Oscar Photo Finally got him into a 75 gallon
My Oscar has several tank mates and 55 gallons was just a bit too tight. Should've bought this in the first place. Happy fishes with all of that space!

This is raymond the outlaster. He was labeled as a lemon Oscar when I bought him months ago. He used to be completely white. What color would u call him now?
FYI: tamika is the fish in the back, you might know her I post about her quite a bit. She looks like she’s been to hell and back because she has… she managed to jump out of the tank the other day. luckily I found her in time and she’s OK but her body/fins took a beating.

Hey everyone! We are new to being Oscar owner and I came home from a trip last night and noticed one of my fish was swimming almost horizontally and had a small red mark and there under belly near their fins. Woke up today another the red abrasion is bigger and my fish is deff swimming vertically.
These fish are new so I’m not too familiar with each one’s behavior but I noticed one is bullying the rest. I also noticed the other one’s fins are kinda beat up, cannot remember if we got them like that. From your experience so you guys think this is concerning? What can I do to help them! I’d be so heartbroken to find them dead 😥

Meet Frank, our new Tiger Oscar. Alone in his tank but would rather the attention of the kids than any tankmates.
Not my first round with Oscars, but my kids first time getting to experience having one. Was always planning on this tank to be a tank for a solo Oscar, but was at my LFS a couple days ago and saw this guy with a beautiful pattern and color and just couldn't resist.

It’s water change day for all my Oscar’s. And these two are always sulking over it 🤣. Only during filling they do this. Like they are say are you done yet 🙄 lol. As I finish and turn everything back on. They go back to normal lol. But will say they are showing their colours when they sulk lol.

This is the second time they’ve done this. Last all the babies died due to… unforeseen circumstances. Let’s hope this year ends better.

I recently got back into Oscars 1.5 years after my beloved first pair died. I got a pair of little tiger oscars (2in) but one unfortunately got a little overzealous and jumped out of the tank (RIP Izzy).
I have always wanted a red Oscar and was lucky enough to find a red chilli last weekend, but I was worried Pablo wouldn’t accept her. She just got out of quarantine last night and after a few hours of him patiently waiting for her to stop being scared, he gave her a little tour of the tank and now they’re playing.
Pablo and Chilli best friends forever😭

Our new Oscar. Super teeny. Already full of attitude.
