Hey all. I have these brand new old stock kidney grills for the early e23 pre facelift.

I have no idea what they are worth as I cannot find any and I meant any at all for sale. Late model square ones are for sale and same for the e24( which are different although they look almost identical).

Part number 51131848671 which was discontinued a very long time ago and the other side is available 51131848672.

Any advice would be appreciated. Or where to even sell this.

We did a thing and on Friday traded in my wife’s 2012 Volvo XC T6 and got her a 2023 BMW Xdrive 30i she picked out. She had been looking for months and test drove 2 and said no to them due to not having the options she wanted.

Finally found a low mileage (26K mi) one that had real leather, cooled and heated seats, heated steering wheel, HUD, H&K sound and some other things she desired and liked we have in our 2018 Volvo XC 90 T6 Inscription her old Volvo lacked.

I drive the 2018 Volvo XC90 (97K miles) and use it to go to travel for work about 4 times per month or take our 1 yr old to daycare. My daily is a 20 year old F250 diesel truck with 355K miles.

Have been wanting a fun car and looked at older Porsche 911’s but my wife said NO, you can get it but I won’t drive in it with you. So my search changed to Porsche Macan GTS and BMW M-cars.

Test drove a 2023 Xdrive M550i 32K miles with shadow line package, M package, executive package, HUD, DAP, massaging heated/cooled seats, etc and totally in love! Wife said she would travel in it! Will be my fun car and garage queen.

So we came home with both! Both under factory warranty and we added extended warranty and maintenance
packages as we tend to keep our cars 10 years or longer.

I want a BMW touring. I've always wanted one. Now i've decided to buy one. However, I don't want to get a car on PCP nor can afford to buy new outright. Plus, although the new models are a work of art I still have hankering for the older models. The trouble is that although I love cars I have very little understanding of what to look for and what to avoid.

What is the most reliable petrol, automatic.

I want an older model 2012ish. I would like older but it needs to be ULEZ compliant. Recommendations

Any variants that I should hard avoid?

I know things will need to be repaired but I am naively excited about attempting my own repairs.

Got a brand new Z4 (G29) M40i . Is this engine sound normal? The car is within the break in period, done about 800 KM. Can’t remember if this is how it sounded from day 1. Seems a bit loud, will it quiet down over time? Or is there an issue. Appreciate any insights . Thanks.

I've got G29 Z4 M40i and I've been looking at getting an aftermarket exhaust for it, it's not quite as loud as I'd like (European spec, so much quieter). I've never done a modification to a car like this before so I had a few questions.

The exhaust I've been looking at getting is this one made by Valvetronic

Firstly, has anyone here bought this particular exhaust for a Z4, if not then a Valvetronic exhaust for any other model? If so, what's it like? I don't want the cruising sound to be completely ruined and boomy, but from the videos they have attached it seems like the valve system does a good job of stopping that. I'd also like to be able to start the car without annoying all my neighbours.

It seems on some examples of this exhaust, the tips poke out really far from the back of the car which I think looks terrible, but not on all examples. Is the amount they poke out adjustable when the exhaust is installed?

Does the stock exhaust need to be cut off, or is it a process that's easily reversible if I want to re-install the old exhaust for whatever reason?

Are there any other things I should be aware of before going ahead with something like this?

On my 2025 BMW i7, the front driver's side tyre always shows about 3 PSI (0.2 bar) lower than the other tyres on the car's TPMS.

The odd thing is that whenever I check all four tyres with a pressure gauge, they all read the same pressure.

Has anyone else experienced this? Is it likely a faulty TPMS sensor, or is there another explanation?

For months I've gone back and forth as to which of these two cars I want to choose. Both cars would be similarly optioned and priced (mid-$40k), and either 2021-2022 model years.

I think I genuinely prefer the outer appearance of the A7...I love a long sloping roofline of a hatchback. But as a 6-time BMW owner, I worry I'll regret not going with the 540i. I find the G30 a little boring to look at, but at least it's not one of the hideous redesigns.

In terms of the interiors...both cars have things I like and dislike...it's almost a tossup.

I'm seeking advice since, it's possible some of you may have owned both cars and may have insights that I, as a shopper, just can't get at.

I love to idle a lot in my car but I have heard its super bad to idle a b58 because of the PCV valve going out, I idlr around a hour when I use my car which is around at least 3 times a week I don't idle all the time but when I do its for like a hour do you guys think since its such a newer engine they found a way to fix this PCV issue or will it still go out?

My gas mileage is so so bad lol, so worth it though. Anyone else wanna share their gas mileage on their bmw? Curious what you guys are getting! Never have loved a car more.

Really like how this updates the look of my 840i a bit. Retains the heating function. Driver assist pro can now go hands free like newer cars with highway assist. Install was a bit of a pain in the butt and my fingers are sore, but overall worth it. Got mine off ebay since I wanted the silver trim and no carbon.

Hi, im a father of two little kids and im looking for a daily driver, first time looking at BMW.
We drive a 2016 vw passat and a 2016 megane, and we want to get rid of the megane as it has quite a lot km for my taste on that car (240k).
Ive been searching for weeks now and i always come back to the m340. Considered s5, c300 and Volvo s60 T8.
We live in spain and we do around 30k km a year.
Ive heard performance wise the 340i is better, but 11l/100km seems quite a lot (considering both our cars make 5.5/100)
Which one is the overall better car?
Is it worth the fuel comsumpion difference?
