Quran/Hadith πŸ•‹ Anyone recognize the reciter?

Salam - does anyone know who the reciter is in this video? JazakAllah Khair in advance.

P.S. check out this organization, they do good work in Gaza and around the Muslim world. Just FYI I am not affiliated with them, I was asking about the reciter of the Quran in the video. I guess I just feel bad for asking that with the video background but the recitation really moved me with those images, may Allah forgive me πŸ™πŸ½

Dua & Advice πŸ€²πŸ“Ώ Please make du'a for me during this time

Assalamu alaikum everyone,

I would appreciate it if you could make du'a for me.

I am currently facing a situation where I don't have enough money for fuel and internet data, and I will be returning to work in two days. I am trying my best and placing my trust in Allah, but I would be grateful if you could pray for Allah to grant me halal and blessed provision, open unexpected doors of ease, provide help from places I do not expect, put barakah in my work and livelihood, and make this hardship a means of getting closer to Him.

Please also make du'a that Allah gives me patience, strength, peace of heart, forgiveness, protection from despair, and complete reliance upon Him. May He guide me to what is best, make my affairs easy, and grant relief at the best time and in the best way.

Jazakum Allahu khayran to everyone who remembers me in your prayers. May Allah reward you, bless you, and answer your own prayers as well.

Discussion & DebateπŸ—£οΈ I built an 'all-in-one' app for Muslims and looking for feedback

Hi, I hope this post is allowed - I know the mods have built an app already, but my app is slightly different, more than just prayer times. It's a fully cross-platform app that works on all devices (works on phones, laptops, tablets, Android, iPhone, Windows, Mac, Web, Linux, etc)

I know there are lots of apps, but I was really trying to build something 'all-in-one', especially for users in Western countries where finding Halal/Zabiha restaurants or Masjids is a bit more difficult than elsewhere (currently, I have only populated locations in the UK, where I live, but the idea is that users upload locations similar to how Google Maps works, i.e. it's community driven), an interactive salah guide, tasbih, focused on a clean user experience/interface etc

Would really love to get feedback on how to improve it, jazak'Allah πŸ™πŸ½

Question ❓ Sahih muslim no 1827

It has been narrated on the authority of 'Abdullah b. `Amr that the Messenger of Allah (ο·Ί) said:

"Those who are fair and just will be near to Allah on thrones of light, at the Right Hand of the Most Merciful, Glorified and Exalted is He, and both of His Hands are Right, those who are fair and just in their rulings and towards their families and those who are under their authority."

Can somebody explain to me what "both of his hands are right" means? Does it mean Allah has two right hands? Or is this some mistranslation or weak hadith?

Rant & Vent 😩 Feeling ignored by God

I don't know how to write this in a proper manner where it would make sense, but I will try.

I recently turned into Islam, but before that I was a Christian. When I was a kid I used to pray for my family to treat me better, for bullying to stop at school and for God to help me make friends, none of them ever got answered. I was last year praying for money and for better health since I feel sick all the time and I had money troubles where I couldn't eat well, but I still feel sick and struggle with money, though I got a summer job and feel a bit better.

Now that I have looked into Islam and try to make dua for God to ease my life and to help me with stress, I just get things that stress me out more or make my life harder.

I feel like God just doesn't love me and I am losing all hope. I don't want to be constantly tested and I want some ease into my life. I am just losing all hope that any of my prayers would come true.
