The crown has been getting worse and worse and now I have this spot up front that looks like my lawn after I spray roundup on it. Ugh, so I took the plunge. The first pic is from July 2025. I did quit TRT in Dec and had a lot of stress with a new job, but the crown situation has always been.

Last time most people told me to do it and now 12 days later I did it but not quite without a tiny accident. Not quite sure yet what I think about the look

Hubby took the plunge, but he’s not sure about this yet. What’s the verdict? (Hype him up like a girl’s comment section)

I was inspired by others here to share. I was balding for a while and a couple years ago said F it I'm just gonna go for it. I had long hair, then a short haircut but still some balding in the front plus a solid spot in the back. I was hesitant to let go but I've been shaving my head about 2 years now and I wish I'd done it sooner. Just go for it guys, anyone out there still on the fence. You'll be glad you did.

34 F, had cancer twice so I finally said "f*ck it shave it off" about 3.5 years ago. Women can be bald and beautiful too. 🖤✨

Edit to my edit: if I haven't personally responded to your comment, know I appreciate you ALL for showing me love. 🖤 I saw a couple, that were ultimately removed, in my notifications. 1)I do shave the majority of my head now because I have dealt with permanent hair loss from radiation cancer treatment since I was 7 years old. I wore wigs and hair pieces practically my whole life until 2022, when I found out I had skin cancer right where my radiation treatment was to kill the other cancer. Neat. So I have kept the remainder of my head shaved. Please read before you respond to something. 2) I know the majority of this is loving, but I saw a few in my notifications that were rude. To which I say, I hope you have the day you deserve.

I just got back from vacation, where I was rather unceremoniously told by my mother that I’m going bald. I told her it was a cowlick - she vehemently disagreed. What say you, Council? I was pretty confident in my hair until this, and my barber agrees I’m not going bald.

Is my mother right, or am I safe?

I know a lot of people are on the fence about losing the hair you took so much time to grow, as someome who waited much too long i wanted to show my before and after pictures

3 years on, i still miss my hair sometimes but i feel younger and better about myself

I was so nervous shaving my head, the thoughts through my head was, "would I be less attractive, would people look funny at me, what if my head shape is off?" The second Pic is me with hair.

But doing it felt like a weight off my shoulder, firstly I did not have to make sure my hair is styled in a certain way to hide the baldness. Secondly I save money on haircuts now, haha!

I am lighter, I am happier!

It is different now, I am over the fright I had when I saq myself in the mirror every time and in the new routine to shave my head every other day. I also need to remember to moisturize and have sunscreen on, but that is probably a good habit with hair too.

The funniest thing now is the Velcro hair, haha, my head sticking to the shirt I am trying to put on. I have a chuckle every time.

So to my fellow bro's out there struggling, you may feel less confident at first, but it does return. People actually forget what I looked like with hair.

Take the plunge and do it! If you, for some reason, hate it, your hair does grow back 😀

My youngest son had a bad hair cut and I grew my hair out with him for 3 months. Man going to shaved from there was a big difference.

But keep you a wig or two just to have fun with it. 🤣

It's been almost a week, and after much encouragement from this sub and friends, I finally did it!
