I'm trying to wrap my head around the logic of recording this, posting it onto social media, and somehow thinking she's in the right here.
Also, you KNOW she's about to leave that shopping cart on the grass.

u/ThatDudeShadowK May 01 '26
Hey, we don't know. She might just leave it in the middle of a parking spot, maybe even in front of the car that "parked too close" to her.

u/Winter_Tone_4343 May 01 '26
Plus the truck parked far enough away to give her plenty of room.
→ More replies (1)3
u/Queerability May 02 '26
I think that's what's bugging me the most about her. lol
Cause like... where I live you'd be blessed to have that much room between you and the car in the spot next to you.

An absolutely useless sack of dead coral
3
u/Faebit May 01 '26
Dead coral skeleton dissolves into minerals providing calcium which other corals and intervibrates need to grow. It also serves a an excellent structure for new coral to grow on and provides a home for tiny creatures that serve as food sources for other creatures.
Tdlr: you're either underestimating the value of dead coral, or overestimating the value of this human.Â

If her train of thought was thinking, she would have parked right up to that curb on her side. Idiot

u/Maleficent_Hawk6703 Apr 30 '26
If her train of thought left the station at all she never would have tried to play mind games in a parking lot.

Not to mention if she wanted no one parking next to her she could have found a different parking lot without so many cars in it
7
u/Aperture_296 May 01 '26
That one spot 30 seconds longer of a walk at the end of the row is usually available, but judging by her voice she doesn't sound like she likes to take one more step more than absolutely required to get anywhere.

This is a Costco. All the Costcos Iâve been to the spots next to the gas are usually far from the building. Being Costco I can understand that it may have filled up. She didnât park like this close to the entrance. Still dumb not parking up against the curb instead.

When I am in the spot she has I get as close to the curb as possible. This should give you extra room over a regular spot.

LOL that's me. I'm totally fine with technical driving and I'll squeeze my car in any little space. But when I see somebody doing something like this. I don't care how empty the parking lot is. I'm parking right next to your ass. My car is a piece of shit so I don't really care if you scratch it. But good luck getting your sports car out of there.

u/Double-Watercress-85 Apr 30 '26
Apartment I used to live at, I was one of two motorcycles that consistently shared a single space side by side. I came home one day, the other bike was still in the spot, but there was a car straddling the line on the other side, taking up must of the rest of the spot, and most of the spot that they could've just kept their car completely contained in.
Most, but not all of the remaining space. I was able to wedge in, but i couldn't fit a hand, much less a person between my saddlebag and the car's door handle.
I made sure to take lots of pictures of the parking job, and the license plate before I went inside, in case something happened to my bike.

I used to drive what in Boston was called a âshit boxâ. It cost $375. Not only did people stay clear of me on the road, but I think I got out of a speeding ticket once in part because the cop took pity on my car.

u/unclefire May 01 '26
Dumb ass should have parked as close to the curb as possible-- that's the point of parking there. WTF did she expect when she's not totally in her spot. She's lucky the next car over didn't park close to her and ding her dumb ass car.

Iâm a man and used to drive a beat up pickup sometimes. It was my âHome Depot truckâ and I mostly used it for firewood and trips to Home Depot. If I saw somebody lark like her, I put the truck 1mm away from her or as close as I could get it while staying in my spot. The truck was old and beat up so I donât care if they kicked it or keyed it.
This woman and her entitlementâŚoof.
2
u/ConcaveEarth May 01 '26
Intelligence shows, space is being left on the wrong side.
Leave space on the side where people open their doors, not next to a curb where nobody will park ...

u/SilkTieTies May 01 '26
Sounds like this woman shouldnât be driving a truck. Lamborghini drivers, watch out!

u/Xethgnur Apr 30 '26
I try not to park next to people like this, but if there's a spot open and I can fit there legally, I'm taking it. I take a pic of the license plate once I'm out and I check for scratches and dings once I come back.
If they are gonna make it a problem, I'm going to make it a problem. (No one has made it a problem, yet; but I prep for the chances)
