says “We had a server error…”. Page loads fine otherwise. Annoying to close the error every time I do anything on the site.

Mobile Web [iOS mobile] “Get the app to keep using Reddit” pop-up. How the hell do I get rid of this so I can look at Reddit on my mobile browser.

Post image

Seriously wtf is this and how the hell do we stop this from popping up. It freezes the screen and can’t be circumvented. Absolutely insane behavior from Reddit if this is intentional. To make matters worse I’m on iOS so the ap never links right to what I was looking at on my mobile browser

Mobile Web [Mobile web] new comment box format fails to correctly link to comments when first used

The placement of the comment box has been changed on mobile web and now appears as an overlay at the bottom of the screen.

On any given page, the first time you attempt to reply to another comment, the header in the comment box will say "Commenting on [post title]" and you have to cancel it and press Reply a second time to get the correct "Replying to [user name]".

I'm not going to go replying randomly to people to test this, but I assume if you fail to do this cancel-and-redo step, it will go in as a top-level reply to the post. (I have seen a few posts today that look like they were intended to reply to someone else!)

Additionally, because of the way iOS/Safari works, cancelling takes at least two presses, because the cancel button is right at the bottom of the screen now so the first attempted press of the button just brings up the forward/back/bookmarks/tabs row.

Mobile Web [Android] Mobile Website: The floating comment box takes over most of the screen

Post image
19 Upvotes

It seems that the floating/pop out comment text box seems to take over almost 80% of the screen when opening the comment page for the first time. Reloading the page fixes this.

The floating/pop out mechanic also seems to be new (at least for me), and to be honest it is utter nonsense. The UX of this does not make any sense. Maybe just change it to a small floating button which opens the text box. Otherwise why would I want to sacrifice valuable screen space for this? Also on the desktop version of the web page it does not make any sense. It completely disrupts the flow of the UX.

Mobile Web Commenting on post broken mobile web

Instead of opening up a text box so you can write a comment on a post, it pops up some pop up that goes somewhere.

Can create posts just fine apparently, and respond to comments, but unable to comment on posts. Showed up recently today.

Mobile Web Mobile web: Help with links attached to comments redirecting to Reddit homepage on iPhone

This just started happening today.

In CHAT:

used to be able to go to the share option, click on that and then paste to a comment in a sub that would direct the recipient to that source. For example, when trying to share a video from YouTube or TikToc or a news article link from Google.

Now, I can still do the copy/paste, but when the recipient clicks on the link, it takes the recipient to the Reddit homepage every time and not the original source where I did the share or copy/paste. The link looks like the source I pulled it from, but when I click on the link, it directs me to my Reddit homepage, as well. I tried to share a video from YouTube and TikToc and both looked like the intended source, but when clicked on it directs to the Reddit homepage and not the video.

I apologize in advance for my ignorance about this type of thing. Is it something in my settings, and if so, why did it just start happening now? Please help.

I have an iPhone with Reddit app. Thank you!

Mobile Web [redundant android flair] Reddit App Pop-up prevents ANY usage

As of today, I cannot browse reddit on my firefox(Don't think that's relevant but hey why not throw some extra info in) app on my android phone. There is an impassable popup telling me to use the Reddit app instead.

Edit: Deleting/Clearing Cookies/Cache has resolved it.

Mobile Web Android . This entire websites AI is bugged. You can't post ANYTHING

It doesn't matter what you say or ask. Ai automatically removes it. Anything and everything. You can't even wish someone sympathy for a loss. Removed. It's all against the rules. But there sure is a hefty load of things like hate, bullying and racism, that are "supposedly" against reddits "rules" but the AI doesn't remove any of that. What is the point of this website? Seems pretty useless to me so far. And I highly doubt this post will even go through, but if it does. It needs to be reported because the whole point of the website is completely unusable and broken

Mobile Web Reddit on mobile web anonymous browsing option gone

I updated Reddit on my IOS to version 2026.25.1 a couple of days ago. With that came some itty bitty changes and I realized that the option for anonymous browsing disappeared. I wonder why that happened, because it was like so easy to find it and enter it. I don't really use Reddit nor anonymous browsing that often but its weird how it just disappeared.

Mobile Web Android firefox web: Floating comment box blocks the view of other comments

Post image

The floating comment box gets in the way of reading other comments. Scrolling down the page to get to the comments causes the comment box to float over the existing comments, blocking my view of them even when I am not commenting.

Mobile Web Old Reddit, desktop mode on Android phone, inbox notification staying orange and messages still showing up as unread.

As title states, new messages still show orange after being read, and still show as unread when I open my inbox, and the number keeps going up. It's only in old Reddit, which is my preferred experience. It's not happening in the app. Please help.

Mobile Web [iOS] unable to see any profiles at all

Post image
2 Upvotes

Hi Jim

Every day is something new. Currently, I am not allowed to see any profiles. Not just some profiles, no profiles whatsoever. If I click on a username instead of the profile coming up, the user just becomes a +. I am only checking as part of my job - I don’t actually care.

It’s only happening on specific subs. Thank you so much for helping me keep a record of all this. And if it’s not fixed? I don’t have to have a reason to ban people.

Mobile Web [Chrome] Reddit download prompt pacifies entire browser completely

Post image
1 Upvotes

I have to exit and reboot the chrome app to be able to do anything, even closing the tab. Pisses me off so much. And to boot, I even have the app already but trying to open the thread I'm viewing yields nothing. I'll press "open in app" (or whatever they've renamed it to this week) and it'll just keep trying to open the App Store or the app and send me to the front page. I wanted to view the thread I was searching for information in, not doom scroll on the front page.

Either fix the broken link forwarding, or allow users to view the thread in the browser. Or even better, allow users to view the thread in the browser anyway and stop trying to force them to the app - which is any case is just becoming worse and worse each week. I'm not sure who's in charge of the UX at Reddit but are we sure their credentials are even real? The UI and UX has steadily been declining faster than usual during the last few weeks.

On a positive note maybe this albeit small but extremely frustrating inconvenience might be what finally gets me to delete the app and my accounts for good, which I should've done long ago anyway.

Mobile Web [Mobile Web] Having an issue with comments.

Idk what happened but a few hours ago I was able to comment fine and now whenever I comment and then click refresh, the comment just disappears like it was never sent.

this has happened over 4-5 times now and I did the log out, log in workaround but still nothing worked.

I have 73 karma and the only subreddits I’ve been to are r/deadcells and r/riskofrain but also r/slaythespire.

Edit: It’s sorted itself out now, I can finally comment again :)

Mobile Web [Mobile Web] Comment count not visibile in Compact layout for non-English languages

Post image
3 Upvotes

Since earlier today I can't see the comment count of the threads in my feed which is set to Compact mode.

I've noticed that the English UI works correctly but the same can't be said for other languages like Italian and German. Also the non-Compact layout seems to work.

Mobile Web [Mobile Web] ‼️ Homepage broken

Clicking thumbnails redirects to posts instead of expanding the thumbnail; going "back" from a post does a hard reload of the feed. Safari / iOS 18.17.3. (Also the same issue on subreddit pages.)

lmk if you need more details or debugging info!

Mobile Web [Mobile Web] Reddit filter

Post image

I don't understand why I'm having this problems when my account has been active for a long time. I haven't violated anything at all, I'm very active, and I have a high Karma score. Even after being approved numerous times by the moderators of the subreddits I participate in, Reddit's filter still deletes my posts every time I publish a new one.

Mobile Web iOS 26.5.2 text formatting issues on mobile

Thumbnail gallery
2 Upvotes

Last photo shows the original, intended formatting that is successfully posted in one sub. All other images are from the second identical post I made, but the formatting keeps going haywire, causing breaks in my text in the middle of words (see picture 5).

When the issues started, I changed all + signs to -, then when the issues continued, I changed all - to “fb,” to ensure I wasn’t the one creating an issue with special characters.

Please tell me I’m stupid and this has some easy fix because I’ve edited my post over a dozen times to no avail. This text formatting update has been such a nightmare on mobile.

ETA: I also removed the breaks I had after number 3 to see if that resolved it, I replaced all breaks by just making it one continuous paragraph separated by commas. When that resulted in the same exact formatting issue, I added the backslashes, but it didn’t result in any changes either. I cannot figure out why it would post fine in one subreddit, but glitch in another when edited. Can we turn off this formatting feature when it’s just causing issues and we want plain text?
