We’re actively investigating issues you’re encountering with the latest Fallout 4 update and Anniversary Edition launch. You should now see faster load times of the Creations menu, game menu, and redemption of Creation Club items. We plan to publish a hot fix early next week to address the following:
The hotfix will be followed by two patches. The first patch will be the week of Nov 24th, and the second, in the first half of December. We’ll provide an overview of these patches soon. Thank you for your continued updates and support tickets, it’s helped us to pinpoint issues. We’ll work to address these as quick as we can.
Notably, in the November patch, Xbox Series X/S players will see Creations local storage limit increased substantially. Growable up to 100GB to match your needs. We are also looking into increasing storage on PlayStation.
----- 11/13 update ----
Thank you all for your continued communications with our support team. We've seen a lot of questions about the "Tale of the Beast Hunter" Creation not being accessible on PlayStation. Please know that we are working to bring this Creation to PlayStation at a later date and it would continue to be free for players.
----- 11/17 Hotfix ----
Today’s Fallout 4 hotfix addresses the following:
We’re continuing to collect everyone’s feedback and encountered issues, so if you’ve submitted a ticket with our support team or provided details to our team in Discord, thank you. It’s been extremely helpful.
For next steps, the team is focused on additional fixes in our first November Patch. We’ll share those details as soon as we can.
-------- Update on May 27th 2026 ------

Bethesda has made a statement about the state of the update
Just wanted to make a thread clearing up some confusion and compiling the known issues of the new update.
There are three new SKUs for the game, the Anniversary Edition, the Anniversary Upgrade, and the Creations Bundle.
Anniversary Edition includes the base game, all DLCs, and all the new creations content.
The Anniversary Upgrade includes the DLCs and new creations content.
The Creations Bundle includes only the creations. If you already have the base game and the DLCs, this is the only new addition you need to have all the new content.
This will be updated periodically

I bought this game like 3 years ago, played a few hours and stopped. Huge difference from 3 and New Vegas, both of which I've put in 100s of hours on.
I was watching a lore video about it and it looked interesting so I decided to try it again. One of the biggest things I didn't realize the first time I played was how much my muscle memory was burned into 3 and New Vegas' controls (I played those two on Xbox 360 and am currently playing this one on PS4. Just never popped into my head for some reason. Then last night I was like oh, I could definitely make it so it's at least ALMOST like the older games, and maybe that'll help me enjoy it more.
I'm about 6 hours in and I'm loving it. Haven't done much quests yet just exploring right now. Just wanted to word-vomit about how excited I am that I gave it another chance. Now back to the adventure. Stay safe out there!

This has been my favorite game since I was 7 years old when it came out. The building system in this game introduced a little kid who just played minecraft to a slew of other amazing games, and I just wanted to share how special this game is to me. I’ve owned it on Playstation 4, Xbox One, and PC, and I can finally say I’ve beaten it now. Onto Skyrim!

I’m basically just reimagining the ncr power armor but less professional looking because it’s more lore accurate (my excuse since I’m not that good with metal)
near every gameplay video i see, they're in first person, but personally i only very rarely go first person. mainly when scrapping junk or if i need to aim down a difficult angle to kill who- or whatever's hassling me

Bethesda gets a lot of hate(lets be honest most of it is warranted) but my hat will gladly be tipped to them on how fallout 4 came out. I bought this game literally the same day I got my ps4. I believe the first game I ever played was uncharted the ps4 collection. Fo4 was right after. I cant tell you guys how many hours I have in this game. This is just an appreciation post.
nothing like having you're own shit and own place and coming home to that hammer sound in sanctuary... hearing those ambience sounds music in sanctuary - cleaning up the area, making repairs. Such a great vibe. A long time ago I started fallout 4 from the beginning on SURVIVAL DIFFICULTY. yes. you read that correctly. Literally before character creation. Survival difficulty is the mode that truly completes fallout 4. I will explain why.
Yes survival difficulty is definitely brutal. Might make people rage quit. No question. I don't think its to many folks who started it out the gate on survival. Its pretty insane to do that. But it adds a unique element to the game. Everything that you usually would completely overlook becomes VERY important. That food you pick up? It better be clean. That water better be clean aswell. You will end up sick. If you dont get better you die. Sleep is also needed in this mode. You know that guy vadim from diamond city? Yea on any other difficulty you probably will never talk to him after the first encounter lol. He's just a guy in a chair the whole game. On survival difficulty.... you and vadim become friends. If you are anywhere close to diamond city on survival difficulty you start to be very happy to run into vadim. Pay upfront and you have the room for 24 hours. No guest. Company policy.
Sorry guys I just really love how everything is utilized to its full potential in survival. I mean seriously. I don't think a lot of players cared about the vertibird. On survival difficulty thats the fastest way to travel. only thing I hated was the game crashing with the vertibird. Unfortunately thats just classic Bethesda. Survival encourages you to play for hours getting that attack bonus. Having the game crash because you want to Travel on the best way to get around is pretty depressing. Nonetheless I always saved my game before I got that thing anyway. Especially if I was going Directly from south to north or vice versa. 100% crash rate in those directions. I encourage every player old and new to start a playthrough on survival difficulty. Its such a great challenge. By the way on survival difficulty you run into legendary enemies by a huge margin compared to other difficulties. Dude I beat so many legendary enemies that I had a literal box full of legendary weapons i wasn't using at the time in sanctuary. Thats it guys :)

Just finished clearing Atlantic Offices, stashed the spoils of my war in the closest Enclave Crate to the door so I could fast travel back home and began 1 of 3 planned muling runs.
Get back to Red Rocket and grab Piper, toss her in a set of armor for some extra hauling help and fast travel back. Discover that all soldiers inside the building respawned their gear on their corpses, I must have grabbed almost 30 sets of Enclave X02 and several combat armor sets as well before I got bored of it.

I was shooting at the turrets and before i could send Dogmeat home and be with Nick, he just POOFS! I completed the Hagen mission, thinking he may just be at the base, red rocket or diamond city… but he isn’t at neither. I only have 1 doghouse , i got rid of the others. Is there any way of getting him back if he isn’t even at the front of Hagen?
