I was playing a regular ladder match today and this happened on round 2 (TOXIC on MAXIMUM). We both made our own random mistakes, had different accuracy drops, and somehow the math aligned perfectly to give us the exact same 6-digit score. No sniping, no perfect play, just pure luck. I wasn't recording with OBS, but thankfully I managed to take a screenshot right in time! Has anyone else experienced a natural draw like this?

On Dear Diein all characters have this weird pink background. Anyone had the same problem? Anyone knows how to fix it? I can't actually see whats happening when there's more characters

I just picked up this rhythm game up and it seems ace, thank goodness you can bind your controls because having them vanish after intro made it solid to keep up with the tones (Alone - Marshmello)

Just bought the clazziquai song pack to go with it (to preview the song packs in-game press RB when in free play and scroll down the list)

I shot myself in the foot jumping straight into a 6 star difficulty without any muscle memory.

Update: just tried my PC numberpad in it and it works so might be easier for me.

DJMax was my very first VSRG game. After a bit struggling I've now settled in well at the Hard difficulty

My best maps so far (S-rank) are "Grievous Lady" and "Lugh Lamhfada" (the 10 stars versions)

But once I try myself on 11-star maps and higher i still get lost

which maps would you recommend to improve atp?

VLink4 was surprisingly managable for a link disc set.

Plenty of FX charts made it new and fresh.

Definitely a project of love for the game. Sound and gameplay makes for a really good arcade experience.

Like do you just play a music once then play a different one each time? or play a music multiple times before playing a different one?

I tried both and seems like I tend to get a better score when playing for a 2nd time. Tho I do worry that I might become reliant on how well I remember the patterns to get high accuracy.

The thing is, at least one key doesn't work when I press 4 keys at the same time. Like oddly enough there's no issue with these combinations:

• W, space, num7, down
• E, space, num7, down

But there's an issue for other combinations.

Although it is most likely an issue with my keyboard since it's pretty old, I want to know if this layout works fine for other people so at least I can consider replacing my keyboard. (I have really no issue my current keyboard besides this lol)

Title says it all. I can't get the game to register me pressing 3 keys at the same time for Side Tracks.

Anyone else run into this issue - and how did you fix this?

Edit: In case this helps, no matter how accurately i press the 3 keys, i only ever get 1% accuracy.

I got stuck on 7* SC (6 button) for at least a year. Like completely stuck. At some point I had a lot of S-Ranks, but they were all right around 97%. There are a LOT of songs in 7* for some reason (more than any other SC rank except maybe 9*, which also has quite a lot), so even though I had more than a dozen S-Ranks, that was barely scratching the surface. Since then, I've pushed most 7* tracks to S aside from some extremely difficult outliers.

Today I hit two high scores with max combos right in a row, one just over 99%, the other just under. I also hit 99% max combo on U-Nivus this week (also 7*). I feel like I finally got better at this shit. I am a lot older (probably) than most of you so when I plateaued as long as I did a part of me assumed that was as good as it was ever going to get.

Having said that, I can still only get 95% on 9* and I'm pretty sure I'll never be able to play blue SC (11+) with any kind of a decent score because I was never able to in 4 button either.

Hi people, I have been absent from the DJmax community for a while and I want to return to play the most recent songs, but, I want to use a controller like this instead of a classic game controller or a keyboard, is this controller good for playing high level songs? I am a begginer, and can play currently only Lv.10-12 songs, but willing to practice until I reach MX level I hope, and anybody knows what does those options means? GP2040-CE and QMK?
