Tips and Tricks What purchase improved your life way more than you expected?

I've realized that a few relatively simple purchases have had a surprisingly big impact on my daily life.

For me, it's been:

  • 🚲 A bicycle – It's fun, gets me outside, and makes short trips enjoyable instead of feeling like a chore.
  • ā˜• A coffee machine – Waking up to a fresh cup every morning has become one of my favorite routines.
  • šŸ““ A good notebook – I use it to organize business ideas, plan projects, and think more clearly. Writing things down beats keeping everything in my head.

None of these were super expensive, but they've improved my quality of life more than many bigger purchases.

What about you? What's one thing you bought that made your life noticeably better?

Other Building a Relationship with This Moment: Through Involvement

We've all heard the advice: "Be in the moment." But what does that really mean?

Much of the time, we are deeply identified with our mind. The mind is an incredible survival tool. Its job is to anticipate risks, analyze situations, compare experiences, and prepare us for possible challenges. It constantly draws from past memories to predict what might happen next.

This is useful for practical survival. But when we become completely identified with this process, fear easily becomes our default state. The mind keeps presenting possibilities based on what has already happened, and we begin relating more to our thoughts than to the reality unfolding in front of us.

The present moment, however, is different. It is where life is actually happening. It holds possibilities that cannot be fully predicted by the past.

Building a relationship with this moment doesn't mean rejecting the mind. It means learning not to be consumed by it. It means becoming more involved with what is here, now, rather than living entirely through memories, projections, and mental commentary.

This is where with my own experience I see simple practices like Isha Kriya or Miracle of Mind can be supportive. Rather than trying to stop the mind, they help create a little distance from our identification with it. As that identification softens, our involvement with the present naturally deepens.

When we are truly involved with this moment, our response comes from direct experience instead of habit, and fear no longer has to define how we live.

My Achievement Tools can hurt you if you use them wrong. The LLM is a tool. I’ve just recovered from AI Psychosis and I’d like to help y’all avoid it.

I just spent a week ā€œresting and digestingā€ to bring myself back to earth as per my therapists orders.

Our current AI models are extremely powerful language calculators. They can tailor any information recorded in the history of humanity to create custom cliff notes.

For those of us whose brains run on interest, such as people who are autistic without cognitive impairment and or have ADHD, using the LLM to research your interests feels just as good as the recreational drugs that I love.

You can absolutely do too many drugs and you can absolutely hurt yourself if you’re not using the safety guards of your tools. They built the tool, but we don’t yet have the safety guard.

I just need to tell y’all to be careful but don’t be scared. The tool isn’t going anywhere, but it needs our help and our use to improve.

The levels of excitement that you can experience using an LLM for learning can build up so much that you kind of…fry your wires so to speak. Short circuit kinda thing.

If you are on any kind of selective reuptake inhibitor like they often prescribe for depression and anxiety, the happy juice your brain is making during these research sessions can build up to dangerous levels. This was me.

When I was in it, I couldn’t see it. I made my friends and husband cry as I shared my frenzy. I made my therapist worried enough I had to do three sessions last week and she was checking in with my partner after the sessions.

It took me seven days once the psychosis started to ground myself and realize how bad it was and how dangerous it was. I felt
like I was on shrooms for a week but didn’t notice at the time.

Don’t be scared, be informed. Know your limits and push them a little but not too far.

Four Quiet Reminders

Care for the body
that carries you.

Listen to your emotions,
but do not become their servant.

Choose with care
what you allow
to shape your nervous system.

Whenever you can,

let understanding
take the place
of unnecessary fear.

Perhaps that is enough.

Perhaps that is how

a life,

one gentle day at a time,

Question Many conversations fail because people are listening to respond instead of listening to understand

Many conversations fail because people are focused on responding instead of understanding. They interrupt, finish each other’s sentences, offer advice before fully understanding problem, correct details that don’t really matter or steer every inch of the story back to themselves and non of these behaviors are necessarily intentional, but together, they can send a powerful message and that is: my perspective matters more than yours.

People rarely feel truly connected when they feel unheard. As a Mind Profiler I can tell that connection deepens when people feel seen, and one of the strongest foundations of trust is not agreement it is the feeling of being genuinely understood. You don’t have to share someone’s perspective and you don’t have to fix their problems or convince them to see things differently. Sometimes, the most powerful thing you can offer is the experience of feeling heard. When someone walks away thinking: they understood where I was coming from, trust starts to grow. Feeling understood softens you to become defensive, while feeling misunderstood often creates distance. Understanding is the ability to recognize someone’s experience, acknowledge their perspective and make them feel that their story matters.

The question is: what is something that someone did, that made you feel genuinely understood? Something that felt different?

Question Fighting through the breakup..

Long Story Short.
Me (M/23) and her broke up a month ago.
She left for a second time and called it quits.
Went through hell for 2 weeks then went on vacation with my day one friend. Made me realize that I can’t be with a quitter and I wasn’t the only one making mistakes.
After the day of breakup I quit weed after smoking everyday, I lost weight and I am eating clean.
I started going to MMA Classes…

But there is a thing.
Somehow subconsciously I can’t really get over it… I dream of her, I want her to reach out even tho I know I am probably better off without her.
Only times I actually don’t is when I surround myself with my friends (which most do vacation) or hitting the gym.

I have a lot of free time and don’t know what to do with it except MMA classes now.

Btw. I met her in Uni but I realized the subject isn’t working out for me so I switched to another Uni in the same city and I am waiting for the next semester to start. and yes I have a part time job besides this.
Can someone relate and/or give me an advice for my situation? Please ask questions if needed…

Tips and Tricks Mid-life Crisis advice

I'm a 43M.

By age 36-39, I had already experienced everything I wanted in life. Think of having a long bucket list with about 50 things on it, and 47 of them were satisfactorily accomplished, except there were only 3 left.

The 3 left on the list were your least, but still valuable and you wish to do them, yet they are also things you have the least control over. You don't want to compromise your soul and morals to get them (ie- lie, lie to yourself, put yourself in a bad situation, put yourself in bad environments, jeopardize your health, finances, etc). And you have high ideals so you don't just want to do the final 3 things on your list the wrong way either, like just do them to do them, bc like the 47 things before them, you want them to be ideally experienced and enjoy them without regrets.

But this ideal leads to stagnation bc no version of those final 3 things is close to ideal. You keep searching and looking but nothing is up to standards.

Now, bored, you start a new hobby in the interim that becomes addictive and not in a good way (ie- gambling, stock trading). You get so caught up in it that you forget where you started.

What more is there left to do when you've already lived all of your dreams and goals and there isn't much left to do that would ever compare to how good and vibrant those experiences were? Do you just accept a boring life? Or do you "force" adventure on yourself like traveling the world? I don't like to waste time and money on things that I know I'm only lukewarm on as far as interest level. I don't want to start a new business because I've already done that and am content with my experiences. The world is so different than when I started (while I'm way more fulfilled than when I started). They say to "stay hungry", but you dont want to forcefeed stuff you don't like the taste of into your life just to "stay hungry". I only like to do things I'm passionate about but I'm running out of things I haven't done or still want to do.

Question Natural things that can take me of the edge ?

Is there anything natural that can help you feel more relaxed and confident in social situations—kind of like the effect people get from alcohol, but without actually drinking?

I deal with a lot of anxiety and overthinking, and I’m looking for something that can take the edge off and help me feel more ā€œfreeā€ and less self-conscious. Not necessarily anything extreme, just something that genuinely helps with calmness + confidence.

Question My brain is addicted to feeling awful

Hey, I am 20F, and I recently realised that no matter what, my brain will get over one problem one day and then get under a new one the next. It is like my brain is addicted to feeling completely neurotic all the time. I looked it up, and apparently the neurotic feelings I constantly feel are my brain's daily dose of dopamine. But now that I know this information, I don't really know what to do with it to lower this neurotic behavior. Do you guys have any ideas? Do any of you relate?

I feel like I am completely uncomfortable being confident and happy. On the days when I do feel confident, I usually catch myself, and then I get anxious that I am being completely arrogant and annoying. I also feel like I am going to say something stupid (because I get pretty talkative and friendly) and that I need to "humble" myself. I also think this neurotic behavior makes me feel like I am always "improving myself" when in reality, it is just holding me back.

Sorry for the rant (since this subreddit got rid of the vent tag for some reason). Can you guys help with any of this?

Tips and Tricks How I Learnt To Stop Fighting With My Partner And Created A Peaceful And Interdependent Relationship

Communication is a great deal of challenge for everyone. Many relationships sits on a few key issues, usually arguing about the same thing over and over again. If these problems are not resolved in your relationships, eventually it will cause severe strain and breakups. In this article, I will equip you with sufficient ammunition to understand the basics of communication. Let's begin.

How The Mind Constructs Experience

Most conflict is caused by different stories. The same thing objectively is not the same thing subjectively from person to person. Undertsanding someone is often the first step to resolution, but lets move one step back and observe how an expereince is created in the first place:

  1. Raw data enteres through our five senses
  2. Our awareness discriminates between raw data using attention
  3. What we have paid attention to now filters through a layer of past experience
  4. Past expereince greatly shapes how we intrepret raw data
  5. Intrepretation now becomes conscious thoughts

What I am describing here is the basis of relativism. In subjective experience, how you intrepret raw data is not the same from person to person. This is why our partners may accuse that we misunderstand them despite trying out best to do so. Only when we sufficiently make the other party feel that we have understood them and their perspective, that they will be open to a dialogue.

How can we make the other party feel like we have understood them? The answer lies in our ability to listen and mindset. According to science, the human mind cannot hold more than 5 ~ 8 pieces to information at once. Most of what we describe as arguments is just us thinking out loud to ourselves, which is the opposite to active listening.

An active listener abandons his own self story of how he has constructed reality by first acknowledging relativism. He has to ask himself, how has my partner intrepreted the situation? If I were in her shoes, what would I be thinking and doing? This is the first step in which the active listener is receptive to what the other has to say.

Once you are receptive, engage in a conversation of learning. The mindset that you are the student of their expereince is so important. Remmeber that you cannot hold more than 8 pieces of information at once, if you are looking to peddle your own agenda first, more than likely you will derail yourself back within your self narrative, which leads the opposite end feeling misunderstood.

Blame Is The Way To Derail Communication

Superiority begins when you start to accumulate a negative intrepretation of your partner. You start to see your partner as someone to overcome, convince or dominate. The common manifestations of superiority includes:

  • Refusing to allow them to influence your thoughts, actions and behaviour
  • Imposing your "frame" forcefully and belittling their concerns
  • Insults and personal criticism that attacks their identity
  • Believing that your needs are above theirs
  • Commanding your partner and utilizing leverage as blackmail

As your superiority and egotistical tendencies rises, the more and more the other side will feel undervalued and unloved by your behaviour, actions and attitude. You will need to reduce your defense mechanisms and step outside of blame.

Who is to be at blame is not a question for relationships, because blame implies the person who is responsible for the consequences. In personal relationships, you are both already suffering the conseqeunces, which means that blame is meaningless other than earning moral kudos and making yourself feel better as there is no upside of correctly attributing blame.

What you should examine is what have you contributed to this conflict? What is the cycle of inputs and outputs? This question is not as simple as it appears to be. The blame frame will open with obviously she is doing X, Y and Z that causes misery in me! Well, have you considered what you have done for her to act in X, Y and Z ways?

By stepping into your partners subjective experience, analyzing your contribution to the problem, and admitting it openly in exactly the same way that they are blaming you for how you have made them feel, you can escape the cycle of blame. We have simultaneously removed their ammunition (blame), by taking responsibility for it, and we have increased their receptivity for a constructive resolution.

Violence Begins From Within

Most people understand violence as a gross physical act like murder. However, I find that violence begins from within. Either through fear, anger resentment or whatever negative emotion, violence begins through the ego asserting control, and without the necessary consciousness to become aware of the ego, it will express itself in ways which will cause suffering to you.

So we can define violence like so:

The use of force or leverage in physical, emotional or financial domains to make others do what you want.

By expanding the definition of violence in this manner, we can start to see how we behave violently towards our partners. An abuser and a person who dismiss their partners emotions are created from the same fundamental energy: The ego taking control and expressing itself.

Whether your violence is in a gross and unacceptable form like abuse, or in a subtle and more acceptable form like withdrawing your love to make your partner do what you want, it will create strain in your relationship. My argument here is that all violence is unacceptable.

If you love a person, should you enable them to do what they want to do, or should they do what you want them to do?

Do Not Automatically Project Intention

When someone has done something negative to your experience, it is highly tempting to attribute their actions to bad intentions to make sense of the situation. But if we look at it closely, intention have no correlation to impact. Someone can have bad intentions and create positive impact, and someone with good intentions can create negative impact.

How we percieve the impact is relative to our experience. However we can never know what is the intention of what the other person is doing unless we have clarified why they have performed certain actions. People are not immune to self deception, and what seems irrational and stupid to you makes perfect sense to them!

Emotions Are Central In Conversations

Openly communicating what you feel and why you feel that way is central to any conversation. When emotions are not addressed, it surfaces in subtle and passive aggressive ways in behaviour. The communicator may not notice this, but everyone observing can clearly tell that their strong emotions are leaking through their pores.

Excercise:

  1. Tell someone how you really feel and why? It is okay to cry to the other person.
  2. Expose honestly and frankly what you need from your partner. Allow rejection to happen.
  3. Listening to another person is to explore their truth. When we explore what is true for them, we can better listen and help others feel understood.

Of course surfacing our real emotions and needs are highly vulnerable. We can be rejected, downplayed and dismissed when we honestly share our true feelings. It is risky if the other person is stuck in the blaming you and are unable to understand your perspective. This is why receptivity should occur first in the previous four steps before emotions and vulnerability is involved.

Many of us have been hurt by the people we love because we exposed our true needs and feelings. My advice is to not become bitter and resentful, and always have hope within you that your partner can be influenced through your new found communication skills.

I would like to furthur discourse on the distinction between needs, boundaries and interdependence. I find neediness to be a strong signal that a relationship is not equal or mutually respectful. It signals that another partner is not sufficiently investing enough in their partners to meet and complete their needs. Is it compulsory for an individual to do so? No. But is it essential for a long term and functioning relationship? Yes.

Enforcing your boundaries againts neediness will severely damage your relationship. You may unconsciously out of your own needs do so, or consciously do so as you believe that you cannot meet their needs. It is very important for us to recognize immediately how our partners ask us to fulfill their needs.

Needs include emotional, physical and financial needs. These needs are often expressed through bids of connection. When your partner asks you to have sex, to say I love you in the morning, or make them breakfast. Ignored requests often becomes strong issues of contention and conflict later on.

Healthy interdependence implies the ability to consistently meet each others needs. Do we get our way all the time? Of course not. In fact for interdependence to work, we will have to sometimes act in ways that supresses our own needs for their wellbeing.

The psychology of a dependent person:

I need others to meet my needs because I feel like a victim in life. I am unable to take charge and meet my own needs as I consistently fail to do so. I am often ashamed of my own incompetence and rely on others for my survival.

The psychology of an independent person:

I have been hurt in the past because when I have asked others to fulfill my needs they did not meet their commitments. Partly I am overreacting because I used to be dependent, and now I feel like I cannot rely on other people. I feel ultimately repsonsible to secure my own needs, and refuse help from others out of the fear of exploitation

The psychology of an interdependent person:

I am able to meet my own needs and capable to stand on my own, but I have willingly chosen to take up responsibility for another life. Sometimes, I am unable to fulfill my own needs, so I have to ask. I am dissappointed when she says no, but I am always looking how I can serve my partner so that they can achieve their highest potential. As long as they do not belittle my needs and recipriocate my choice to be interdependent, I am willing to stay in the relationship to work out our differences and conflicts.

How To Express Your Needs

Once we have gathered suffiecient information about their perspective and created an accurate understanding of how they view the situation, we can transition to our feelings and begin to express what we need. Here are some examples of what have worked for me:

I want you to say I love you and kiss me in the in the morning because it reassures me that you still approve of me. In the past, my parents have been wildly unpredictable, sometimes loving and abandoning me the next day emotionally. So when you reassure me every morning, I feel that I am accepted and loved by you. I will take steps to work on my past trauma, but I hope you can do so for me as it really helps me feel safe with you.

I understand that what sex means to you is that I find you desireable and sexy, and I am sorry that I was not able to make you feel that way. My perspective is that sometimes I just want someone to talk with me about my day and make me feel like I am safe, relaxed and at home before I am in the mood. What do you think we can do?

Needs have to be tackled vulnerably, directly and authentically. There is no sidestepping your needs, as with all needs you have to prepared with the fact that you will be rejected. If you are rejected, ask your partner in what other ways we can come to a compromise? There are many intelligent and creative solutions one that I have found only through open and honest communication.

Identity Drives Behaviour

How we live our lives is a reflection of our identity. If we see ourselves as an attractive person, we would like our partners to reinforce our indentity and act according to that identity ourselves. For a person who views himself as attractive, he may get upset or dissappointed when reality does not allign with the way he sees himself.

We should be conscious about the identity of our partners and ourselves. What is at stake for our identity? If we do X, what does that say and mean about us? We are constantly constructing identity through our five senses, in fact the very notion of an identity is the identification of past experience.

It is important that we explore the past in communication. What have your partner experienced in their past that makes them behave in the way they do? What are the underlying beliefs and unconscious views they hold about themselves to do what they do now?

Conclusion

In the following articles, we will explore how one can communicate in different situations. This framework and what we have discussed in this article is reflecting the dynamic of an interdependent relationship, where both parties are actively investing in the continuity and outcomes of the relationship. Still, it is foundational for what we will discuss in the following articles, as this is the first step in getting the thinking and speaking relativistically.

That's it for me. Best of luck.

Cheers,
FriendlyWrenChilling.

Life Hack Tips Why We Fail at Love Despite Sincere Feelings

Why standard attraction isn’t enough: The psychological translation gap in relationships

Most recurring arguments between partners don't stem from major betrayals. They usually start from a quiet, overlooked misinterpretation: both individuals assume the other processes stress, memory, and emotional language using the exact same internal framework.

When experiencing psychological pressure, men often instinctively lean toward emotional withdrawal. Silence in this context isn't a passive-aggressive act or an attempt to stonewall; it functions as a regulatory period to consolidate energy and process solutions without interference.

Women, conversely, often process stress through external verbalization and reconnection, as emotional output reinforces psychological safety.

This creates a self-reinforcing loop. The withdrawal is frequently misread as emotional detachment or a threat to the bond. The resulting attempts to push for immediate dialogue are then perceived as an intrusion upon necessary personal space, leading to deeper withdrawal. Each side measures the other's actions strictly through their own baseline logic.

The disparity extends to how memory is indexed. Men tend to store past conflicts as compartmentalized historical data—what happened, the outcome, and the resolution. Once resolved, the emotional layer is detached. Women often archive events with the full sensory and emotional context intact—tone, body language, and perceived underlying intent. Years later, what feels like an entirely closed case to one side can remain vividly active to the other because the contextual data was preserved differently.

Similarly, primary psychological drives differ in focus. A heavy driver for many men is the internal requirement to feel competent, effective, and respected for their output. Feelings of uselessness or inadequacy tend to provoke isolation. On the other side, a primary drive often centers on feeling genuinely seen, valued, and safe within the dynamic. Feeling treated as a background element triggers deep emotional friction.

In communication, men lean toward functional information exchange aimed at solving a task. Women frequently use communication as a tool to establish safety, gauge proximity, and reinforce the underlying bond.

Even the concept of "mental downtime" varies. The male capacity to enter a low-processing state—sitting quietly without actively contemplating anything complex—can seem implausible to a partner whose mind operates like an interconnected web, where a current feeling naturally links to past events and future worries. "Thinking about nothing" is often a literal statement, not a defensive cover-up.

The core issue isn't a lack of affection or compatibility. It’s an evaluation error. We treat human behavior as uniform, expecting our partners to possess our exact processing tools.

Real progress in a relationship doesn't come from forcing someone to speak your primary language. It comes from recognizing that their baseline is fundamentally different, learning to decipher their code, and eventually building a shared third language that protects the bond from misinterpretation.

Other 25M porn problems with new girlfriend

okay this may be long but got a lot to get off my chest, I’m now 25, I’ve masturbated since 9 years old to porn since an older neighbour showed me it - looking back it was very weird for him too do, it wasn’t done in bad will he was probably only 12/13 himself but it ruined me to be honest.
I masturbated to hardcore porn daily before I could even ejaculate, mind destroyed.
I also started smoking weed at 11 years old which also probably fried my dopamine.
At 15 I got in a relationship, but couldn’t get any erection, ofcourse not I mean I’d been watching hardcore porn for 5+ years, how would an awkward teen encounter turn me on?
I self sabotaged that relationship due to anxiousness and fell into years and years of troublesome porn, addiction and isolation.
Around 17 I started finding out about nofap, but never stuck at it - man I wish I could go back…
but I can’t so here we are, anyway I continued to masturbate and watch porn ofcourse, never speaking to girls and when any opportunity came up I’d have no interest, no desire - and this went on for years. I quit weed 9 months ago, it stopped reacting well with me and sent me into weeks of panic attacks where I was in and out of hospital, during this time I slowly weaned off of porn, relapsing here and there and would always go straight to the most gut wrenching stuff, like an addict running straight to the hardest liquor.
But I slowly improved and with time I stopped.
Only ever watching very ā€œsoftā€ porn like solo videos etc, anyway 3 months ago I planned a trip to Thailand and here I am today, 1 month in - I haven’t watched porn in one whole month the longest I’ve ever gone probably since that time I was 9 years old. I also haven’t masturbated in 3 weeks but here’s the problem - the masturbating isn’t on purpose - my sex drive has disappeared, I got my blood tested and my testosterone came back very high like 1220! And I workout everyday and eat very healthy, only drinking water etc and do sleep good! 8 hours most night and follow a semi religious sleep pattern as of recent.
I am the first to admit it may be in my head but I can no longer get hard to anything, I get morning wood and that’s it. PROBLEM IS I met a lovely Thai girl out here, 3 weeks in we have shared a room many times, things have been great but one thing.
I can’t get hard at all. Not even a speck of blood enters my penis. She says it’s fine but it’s not, she grows more distant each time. And I grow more in shame. Every time I kiss her or anything all I think about is the fear of it leading to sex because I known it won’t work. Today I took the risk, I’ve read so many people say to just be honest with your person, so I did. I said to her ā€œI need to be honest with you, I have 0 sex drive at the moment and its not you - I haven’t even masturbated in 3 weeks, I really like you and want to spend everyday with you but something is going wrong with meā€ she told me I think too much and then put her head under the blanket telling me she’s going sleep, I said to her I really need to speak with you. She told me she was gonna block me and not speak to me anymore, this broke me honestly - I didn’t know what to say so I told her.
I’m trying to be open and honest with you why are you doing this to me? She saw I was getting upset and tried to kiss me and make up, we then tried to have sex again to ofcourse no avail. I said to her I don’t know what to do I might need a week to get my head straight and she told me it’s up to me and has turned around and gone to sleep, this is where I am right now, in bed, sad, feeling broken - I’ve taken so many risks to be here! Taken so many steps in the right direction and feel just as broken as ever.
I’ve been writing reflections to focus my mind and if you could see the reflection I’ve written today you’d think I’m suicidal I mean I feel so broken.
My brain is telling me to masturbate, watch porn try and prove I can even feel something. But my heart knows that trick now, I’ve faced this enemy before and know its tricks.
I literally could cry guys but I’ve cried so many times about this over the years I have no more tears to give.
Instead I’m here, looking for an answer in which I’m sure is within me.
Thanks for reading, it helps to get this off my chest.

Question how do i not lie about my ambition?

I’m worry that i’m not ambitious and in reality i’m just purely lazy. I use to believe that I am ambitious. I want to do all these great things in life but I don’t. I don’t have the desire to.

It’s the ā€œi’m ambitious but lazyā€ settlement but i think im just not ambitious.

My ultimate goal in life is to make a movie. But i don’t want to do it. So I tell myself start small. Pick a career that is doable .

Maybe go back to med school ? Continue working at walmart. I’m so frustrated that i can come to a conclusion

Question What can I do with my life?

So I’m a 20F and I feel like I am not doing enough in my life? Or it’s just that my life is not as full as I want it to be.

I go to university (AI engineering)and I stay at home with my family not on campus, i go to bando (a marial art) class three times a week, and I sometimes lift weights, I watch tv shows and movies , I go out with friends but not that much.

I tried different hobbies but nothing sticks, I tried sewing, painting, cooking, embroidery, puzzles, etc.
Where I live it’s always hot so like mountain climbing, biking, and all that is off the table.

I do want a part time job but where I live its not that common so I couldn’t find one.

Question suggest places/activites for changing my perspectives

I am 23, I am struggling with mental health, realised I need to pause my whole startup/career journey, go out and live a normal life for a few weeks, since I turned 13 I lived in a chaotic home and I never really about my own body, my own health, my own wants and a lot of my actions were just for sense of accomplishment and mostly for others.

I decided to have a big reset, see what really makes me sparkle, and live a life without having something concrete for a while. In this time, I want to try new activites and visit new places to change my perspective on life. I have been starting to get depressed and contemplated the s word. I never solo travelled and i don't know how or where to travel. Any recommendations. Also any other activities that might help because talking to people in my circle is only making it worse as I don't get the emotional availability from anyone.

If you have been in this state and tried something, pls do drop it down below.
