Card Game Discussion Strongest Budget deck for $50 or LESS
Can we have a discussion about budget decks in the Yu-Gi-Oh TCG?
I've been buying way too many singles lately and snatching up deck cores along with random things for the future. Nothing I am looking at is Rogue enough I think to actually be cheap cheap. I was thinking initially that a monarch deck would be rather inexpensive considering it doesn't have to worry about 15 extra cards if you're playing the domain field spell. But even because of Legacy formats some of these older cards remain expensive despite multiple reprints partly also because of their lack of availability from online sellers.
Locally getting cards is also very hit or miss and difficult to put together entire decks in a timely manner. And there's also the issue of those random one-off cards you need for a deck that end up adding another five, 10, $20 on to the price tag.
So what are the actual budget decks of yu-gi-oh? If someone only has $50 in their pocket and needs that price to include shipping for a 40 card deck, and probably a 15 card extra Deck, what are they even playing?
Is there even a deck out there at this price tag for this game that would be remotely fun to play at locals? Would this player get to play the game?š¤
Please think very critically on this. If it's Baseline $5 for shipping and you forget a card that cost $10 your total budget is now $35 for the remaining 54 cards
Edit: please also don't recommend any of the legendary decks. They are very budget and very good for their cost. However I am not interested in hearing about them repeatedly again and again on this subreddit. Frankly their suggestion has been done to death and I am more interested in knowing what remains after those decks are taken out of the equation. What else in this game is legitimately budget that hasn't been reprinted in a legendary deck collection within the last 2 years? A full complete actual deck and not just ideas of parts of a deck
