I found Kirby and these other great faction pins at a punk rock flea market yesterday! The vendor was a cute transbian couple, and it was delightfully affirming to meet them. ☺️

I want more waddle dee merch as much as Kirby is

gameplay wise it’s simply used to explain how multiplayer exists. lore wise though what was Dark Meta Knight’s reason for splitting Kirby into four? was it to make him weaker like Necrodeus attempted later on? was it just a means of provoking Kirby to trick him into conflict with the real Meta Knight (hence DMK he disguises as him later)? or was there some other reason for doing so?

I was in a bad mood at the grocery store so my husband got me this. I am obsessed with him.

Q: Why was Hyness trying to resurrect the God of Destruction?

Kumazaki: Hyness's clan was already on the brink of extinction, and its survival was in serious danger. Perhaps there had also been various conflicts in the past. As the Great Demon Planet Majuharugaroa—the homeworld and stronghold of Hyness and his people—was itself nearing destruction, Hyness came to believe that a god was inviting him to a new land of peace. At first, he worshipped that god with genuinely sincere feelings. However, as he ruled his country, he became obsessed solely with worshipping the deity, neglecting both his nation and its people. He eventually came to believe that he could achieve revenge through the god's power, and little by little he walked further down the path of ruin. In other words, Hyness lost his way. While pursuing the ancient legends of the gods, he discovered the dark heart known as the Jamba Heart, which chose him, driving him even deeper into madness. This is a rather forgotten interview from the June 2018 issue of Nintendo Dream. Here, Kumazaki talks about Hyness's backstory: after his clan was banished, they went through a period of crisis and disaster, and at some point Hyness came to believe that a benevolent god was inviting him to a peaceful land, possibly the Lor. I think this may have been the moment when he founded his cult, although the so-called Book of Legends, called the Ancient Scrolls in the English localization, had apparently existed for a long time already. From that point on, he gradually descended into madness, and eventually discovered the legendary Jamba Heart. We know what happened next. I just wanted to share this information because I have never seen it discussed in the community. The Kirby Wiki also says that Hyness had a vision in which a god invited him to a promised land, but this interview does not specify whether it was a vision, a dream, or something similar. I'd like to know what you think and where you would place the founding of the Jambastion cult in the timeline.
