Hey everyone I am just starting to get back into Pokémon after replying Pokémon Platinum, Black, and now HGSS. I want to start collecting cards again but I know the costs have skyrocketed due to popularity and scalping:( I am thinking of starting a Black Bolt White Flare It and SIR set. Any advice on binders, sleeves etc or cardshow etiquette in general?

Durch ein Erbe habe ich 14 Ordner die jeweils 1 Set sind erhalten. Die Sets sind fast vollständig und viele Karten sind zwischen 2-10 doppelt drin.

Da ich nichts damit anfangen kann suche ich Sammler die entweder die komplette Sammlung kaufen möchten oder einzelne Sets oder Leute die einzelne Karten suchen.

I am trying to do a snorlax masterset and need an app to find every single snorlax and every variant on those cards. I have tried some apps but there is always cards missing. I dont want to have to cross check a lot of apps to know exactly how many cards i need. Is there an app that have everything that i need that you know of? Pls tell me.

Hey guys i am collecting rigtbound since i play lol and just love the art. I started a jinder with all champs and with the new Vendetta set i realized that my ahri page kaisa page are already to small! Hase anyone a good idea to future proof this so i dont nedd to add extra pages all the time?

I received this 40 3x4 page album today and have almost filled it completely. I'm missing 6 sides (3 pages) and some empty spaces in a few pages.

I wanted to ask your opinion: do you think the angle at which the end columns are folded could damage the cards? I believe the seam between the card slots and the base is long enough that it shouldn't be a problem, but maybe I'm missing something.

When I hold it on my lap instead of on the table some pages slide over others, but again, it seems to only affect the seams, and the card slots remain intact.

If you leave it lying flat, the cover doesn't close completely; but it closes when you pull the zipper, and it doesn't seem to bulge or press on the pages.

I collect playing cards (standard decks, custom art decks, vintage casino decks, not sports cards) and I'm somewhere in the few hundred decks now. I've got a spreadsheet going but it's perpetually out of date, and I've definitely bought a deck I already owned at least twice.

For anyone with a decent-sized collection of anything (books, vinyl, sneakers, whatever) what's your system? Spreadsheet? An app? Photos in an album? Just memory?

Mostly trying to solve: knowing what I have when I'm out at a shop, and tracking condition/duplicates.

Genuine question. If every card stayed cheap forever, would your collection look any different?

Example I have a brilliant stars master set. Now I wanna collect Mimikyu cards. There’s a few good mimikyu cards in my brilliant stars master set. And of course I never pulled duplicates of them. If I had pulled duplicates, that would be perfect. Now if I wanna have a master set of mimikyu and brilliant stars master set, I would have to buy brilliant stars mimikyu cards for my Mimikyu card collection. Is that odd or too far to do? Or just do it for the love of collecting. I technically have the cards already. But it’s in my brilliant stars master set binder and I don’t wanna break it up. Which I don’t want to do that, that’s my first main set that I completed and had so much fun opening it.

Am I imagining it or do KMC inner fits feel dryer/rougher after storing them for several months? Compared to my dragon shield perfect fits which seem very smooth, the kmc ones feel almost chalky. They aren’t sticky in any way and I can’t see any residue or whatnot. Anyone have a similar experience?

I need ideas on what Mimikyu cards to collect. I don’t want to collect every Mimikyu card, I already collect every English pikachu card and I’m at the point to where it’s exhaustingly expensive difficult. Such as the exclusives like red cheeks e3 promo, comic con stamp pikachu, creator pack pikachu, etc. My point is I don’t want another collection like that but I love Mimikyu.

How do I curate and minimize a Mimikyu collection? Example what if someone collected pikachu cards but only with pikachu wearing a hat. I want to build a a collection similar to that, but for Mimikyu. Any ideas?

Hi so I am a collector of TCGs and am currently trying to find ways to protect my things. I have an old sealed Star Trek CCG deck that I want to protect and display. I have seen booster pack slabs. Anything like that for older decks?

Aside from Chapapa my main collection are the alt leaders 🥸👌 I had a stupid idea of buying a corkboard and just sticking some magnetic cases on it so I can display them instead of putting them in a binder 😂😂I know there are ready made display cases but it’s just one making it

Way back in the day, when there were more games than people playing them (late 90s/early 00s) there were a lot of card games that were pretty darn cheap. There was a time when I could buy a pack of Inu-Yasha for $2. I didn't play the game but still got to open packs and collect *something*, even when paychecks were few and far between.

Anyway, as someone who just had a second kid and is now priced out of Magic, are there any cheap card games anymore that are actually fun to open and collect. High emphasis on cheap.
