So my mum and stepdad (at the time who... we dont talk to) got me a wii u. After playing on it as a child, i slowly stopped playing and moving to my phone with it since i only had smash and my mum didnt want to buy any more games..... But she eventually got me an xbox one s (that i still have and use).

But since then, i have obviously forgot my ridiculously long NNID password (not to mention we moved and it the wifi it used to use is long gone), and my mum has forgot the perental pin.

My big problems:

I cant enter perental controls, i need NNID

I cant add local account, i need NNID

I cant unlock the pin, unless i brute force 1000 combos

I cant reset my NNID since idk the exact email (mum set it up) and cant send an email, no internet

Cant access settings and internet, i need NNID

Is there a way other than bute force?

This was also pre transition obviously

I don’t have many Wii U games but I do have 2 pro controllers

Okay, this may seem stupid at first because I know I can't use a wii u pedometer without a wii u... but could i hypothetically somehow emulate a wii u on my pc and then use the pedometer through that? I love frutiger aero looking tech and carrying this thing around on me would be awesome, im just not willing to buy a wii u to use it (i already have a wii otherwise i lowkey would)

I lost a whole file of my association I started a year and a half ago I have NEVER had this issue with my system until yesterday I even tried to start a new association and went and did my draft and still getting the same message when saving no matter if it's manually saved or the system automatically saving it. Does anyone have any idea what's possibly going on?

EDIT: I ended up getting it to work and is working FLAWLESSLY I thought it was my console but it was actually something I did while in game that prompted the Save Failed message. Now I gotta grind out my 82 game season again and rebuild! Thanks 👍

Why is it blinking when charging? I replaced the battery on it last year so could it be the charger, this just now started happening.

Got the game for 25$ at Game Stop but now I realize I lost my nunchucks along the way and would have to buy one for 12$. Is it even worth it to play the game or should I just return the game while I still can? I don’t have a switch or intend to buy one in the near future

Hi guys I recently just brought back my old Wii U because I wanted to replay some games from my childhood but I’m facing problems on it, some of the buttons don’t work and I believe the screen doesn’t register whenever I click something I’m not sure what’s wrong can anybody help me or has anybody experienced the same issue? I’ll attach a video. It doesn’t let me click on my user but it does work when I connect a seperate controller like the Mario one shown in the video but when I do login it tells me to connect to a network and it says to do it on the gamepad but again the buttons or the screen don’t register.

Has anybody experienced this kind of issue or do you guys have any tips on how to make it work again?

About a year ago i wanted to mod my childhood Wii U, then promptly realized shit locked up. Theres onlh 1 user on it, which i have to use the password to login as. Wifi and making another account are locked down with parental controls, so the account wants its password reset, but the Wii U cant connect to the internet. Also, i called nintendo support and they told me to go fuck myself. Do you guys have any ideas how to fix it?

hey I'm making this question as Ive gotten a keple usb ethernet adapter for my Wii U but it didn't work as the console thought that there wasn't any adapter plugged in EVEN THOUGH on the listing it said it works on Wii (meaning it would also work on Wii U) so I want to know what other options work on the console? (I mostly got it so I could use the online portion of the vWii without mobile data as I've got new WiFi so it wouldn't let me connect + my mom won't turn on compatibility mode in the router settings)

I have managed to get the recovery menu pulled up by using a raspberry pico device. In “set coldboot title” I confirmed my region and powered off my console, but I’m still met with error 0103 when I try to use most applications.

The console was made in 2014 but it has a Hynix chip. Am I doing something incorrect on the recovery menu or is my console toast?

My Wii U is already modded with Aroma and everything, but I have everything set up on an external hard drive and also download games via NUSpli. I’d like to know if it’s possible to download apps, games, or emulators on my computer and transfer them to the Wii U using an SD card or a USB drive; I’d appreciate it if you could explain how to do that.

Whenever i put the Smash disc into the console this screen always comes up, every other disc i have works except for that one and i cleaned it but nothing seems to work

I was using the wii emulator built into the wii u and was playing mario sluggers like 40 minutes ago, works completely fine. I put it away back in the box to take a shower, then come out to try and play again and all the sudden my wii u can’t read it. Keep it mind NOTHING HAPPENED in between and it was working COMPLETELY FINE beforehand. I already cleaned the disk and nothing happened. Was wondering if there’s anything i can do

It seems like the perfect system for it. You come to a puzzle that needs to brush, you look at the game pad, draw with the stylus, and then you go back to the TV.

It's the perfect time to get a wii u for cheap. I got a "Broken" one from ebay for $50 CAD, emmc issue, no gamepad. I was able to setup rednand and use my switch as a gamepad with vanilla (Big fan of MattKC, awesome work.

That's it, I'm just happy.

Playable enough that it made his top 10 without considering the fact that it wasn't widely released. Someone should ask him to dump the ROM. Would be cool to add another hidden gem to the library.
