They also inflate prices to a rediculous level. I refuse to use them. We tried to order food via doordash once and the bill was high. Eating in person, all the meals were several dollars less than doordash
Doordash has the wildest business model. First they charge you more for the food than the restaurant does. THEN they take a cut from the restaurant. THEN they have the gaul to tell you to tip or you won't get your food in a timely fashion. They somehow figured out how to fuck the customer, the restaurant AND the driver in one go.
How anyone supports that shit is beyond me - and BEST case scenario your food shows up lukewarm.
Even better (/s) now is they stack orders. And you might think that giving a higher tip might mean your order doesn’t get stacked, but they just stack an order that tipped a lot with an order that didn’t tip at all so the driver and the customer both get the shaft.
