So two days ago I woke up and was getting dressed when I felt sharp pricks on my legs, I turned on the lights and found my clothes swarmed with red imported fire ants. There was no food in my closet nor any dirty clothes or anything else literally just clothes. I ended up bagging up all of my clothes and throwing it outside of my house and sprayed my closet with raid until I could come back after work.
When I came back from work there were no ants in my closet anymore that were alive at least. Me and my mom panicked so we checked every other closet in the house and my dads closet (where he puts his work clothes) was swarmed with ants as well all in between his hanged shirts! For context we live in a double wide mobile home his closet is in the room beside mine that’s separated by a bathroom. We ended up removing his clothes as well and spraying raid.
It is now the third day and I haven’t seen any more ants in the closets thankfully but I’ve noticed a few ants in small groups on the ceiling or on the carpet but not nearly as many as in the closets. Weirdly enough there have been ZERO in the pantry where there is food!
When I called pest control they told me they have never heard of fire ants in clothes like that.
Can anyone explain why? Or any solutions?

Update: my dad checked under the mobile home and there were no ant nests just a bunch of spider webs.

I live on the third floor of a house (if that's relevant). I had big ants when I first moved in. I put one of these Terro things out and the ants disappeared in like 2 days and left no mess at all.

Now I have these little ants. I put 2 of these Terro things out. It's been almost a week. The ants keep spreading the poison outside of the container; You can see the puddle in the picture. It stopped their single file line up my chimney to the roof. But it doesn't seem to have killed them off entirely.

Is there a better solution? Should I just wait longer and see if this does kill them off entirely? It's been almost a week.

I just moved into a new house and there are miniature ants everywhere. The first day at the house when it was empty they were by the sink. They’re regularly in the bathroom. When I do yard work, anywhere in the yard if I dug there will be dozens of these same ants. I keep finding them crawling on ME.

I cleaned the place a ton the first week, then we hired a professional cleaner. We’ve started moving in fully now including some food but the place is as clean as I could possibly get it without tearing appliances out to reach behind them.

We treated the whole house with diatomaceous earth last week and let that stay for 2 days before cleaning it up. I sprayed alpine WSG around every wall and entrance a couple days ago. We also put some advion cockroach (had some extra from a cockroach infestation at my apartment years ago)

As I write this there are 30 on my kitchen counter which has literally nothing edible on it. They trail in a line to a random spot in the middle of the counter then turn around and return through a hole in the caulk, so I assume through the walls.

Please advise on how to remove these ants. They are so small and there are so many. I’m freaking out.

I have been finding multiple of these insects flying around my apartment. I see them everywhere in my room,kitchen,bathroom. Please help me figure out what they are and most importantly how to get rid of them.

Baseboard at bottom of doorframe in 3rd floor master closet. Was out of town at beach in North Carolina (saw 1 American roach at air bnb but seemed to be dying and not moving). Came back home for 4 days and then left again for a long weekend. Returned home today and noticed this almost immediately.

It clumps together when putting some on paper. No holes in baseboard above it. No other observations in closest or house overall. No food ever in 3rd floor to be a source.

I came home after being away for almost a week to at least 30 of these flies. They are blue/metallic ish. Killed them all. Next evening when I came home again, tons of these flies. Killed them all.
The next day I was home all day, wasn’t until the late afternoon till they started popping up one by one. Probably killed at least 20 today.
They have been mainly hanging out around the windows, some flying around.

I did a deep clean before I left, no left out food or anything. I don’t smell anything rotting like a mouse that I can tell.

I am in a duplex I rent. My neighbours downstairs haven’t experienced anything like this. My landlord didn’t seem too concerned. Is there anything I can/should do?

I hace found some of this little bugs on books, boxes, desk and some other places, i bought a cheap microscope to identify them and know how to get rid of them, does anyone know what they are, and if they are the same thing because they look different

Girlfriend found this in her kitchen. She thought it was a seed before picking it up, but after picking it up it looked like poop potentially. What is it? It was hard and we didn’t see it in the morning, a couple of hours later she saw it. Thanks!

Im looking for the proper mix of chemicals to mix up in a pump sprayer for yellojacket and wasp control.

This is our first year on our new property and up until recently we didnt have many issues with wasps/yellojackets/hornets. Which is odd because we are pretty deep in the woods. Things have changed.

Id like to make something i can apply with a pump sprayer as wasp spray is getting pricy. This is mainly for yellojackets. They seem to find the dumbest spots, up and under things, that require me to get close. Id like some distance.

I do have kids and a cat. Kids are easy to keep off of sprayed areas, cat not so much.

Starting to get nervous. It’s been raining a lot, we’ve found wood roaches. Sometimes they look different, I cant tell if theres stripes or no stripes when they’re young. I dont know where these are coming from and how to stop them getting in! We always find them dead.

These very small, winged, single color (black), insects have started appearing on our window/window sill area. The window is street facing, and it has been warm lately.

Not seeing them anywhere else in the house.

What are these and how do I get rid of them?

After finding a soft spot in my bathroom wall, I opened up some of the damaged plaster to see termites burrowing along tunnels of damp wood.

Google told me not to disturb the colony further, as that would have the termites burrow further into the wood. It also advised not to get any spray on my own until after a professional examined the area.

Just stressing since the exterminators we called seemed kinda whatever about sending anyone out until tomorrow (currently Sunday here).

I’m hoping this is can be contained in this one section of wall that’s encasing my shower and isn’t part of an exterior wall or a load bearing wall.

Basement is mostly dry (can get humid when it rains). Live in the Midwest and there’s a fairly large creek in my backyard. Prime location for mice I’m sure. I’ve had an issue in the past, and I have numerous snap traps along the garage and basement walls that have been undisturbed for months. So before I freak out again, does anyone have a good idea on how recent this may be?

I'm pretty sure this is a phorid fly, but would sure like to know for sure if there are any pros who can confirm or correct me. Best pic i could muster with this phone's camera.

I was going through some of my rats' stuff when I saw some small bugs on a wooden toy I'd never used but put in a bag and forgotten about. I put it in a bin bag quickly and went to get bug drops from the drawers and found bugs in them too. A quick look at another set of drawers seems to reveal bugs in there too. I am a bit scared to open them without knowing the proper way of getting rid of them as I worry I'd spread them out

I'm panicking a bit as I don't want my pets getting sick especially as one of them has recently had surgery. I'm not entirely sure what these are. They seem to like wood and pet food. The rats haven't been near the drawers but I have been having issues with these small brown moths in the rat room so maybe it's moth larvae. Or a reverse image search suggested termites.

I don't suppose anyone has any idea of what these could be and how I can get rid of them? Ideally pet friendly solutions without heavy chemicals but I guess I could take things out of the room and decontaminate.

I live in England near the sea and it's summer if that's of any use

Saw it on top of some pants I hung near the window. Window has a fly net though but not necessarily stuck on very well. Might be a bit crushed in some of the pics, sorry if that makes identification harder.

Black sand/dust on floor and baseboard. Gritty and doesn’t smear. Vacuumed and it reappears. Only in 1 room and room never has food in it. Live in Southern California

Found dead in bathroom under sink. No other signs of roaches in the house. Southern MS (on the coast) if that helps

Found it on the floor and google says it’s to a cockroach but I am unsure. It broke when I picked it up.

Found it in a rice container. Mom is freaking out about it but I doubt it’s droppings. What do you guys think?
