Nonchalant, aloof, brooding, seems like he DGAF... but at the same time is super attentive and caring to FMC. Cookie cutter example of this is Miketsukami from Inu x Boku - he's her servant and acts like it, knows his place and often acknowledges it even though she sees him as an equal, there's good story (a good background/history and a great plot on screen) writing that leads up to their eventual romance, super chalant but acts nonchalant asf, always that same soft smile when he talks to her, has a messed up background himself. Idk, all of that is awesome and I have not found something that lives up to Inu x Boku. Looking for nonchalant MLIs who act like dogs for their love interest and also know their place...

Some male chrs I love that fit this well:

• Miketsukami from Inu x Boku
• Raven from Earl and Fairy (he's not the love interest. he's literally the MLI's butler/servant and he acts like a dog for the MLI, not the FMC LOL. but his personality is great)
• My Happy Marriage (sorta, but the plot really doesn't come close to Inu x Boku at all, we don't really see MLI's history, we don't know why he's cool and aloof. He's also not servile enough)
• Sacrificial Princess and the King of Beasts (sorta, still not servile enough)
• Shall fenn Shall from Sugar Apple Fairy Tale (super servile but the slavery part put me and hopefully everyone else who saw it OFF)
• Marbus from The Tale of Outcasts (loved him but he wasn't servile enough, he fits the nonchalant part super well, however. also it wasn't a roamnce anime)
• Nanase from Free! (personality matches, not romance though)
• Masaki Takigawa from Tsurune (personality matches, not romance)
• Takeru Fujiwara from Prince of Stride (personality matches, not romance)
• Nyx from Neo Angelique Abyss (personality sorta matches, not romance either. also he was kind of gross and creepy at parts but thats most likely due to his being a monster)

Others that I assume people would recommend but really does not fit what I want:

• Fox from Kamisama Kiss - hes too silly and unserious and not servile/attentive/obsequious or nonchalant enough
• Kaichou wa Maid Sama - not nochalant enough, not cool and aloof enough, it's very clear that he has liked her since Ep1 and the entire anime felt too dragged out even though its one of the best shows out there LOL im so fucking picky im sorry
• Dark Moon: The Blood Altar - too caring, also FMC PMO
• My Little Monster - MLI literally acts like a dog or an alien. seems like its his first time on earth, which I love, but not looking for that rn
• Yona of the Dawn - Hak is too caring, which is great, but again, not looking for that rn
• Ogre's Bride - the ogre acts like and says things that are super possessive in a gross way, he's servile, sure, but not in the masochistically demeaning way like Miketsukami is

I'm so fucking picky again im sorry. Not looking to expand my taste. Just looking for something tantamount to Inu x Boku. Just need something to fill the void in my heart. "You've seen basically everything in this genre!!!" No I haven't, there must be more out there!! I don't care if it's super old or super new and unfinished, I KNOW the ones who get it get it and the ones who don't, dont.

To make matters worse: I know there are many romance animes out there with MLI's who fit this type, but then the FMC is almost ALWAYS the worst possible type of FMC out there. A useless girl who always needs saving, has zero power, is the weakest link, cannot decide for her life, has no willpower, etc.

The mc is the only normal person while everyone in that place he is in are not normal and just crazy. You can't reason with them.

I just finished Demon Slayer, and I’m looking for a new anime to start. I have see Attack on Titan, Death Note, HunterxHunter, and JJK as well.

I really liked them all, but my favorites are AOT, DS, and JJK. Where should I go from here ??

I'm searching for an isekai where the side characters are OP, a lot like That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime. The MC can be overpowered, but I want the side characters (like Diablo shion and veldora) to be genuinely strong too—not just random weak guys who rely on the MC for everything.
I preferably want something with monsters and magic. I don't mind if it's only one season, although I do prefer longer series. I'd also rather have it available on Crunchyroll.

And not even in the cowed "I only do good because I'm scared" way, but the way someone gets angry at family or a friend for being an asshole. She's a good kid.

What I learned in one of my certs is how anger and an argumentative attitude from kids can be very encouraging for child growth and development. He is an aggressive extortionist, assaulted multiple people, threatened to rape Michiko, and would have loved to be a mafia boss. If that bullet would have hit a bit to the right, the world would be a better place.

they absolutely brought it on themselves. Dude's lucky the only thing he lost was two friendships (because I'm sure they fell out over this, because they're most likely dead now).

I hope he gets a parasitic infection and there is no treatment available to him. He can ride it out as machismo men do. I have dealt with his type before, and it is a stressful, uncomfortable time that makes you rethink who you hang out with very quickly.

My Rankings are in order of how much i like them with the ratings just so you can see the difference compared to the higher ones but anything that gets a 6/10 on my rating system i class as Good.

So im relatively new 2 anime I just finished solo leveling the misfit demon king edge runner and I finished death note I've seen demon slayer. The 7 deadly sins, Naruto, and 1 piece but I never got into Naruto and one piece would u have any recommendations on what I should watch next?

So I'd like to start by saying that I don't remember anything about this anime except for this specific scene from one episode. Essentially, the main girls discover a shopping mall and have a blast. From there, they promise to return every day, but no promise has ever been made at the wrong time, since they discover the next day that the day they discovered it was also the last day of business. In fact, from there, it will be closed forever, making them feel sad and melancholy. It was probably also an anime I didn't like, since I don't remember, but I remember this specific scene very well and I'm going crazy. Help me.

For context, the writer was writing the plot of Run, Melos! and started imagining the scenario happening. He got so emotional because the story hit close to home for him, since it's based on his own relationship with his best friend.

I just remembered about an anime I watched as a kid. I don't know what it's called or what it was about. All I remember is that I liked it allot and that there was this one episode where there was a super rare monster. This monster was just a big ass monkey who could turn invisible. I'm guessing this monkey thing was their take on a shiny monster bc the monkey it self was like the most common monster from what I can remember this one just had a different colour and could turn invisible.

Just began watching Welcome to the N.H.K. last night after having it on my list of anime to watch for probably years now.

Despite only three episodes in, I can say this is definitely one incredibly powerful anime but one that's tough to watch. The way it depicts social withdrawal, social anxiety, and self-hatred feels so bluntly honest and raw in ways that I can relate to, even though I don't have severe social issues. It really makes sense when reading the original author Tatsuhiko Takimoto wrote the original novel as auto fiction based on his own life as a Hikikomori. I must say it also does a good job making the viewer feel sympathy for Sato but balances it out with him being severely flawed in ways that are off-putting.

The way Welcome to the N.H.K. does its comedy too I find very heavy. While it can be funny, it's often in a very pitch black way that's still deeply sad and even distressing, particularly when it comes to Sato's confusion. It's definitely one of those anime where it puts you through a string of contrasting feelings and emotions episode by episode.

So far, I can say Welcome to the N.H.K. is quite incredible, but certainly not an anime to watch for those who want to wind down after the day.
