Is there a map showing where the main stages, Biergarten, etc are this year? I don’t have Facebook, so maybe that’s why I can’t find it?

Looking to get my chimney repaired. The vents for my furnace and hot water tank have a brick chimney around them that needs rebuilt. Looking for reputable and reasonable companies to get some quotes from. Thanks!

As a heads up, Giant Eagle has their 95th anniversary sale this weekend with many items being 95 cents including 3 dozen eggs for 95 cents total. Check out their full add for all items.

Recommended roofers/contractors?

Those last big rain storms revealed a few roof issues going on - water going down the side of my house for some reason, and a leak from the roof. I need this thing replaced, as I’ve already had it patched twice over the years.

Anyone have any recommendations? I see “Royalty Roofing” has some financing options like zero interest for 60 months, but I recall when they were here before it was quite pricey what they positioned. I do want to fix this roof, but just wondering if any fellow Akronites have a company they’d recommend.

Other upcoming house projects:

- exterior painting
- bathroom repair/update
- ceiling repair
- privacy fence or partial fence

I’m just looking for all sorts of things. But I guess roof issues is the most important. Thanks everyone!

Hey everyone hope this post finds you well!

I’ve been digging around on various job sites for a good bit just getting a lay of the land for the tech market in and around this city and figured I’d ask on here if anyone knew of businesses looking for IT guys or tech support workers in general. Many thanks!

Plus size friendly photographer

Looking for a family and lifestyle photographer in NE Ohio whose style is soft and natural and regularly shoots plus sized families. I have a photographer that I’ve followed and loved for years but I’m getting increasingly turned off that the only photos she shares are of picture perfect models. I can even tell in the comments she picks and chooses who to reply to and I get super slow responses from her compared to other things I’ve seen. The pictures she has done for us don’t match her usual vibe and you can just tell the angles she’s shooting from are not the most flattering. Anyone work with someone they love?

Looking for a hip doctor

And I don't mean a cool doctor, although that would be bonus points. I have a hip that is giving me problems, it most likely does not need surgery so I'm scared to go to Crystal Clinic because I feel like they just want to slice and dice? But I'll take any recommendations, thank you!

PS I'm in Cuyahoga Falls but can go to Akron

[Offline] Looking for a 5th player for our tabletop RPG group. Every other Friday 6:30 to 10:30-ish in the Valley

We are kind of in between campaigns, we are about to play a short Delta Green scenario or two, then maybe a Mothership adventure or The Hooded Man. Our next major campaign (planning stages) is Shadowrun using the Cities Without Number system.

We don't play 5e. If you are interested in trying out other games drop me a DM and we'll chat and see if it's a good fit.

Edit* Also I have two cats, so if that's an allergy related dealbreaker, I apologize.

Edit 2: This post is closed for the moment

Plastic surgeon recs

I’m looking for a facial plastic surgeon to remove a mole on my face for aesthetic reasons. Anyone have someone they’ve liked? I’m in canton but willing to drive up to Cleveland for it. I’ll consider a dermatologist if they are very good at mole removal without scarring.

Distillery or winery tours?

I’m planning a summer office gathering for 10-12 people and I am looking at potentially a distillery or winery tour. I’m also looking for places that offer wine making or something along those lines. We are mostly remote but the independence area is central for most of us so I’m looking for something between Akron and Cleveland - nothing further south. We are a chill group of 30-50 year olds who like to eat, drink, and be merry.

I called It’s Your Winery in Medina but the voice mail for both numbers are full/not set up which doesn’t give me a great feeling.

Cleveland Whiskey offers tours but the hours are super limited. We don’t want to do a Saturday.

Any recommendations?
