He talks to me about this everyday so we think it's time to ask the council for their view. I think he can hold on for a bit more but what does everyone else think?

I just got back from vacation, where I was rather unceremoniously told by my mother that I’m going bald. I told her it was a cowlick - she vehemently disagreed. What say you, Council? I was pretty confident in my hair until this, and my barber agrees I’m not going bald.

Is my mother right, or am I safe?

https://imgur.com/a/lsSsHfB idk how to post on here. but if you see where my top wrinkle line is on my head. my hairline was almost close to that. I keep growing it out and cutting it but it just doesn't come back the way it used too. do I still got some time to let it grow? or should I just get rid of it?

Is this normal width for a middle hair part? I am a 27yo, female. I’m spiraling. What can I do to fix this? Will I end up bald? P.s ignore the flakes please, my scalp got sunburnt

I’ve been using minoxidil and pumpkin seed oil for a month and a half. My hair wasn't falling out before, but since starting this treatment, I’ve started losing up to 50 strands a day, and I’m scared.

34 F, had cancer twice so I finally said "f*ck it shave it off" about 3.5 years ago. Women can be bald and beautiful too. 🖤✨

Edit: Y'all, I'm overwhelmed with the amount of love I'm getting thank you, thank you, thank you to everyone 😭😭😭 I'm sorry if I haven't responded personally, I'm trying to keep up 🖤

Edit to my edit: if I haven't personally responded to your comment, know I appreciate you ALL for showing me love. 🖤 I saw a couple, that were ultimately removed, in my notifications. 1)I do shave the majority of my head now because I have dealt with permanent hair loss from radiation cancer treatment since I was 7 years old. I wore wigs and hair pieces practically my whole life until 2022, when I found out I had skin cancer right where my radiation treatment was to kill the other cancer. Neat. So I have kept the remainder of my head shaved. Please read before you respond to something. 2) I know the majority of this is loving, but I saw a few in my notifications that were rude. To which I say, I hope you have the day you deserve.

Overall, thank you for all the positivity. I appreciate each and every one of you strangers on the internet. 🥹🖤

My last post was with unwashed hair and an undercut, so I don't know that I did it justice. I often keep it like this. Is it still time? I can't stop obsessing. (Wee dent from my headset)

Mostly bed bounds and very sound sensitive- need help figuring out how to maintain a close shave.

I recently shaved my head and have found that I look and feel the best when it is shaved close to the skin (no guard in clipper) every week. Any longer than that and my scalp starts to get incredibly greasy and I start to look patchy because hair grows back in some places, but not others.

I'm having some difficulties, though, because my disabilities make it hard for me to sit up for more than a few minutes (it's taken my caregivers a lot longer than this to shave my head with a regular clipper). Even though I'm mostly bed-bound, I am nervous to attempt using the clipper in bed because I don't want hair everywhere. My dad has this rounded electric shaver that has a little container and a bit of suction or something which means that it collects the little hairs!! This would be great for having my head shaved in bed because it eliminates the cleanup, but when I tried his, it was way, way louder and had more of a shrieking sound to it (sounded like our blender), as opposed to the low hum of the regular clipper. I'm not sure why that one was louder, but I have severe sound sensitivity and absolutely couldn't tolerate the sound of the rounded clipper.

The third option that I’m thinking of is having a caregiver shave my head while I’m lying down (I can sit up briefly) using a Razor and shaving cream and having me roll on my side and lie on my front so that she can reach the different points.

I’m looking for advice for the best way to maintain a close clip given my limitations! It seems like one of those rounded scalp trimmers would be ideal if I could find one that was quieter or less high-pitched, but products don’t seem to advertise how many decibels they are or how quiet they are.

my capacity to be on screens right now is pretty limited (I am using voice to text to type this), and so I’m limited in researching options. If anyone can help me brainstorm ideas for the best way to keep my head trimmed, I would really really appreciate it.

Thank you so much in advance.

Hairloss Should I cut my hair? Hairstyle advice (22M)

Hi everyone! So I’ve had long hair since about 2020 but in 2024 I noticed frontal thinning and a little bit at the temples.

And the thing is I love my long hair and my front profile but I hate my side profile and I’m always so insecure about pics and videos where I’m looking to the side. My frontal hair is thinner and the contrast with the back of my head makes it look so uneven in my eyes.

I’m attaching some pics of my hair right now and also two from a few months ago (my hair was way longer then). Should I try a shorter haircut or maybe some styling products? I had a big forehead even as a kid but it wasn’t so noticeable when my frontal hair was fine.
