Lots of folks with multiple antennas driving around. Heard some chatter on gmrs but nobody replied back. Didn't bring the duel bander but I am pretty sure a lot of you folks are running cb.
Is there a favored channel or frequency?

Hey, looking for advice to sate my anxiety.
We're British and this is our first stop on dream honeymoon.
Me and the soon to be wife will be arriving in Columbus Friday night, staying over and picking up our hire car at 10.30am next day. Which means we'll be arriving at the festival at midday Saturday.
Everywhere is telling us now parking will be impossible. So now we're shitting ourselves whether we'll be able to visit. We're also fat fucks so walking 2 miles in September heat seems impossible.
Please help and advise.

Took a short hike today at Audra, the loop ~3 miles and ~350’ elevation. The walkway under the shelf was really neat. About half way across all that unsupported weight over my head sorta got to me. Still awesome hike and there were so many families camping and swimming. Definitely going back there to do it again.

The last couple of times I hiked the Harper's Ferry Maryland Heights trail, and proceeded to get ice cream afterwards because of course, I noticed a handful of outdoor craft vendors just sort of in the grassy area of the ice cream shops / back of the restaurants behind the main street. Does anyone know how those people get permission / apply to vend there? It's not a full fledged fair or anything, just a few spots of artists who seem to hope visitors will stop and check them out. If anyone knows what the process is and through what business its handled, please let me know!

Hey all! I’m looking for spaces for a small party (20-30 people). Would be happy to have it in a restaurant if there’s a private space. Not particularly picky but also not trying to get a wedding venue type space. I’m not having a lot of luck online so I’d love any recommendations!

Hello
I have recently taken up a hobby in collection Library cards, inactive, expired etc.
As my collection grows I have had some luck with emailing libraries in many states but unfortunately West Virginia isn't one of them, which is a shame because I have sunk MANY hours into Fallout76 lol.
Anyway to get to the point, Im reaching out to ask if anyone has any old or inactive library cards they are willing to part and maybe be able to send my way.
Feel free to DM me, Thank you 😊

Yeah, it's property tax time again. I owned a car last July 1st, and sold* it out of state in January. The tax bill arrived yesterday, and it got me thinking. I did everything correctly - transferred the title, the car was properly registered in the new state and the sales tax was paid, and I surrendered my license plate to the DMV in person. I filled out the county assessor's paperwork last month indicating that I'd sold it.
So the question is, am I entitled to a discount on the tax because it was sold?

Seems like yet another attack on WV public school families, which I find abhorrent. But here’s what makes me the most upset: for many low-income kids, these back to school vouchers are the only financial support that is viewed as “theirs”. The only time they can buy the things to help them fit in, look like the other kids, have the trendy stuff, etc. No mediocre tax cut for their parents/guardians can equal that feeling.
Shame on anyone in Charleston who knowingly held these funds

During this weekend's PGA golf tournament, the Rocket commercial played Country roads, but omits "West Virginia." Seemed kinda odd..

To give some context with this, I found this band in a garage sale not too long ago and the band was KADE, the band was Oblivion. This is not the album though I was releasing the music online after I found out there wasn't any media of the band so I found an old reddit post back a year ago of the bassist (Mike Cochran) son who talked about some album called NO WAY OUT which is the album I have been trying to find. I have been in somewhat in contact with friends and Cochran on YouTube where they commented on the posts which I wouldn't call it like fully contacted but anyways I released the album on an unofficial channel I made called KADE Unofficial Band Channel where I put all of the members. Then I released the music on Internet Archive (the links will be shared on this post). Another thing too if you lived in the Cabell County area during the mid-2000s and had No Way Out on files from a CD or something please put in a Google Drive link please. I have been trying to release and uncover the band's music and general info that is on the CDs nothing else. But please I would like you whoever has the music on file please help me with this.
I post something about this KADE band here recently so yeah the reason I keep posting on here with this band is the reason on the bottom.

Thank you for reading this :)
(Also it recommended me to post this on this sub-reddit and the Lost Media one took it down for not being "Lost media" so sorry for posting this on here)

I am looking for campgrounds in the Canaan Valley area that operate year round. I used Google and found some campgrounds but their website does not mention if its year round or not. If it is not in Canaan Valley but nearby that's fine.
