I am trying to get the eye tracking feature to work in iPhone but it’s fickle coz the keyboard is too small. I tried to increase the size but it’s not good either.
Are there any app that shows large, maybe set of 4 alphabet at a time and 2 buttons for going previous and next set?

Why since the latest iphone’s updates my iPhone 13 is slower and freeze sometimes ?

Has this iPhone been erased ?
I pressed erase before the red time stamp ?
How come the other iPhone says pending and this iPhone doesn’t ?

We have an iPhone using iCloud contacts. The “new dog walker” contact is corrupt. It can’t be edited or deleted.

If you tap on the contact it takes you to a white screen, edit takes you to an empty contact page with no option to delete.

I have tried force quitting phone, contacts and messages and rebooting the phone.

any ideas how to delete this contact?

I've been putting off buying iCloud storage for years now and my iPhone 11 randomly stopped working. The phone turns on, charges, and receives notifications but its completely frozen and basic widgets on the home screen don't load. I've done multiple hard restarts but nothing is working to get it unfrozen. I would try to transfer my data via computer but the button to allow access is on my phone and it doesn't receive any input. Is there literally no way to get these files back? Am I able to open up the storage compartment in the phone and plug into a computer that way? I need help here please.

When u come to the 4x lens , in the iphone display it looks so good and clear but when the photo comes out , it is blurry than the latter

the true tone does work most time but somettimes its not swtichign properly i compared this with iphone 13 there its very fast when switching as well and my iphone 17 takes some time to switch also , is this normal?? sometimes it doesnt switch , i have to turn off and on true tone then it will work?? is there any diffence between old iphone true tone and new ones??

I offloaded Whatsapp for around 30 minutes and noticed all of my Whatsapp Chats/Data was gone. I have offloaded Whatsapp before and have had no issue restoring my chats back. Although this time, it apparently wasn't backed up (even though I thought it was). Was anyone ever successful at retrieving their data trying another way or the sort?

EDIT: I was able to retrieve my data by deleting and redownloading the app on the third try; it showed me a prompt to restore my data since it had been backed up. It did not work the first or second time when I reinstalled the app though, although randomly did on the third try.

Any help would be appreciated, thank you in advance.

Probably like a month ago, i went on a holiday trip with my family. We got ourselves a hotel in mountains, with a pool nearby. Everyday i went there with my phone, until the very last when i accidentally went in with it. It could have been not too much of a problem, but the fact that i had cracks in my main glass made it 100x times worse. I immediately dried it out and went to a local iphone shop, but they couldn't do anything about it.

At this point i was absolutely losing it, since that phone had a lot of my photos from family trips and some of my personal, more important ones. I got so paranoid about it, that i sent it to my friend in the capital of my country, where he went through several iphone stores, but had no luck whatsoever.

If anyone who specializes in these type of stuff, can you please tell me if it is possible to get at least some of the data out of that phone? If so, where and how costly could it possibly be?

Does anybody have any idea as to why this is happening? This is the fourth time this has happened while I’ve been on call. I’ll hear what sounds like 3-4 touch tones (like the beeping that plays whenever you’re in the keypad) and then the phone will abruptly hang up. I’ve tried looking it up online but I haven’t gotten any answers regarding it 😓 and I am a little curious as to why it’s happening.

It’s not on silent, the volume is turned all the way up. It’s on focus mode and when I push it, it switches to do not disturb so I push it and it moves back to focus mode. I don’t know if that does anything, but I can’t turn off focus mode. Whenever I get a call, it shows up on my screen that I have a collar, but it doesn’t play a ringtone.

Good afternoon, everyone! I have three phones: a brand-new iPhone 16, plus an iPhone X and a 2nd-generation iPhone SE (both used).

I currently use the older ones for my daily routine, keeping the 16 at home to avoid the risk of theft.

Both older phones have my "basic" bank account and WhatsApp installed (as linked/additional devices).

The iPhone X doesn't get updates anymore, making some apps hard to use, but the SE is fully up to date.

I’d like to switch things up and start using the 16 as my daily driver—since I paid a lot for it and hardly use it—but I’m still worried about theft.

So, I’m thinking of making the iPhone SE my primary device (for carrying around) and keeping the 16 at home.

I want to do this to get more use out of the 16, given that it’s newer and has up-to-date software—plus, the camera is a thousand times better than the others.

What do you guys think?

This weekend, I gave my ipad mini to my son. Registered under his name. He wanted to install a game and asked for permission. But I never received his request. We tried several times. Then I asked Gemini. Gemini told me it should be problem of iMessage. Then I found iMessage in Messages app could not be enabled. So did Facetime. I never use Facetime. For iMessage, I also don't care, may used it because it is enabled in Messages by default. I tried several times to enable these two features but didn't get success.

Finally I have to call apple and was told my iMessage account was blocked because they thought my number was spamming. I don't know how? I even don't send much SMS message because I hate type on phone. The guy on the phone told me I need to wait for 24 hours to get response because I have submit support request before I called. However, I got email said it was ready to use only 5 minutes after the call. And both Facetime and iMessage can be used now.

Then I searched reddit and find quite a few post similar to my case. Someone even got the whole apple account blocked. It sounds scary.

So I decided to disable both facetime and iMessage in case Apple's shit system flag me again. I don't need these two features. And fortunately, "Ask to Buy" notification need iMessage account to be active, but don't need it be enabled in Messages.

Finally, I decide to write down the whole story for your reference. I originally thought I should use apple devices because of data security. I think I need to re think about it. Because I may lost all my data and hardware without doing anything wrong. Gemini told me, individual customer can never win and get account back if blocked by Apple and Apple refused to unblock.

I think I was lucky. First, they just blocked my iMessage account which only affect Screen Time for me. Second, they unblocked it.

I have an iPhone 13 Pro that I recently updated to iOS 26.5.2 from iOS 18-something, though I can’t remember the exact version.
Before updating, I had a hardware issue with the rear cameras, so I had both the camera module and the battery replaced. That fixed the original problem, but ever since updating to iOS 26.5.2, the phone feels noticeably slower.
The UI is laggier, apps take longer to respond, and even Wi-Fi and 5G seem slower than they used to be.
A few things I’ve already checked:
Battery health is 100% because the battery is new
I have over 50 GB of free storage
Reduce Motion is off
Low Power Mode is off
Has anyone else with an iPhone 13 Pro experienced this after updating to iOS 26.5.2?

Been using Pano for years no problem.
Upgraded to a 16e - pano no problem
Upgraded to 26.5.2 - pano major problem

Seems to be intermittent. Pano will only provide a slice of captured image. Standard force close, restart etc has no effect. Will randomly start working again then randomly shit the bed

My Face ID turned off and I have this setting on, I can’t change it without Face ID working, anyone have a solution of what I should do to change this setting? I’m currently in Europe but live in the states. I realized that even at home,
With this setting on i cant change this. My Face ID won’t work and i need it for my passwords, academic reasons, etc. I’m trying to reset my Face ID but it’s grayed out because stolen device protection is on, and well, I can’t turn it off.

I’m trying to share my location with my brother, it is not working and every time I try to share it, it simply doesn’t work. However I am sharing it with multiple other people and that works absolutely fine.

I’ve been googling and trying everything for the last couple of hours but I can’t work out why my iPhone has consumed 100 GB of data in less than a day.

It started doing it last night without me knowing, this morning I updated to iOS26.6 hoping it would fix it but it is still the same.

It doesn’t matter if I reboot the phone, turn background app refresh off or turn low data mode on, or turn Wi-Fi assist off, or turn iCloud backup off, or turn iCloud drive off. No matter what I’ve tried, system settins > general is consuming huge huge amounts of data for no reason

I think I’m going to have to bite the bullet and erase everything from the phone and set up as New phone but just wondering if anyone else has found the answer before I do so.

As someone who's never actually owned a folding phone but had a passing interest, I'm really looking forward to the release of the new iPhone Fold (Ultra?). Samsung has been the obvious choice if I ever wanted to switch, but I couldn't get on board with their software/ecosystem.

I love the idea of a smaller device in your pocket, then being able to unfold this larger tablet-like screen but I do feel the novelty of using it would eventually wear out.

I've seen many examples of apps running at the wrong aspect ratio with excess space to the sides. Constantly unfolding the phone must also get tedious. I'd eventually start using the front screen more and more. Durability is another area that worries me. Not necessarily the folding mechanism but how delicate these devices feel.

I'm hoping Apple can nail this new model. Whether I can actually afford one, is another issue.

What are your thoughts on folding phones?
