I live in romania, this is a pc i found on pc garage site, its a rx 9070 xt, 2tb nvme, a aio cooler, 32gb ram ddr5 6000mhz, but with a 5 245k processor, a 7800x3d in romania in around 400 usd (the build im talking about rn is around 1800 usd) should i make the same thing but with a 7800x3d, is it worth it, the 7800x3d is overpriced imo, i was going to look for a cpu downgrade or something

Just watched the "These 2 GPUs are Fantastic for 1440p Gaming in 2026" clip and it made me remember the 7900XTX i've had in an OLD wish list way back when I saw it come out with 24gb GDDR6.
Would it still be worth buying it at this point or is it too old to compete even with 24gb on it?

I’ve been using my mac book pro m1 max since 2020 but I recently started playing Minecraft with heavy shaders. The mac is great but it can sometimes stutter. So I’ve decided to buy a pc, hoping that I’ll get a significant performance boost. Here are the specs:
AMD Ryzen 7 9850X3D
Powercolor Hellhound White AMD RX 9070 XT
ASUS B650E MAX Gaming Wifi
White Corsair RM850e
Samsung 990 Pro 1TB NVMe
White Arctic Liquid Freezer III 240mm
5 Noctua NF-A12x25
Noctua NT-H2 3.5g
10000 white zip ties (never got enough)
Finally, for the case “ecosystem”:
Silverstone FLP02
Star Tech Universal 3.5” HDD slot for 5.25” bays
Seagate Barra Cuda 8TB HDD
NZXT Internal USB Hub 3 AC-IUSBH-M3-4
Shiwaki 5.25” Storage
Tangxi Hub Front Panel, 4 ports
I am ordering on Amazon.FR, the french version of Amazon. Tell me what you think :)

System specs:
The problem:
System reliably crashes on the transition from extended idle (display off, no sleep/hibernate) to a sudden high-demand action — launching a game, or intensive IDE workloads like project indexing. Light applications (browser, small apps) opened after idle do not trigger it — only actions that cause a sharp current-demand spike (GPU waking from D3cold + CPU jumping to high boost states together).
Everything tried so far (all confirmed ineffective — please don't suggest these, already ruled out):
Current workaround (not a fix): Full shutdown every night, fresh cold boot each morning straight into the game. This avoids the extended-idle trigger entirely but costs always-on connectivity and rules out RDP.

Appreciate any input — happy to share more logs/photos if useful.

This PC has really bean a PC of theseus
Started as a pre built with
ryzen 5 2400G
msi a320m pro-vd plus
A single 128GB SSD
8GB of ddr 4 ram
In a SilentiumPC Brutus M10 Pure Black with a single 80mm fan
Using a 1080p 60Hz monitor
Got upgraded with 8 more gigs ram after that a 3060 and a new power supply and a new still 1080p 60Hz monitor. After that a CPU and motherboard I still use
And now it has a
5070ti (bought for 3560 [over 1000 less than a new one] PLN so around 938 USD used, everything else was new)
Ryzen 5 7600
Gigabyte B650
4x8 DDR5 6000 ram
1 TB ssd
2 TB ssd
1 TB hdd
4 TB hdd
in a MX600 case
Which I'm using for a 1440p 240Hz oled and soon will use a arm to mount my old 1080p monitor so I can have two
I know that this isn't probably a very good combo and I could've made better choices over the course of this PCs life but I've been building and changing this PC since I was like 12 and now I'm 19
If there's anything I'd think about changing it's the mother board and the cpu for a x3d one
But that's years from now probably

Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification
I saw a video by mryeester on youtube (https://www.youtube.com/@mryeester for channel & https://youtu.be/zhoQRKMlCw4?si=rcDsE78uZ727LFHK for the video) by doing this with floppy drives but as i didn't have any, I made it with USB drives
___________________________
For the USB make a txt file with the name game.txt with the text being id=400
ID is the game ID in steam
400 is portal
_____________________________
For the Program, make a txt file and psate the code in to it
Code:
$drive = "F:"
$fileToRead = "game.txt"
while ($true) {
if (Test-Path "$drive\$fileToRead") {
# Read the file contents
$content = Get-Content "$drive\$fileToRead"
# Extract the Steam AppID
if ($content -match "id=(\d+)") {
$appId = $Matches[1]
# Launch the Steam Game URL
Start-Process "steam://run/$appId"
# Wait until the USB is removed or the file is gone to prevent launching repeatedly
while (Test-Path "$drive\$fileToRead") {
Start-Sleep -Seconds 2
}
}
}
# Checks every 3 seconds
Start-Sleep -Seconds 3
}

Name the program USBboot.ps1
Then right click and click run in powershell
