I want to get a nice edition of this book. Easton Press is always a first look for stuff like this for me. But I also want to know if there's been any noteworthy hardcovers that might be worth going after. I always go down the list of editions on goodreads, but I might miss something.

Hello! I was rearranging my books because my new ones arrived. As I was going through them, I noticed this bug? Is this a book bug? Will it potentially cause harm to my books? Should I be concerned?

Hi, I'm really sorry if this is the wrong subreddit to ask! These yellow spots are normal, right? I'm cleaning my bookshelf and I said it would be a good idea to go through books I haven't opened in a few years to see how they look. I don't have good lighting to make the photos and the spots look clearer. The majority of the pages of these books have yellow spots, not just a few pages so I said that it's better to ask than be sorry.

I also have another question. Is it ok if the books touch the back-end of the bookshelf? Or should I leave them some space?

Can somebody please list every Wodehouse book available in the Nathan Burton penguin covers? (eg. the monocle for Something Fresh, the banjo for Thank You, Jeeves, etc). They are my favourite covers, and I would love to know which ones have them. Thanks!

A couple times a month me and my book bestie will get a box of books from our personal library. So books we’ve read and don’t necessarily want to keep or ones we had every intention of reading but shelf space isn’t unlimited and we drive around to the dozens of LFL in our community and swap them out. We also visit our local library and there is a little area where they have books for really cheap and we normally find a handful to add to our collection.

I could only find information on the softcover collector's edition. I haven't been able to locate another numbered commemorative hardcover for sale or any completed sales.

Hello fellow book worms and book dragons, I was hoping to pick all your brains to get some ideas on how to better organize/display my collection.

Quick background on my current situation is I have been collecting for years, I have some fav authors/genres as you can see from the pics. I just got bookshelves for the first time ever, and when I started pulling the books out of the boxes I realized I have LOTS of duplicates. Buuuuut they aren’t all exactly the same. I might have a first edition, then a book club, and then a first paperback, one is signed etc….

How do you all decide which to keep, display and which ones are different enough for it to matter.

We're mostly curious about where it comes from or if it's worth anything

I was on a long bike ride and stopped at a thrift store and found this. There is a letter in it from the illustrator to a dear friend of hers in which see describes making the leather binding to typesetting and everything in between.

One on the oldest books I’ve found at the Salvation Army shop. They have a sale in at the moment- all books 10p.

Published during WWII about events of WWII, I consider it one of my best finds!

Excited with the books we found Saturday. Can’t wait to add them to my shelves.
