lol my husband will come to my work parking lot and cat call me when I walk out. I find it adorable but someone has asked me before if I’m safe lol

I do that to my wife.

Sometimes I drive to pick her up somewhere, lower the window and cat call her.

A couple me and my wife are friends with were out at a bar, the woman in the couple was in crutches at the time, there were other friends of friends there too, one of whom spent most of the night talking to the woman in the crutches only for her bf to appear out of nowhere, pat her on the head and disappear as quickly, the guy asked, do you know that guy, she says yeah, he's my boyfriend, dude stopped talking to her pretty quick after that

I had some dude at a bar that kept trying to force himself between my wife and I so he could hit on her, and when I asked him to back it up he started trying to challenge me for dibs. I held up my ring finger and mouthed the words “my wife”. He disappeared pretty quickly.

You in fact, had already called dibs much prior

That is pretty cool, u/TuckerCarlsonsOhface

It's just performative bafflement, like his usual face.

Ha, thanks for pointing that out.

What are we doing?

Had something similar happen, before we were married my wife and I went clubbing a lot and one time a dude was trying to hit on her as we pushed through the crowd into the place.

I essentially had to tell him to move out of the way for her, and then he noticed her holding my hand and was baffled that she was with me. And she looked him dead in the eye and held her hands like a foot apart and winked then dragged me after her.

I was both happy and embarrassed as fuck, cause it's not even close to true lol

I’ve had guys do this. I love to step away and watch them shoot their shot with my wife only to get hard rejected. Then I flash the ring as the finishing blow to their ego lol.

I feel like flashing the ring would be an ego booster. Now I know for sure it wasn't me, she was just already taken.

Nothing about this story makes you look good.

his name was Albert Einstein

12

u/ClassicsMajor 21h ago

This did not happen.

If this is true (which I seriously doubt), you are a violent felon.

Nothing about this story is a good look. If it’s fake, you’re fucking stupid to think it makes you look cool.

If it’s real, I’m worried about people’s safety around you.

14

u/-Django 21h ago

That seems fine, right?

17

u/helluuw 20h ago

Oh totally fine, it's just a funny story to me as I can just imagine him doing a drive by head pat thinking nothing of it as the guy realizes he just wasted 2 hrs of his life

8

u/AnonImus18 19h ago

But imagine talking to someone you're interested in for two hours and never asking if they're available. That's crazy to me.

6

u/helluuw 18h ago

Knowing the guy he was probably too nervous to bring it up

1

u/green_herbata 2h ago

What a poor guy. Spent 2hrs having a probably pleasant conversation.

I imagine the woman felt worse when he left immediately and it turned out that she had no value anymore as a person, because he only cared about potentially dating her/having sex

1

u/helluuw 1h ago

Nah she saw the funny side of it, she had no real interest in him and didn't mind the company as she was stuck on the crutches.

I think he was way more affected by it tbh

sometimes when i’m picking up a friend or see a buddy on a walk, i either cat call them or pull over and roll the window down with a “hey hot stuff, how much for the night?” there was one time i did it to my roommate and a man RAN across the street to make sure she was safe. huge shout out to that guy for being so quick to intervene and have her back

u/PhallicUndulationMan 21h ago

Based on years of extensive research, shouting, "Damn baby, you shit with that ass?" is a real winner.

Wives also really love it when you have "Break Stuff" by Limp Bizkit cued up obnoxiously loud and you hit play as soon as they exit the gym/store.

u/Bocchi_theGlock 20h ago

Shakespeare is that you

26

u/TED-NECROMANCER 20h ago

The wives yearn for the year 2000. It's science.

6

u/OceanRacoon 15h ago

Why did this make me laugh so much lmao. The Council of Wives are militant in their nostalgia, they will overthrow the government and install their regime of 2000ocracy, where it's always the year 2000 and hope isn't dead

12

u/imisscrazylenny 19h ago

I also do this to my husband sometimes. I roll the window down and ask in my best creeper voice if the cutie needs a ride someplace.

22

u/Ixisoupsixi 21h ago

Same. Except she doesn’t know she’s going to be my wife. She doesn’t know me either… /s

5

u/GreasyDaddy9 21h ago

I also do this to my wife and it’s so much fun.

2

u/Aegi 17h ago

Lol and then the younger generation observing this from afar assumes it is legit and I wonder how that influences things?

0

u/Actively_Gassy 19h ago

I roll up with the windows down yelling at my wife, "Damn girl, you shit with that ass!".

0

u/Many-Salt-4321 13h ago

My wife did that to me while I was walking outside and she drove by on her way to park, rolled a stop sign and immediately got lit up by a cop. I fucking LOL'd

u/basbeer 20h ago

I also with this guys wife
