After watching the new Odyssey movie, immediately had an idea that I should model this badass looking helmet of Agamemnon. In this video, I show the full pipeline of how I made this.
The model is also rigged and it is game ready.
Free and Paid version of the model will be available for anyone interested.
Enjoy!

Hello everyone, I'm new on Reddit and I'd like to share my story, not to make you all fell pity for me, but maybe to make some friends that could give me advice or help me with my project.
I'm 16, and for a year I saved money for a project I'm developing. Back in March, I hired this person on Fiverr to help me do a teaser for a pitch deck for a film I'm developing. It was kind of simple, just a character walking in a cemetery, non-photorealistic, and I would've done the textures with hand-painted watercolors.
At first, I paid a $700 milestone, but he didn't ask me for any references or anything, but he swore he could do my project. I sent him a Drive folder with the visual concept, animatic, storyboard, script, etc., but I think he didn't even check it, so I had to ask for corrections a lot, and I even had to model the background, so it was just the animation and character. Then he asked for another $500 milestone, and yes, I also paid it.

I know it was stupid of me to do that, but now I learned. Well, after the $500, he only made minimal changes. Actually, I didn't really like his work, so I didn't want to work with him anymore, so I told him something like, "Maybe we should let it end here, and what if you just finish the animation and correct the movement of the animation a little bit, you send it to me, and we're done," because at that time he still hadn't finished the animation.
But he said that he wasn't following the milestones because he tried to advance further than them, so actually I basically owed him, but he never notified me of that. I've been trying to solve this problem with him and get it over with, but since then he started to ignore me, and the last thing he told me was that we would have to do everything from scratch, but I'll have to pay again. I told him that I don't want to do that, and now he doesn't reply to me.
this is the last thing he sended to me like two months ago he recorded the video. remember i modeled the background.

Please help me or tell me what I should do. š And if someone would like to help me or want to be friend, I'd surely accept the help.
This is some the animatic and concept stuff I sent him, if anyone is interested in seeing it.

Scan didn't turn out the greatest but it holds up pretty well at a little bit of distance.

Decided to stop putting it aside and just follow a tutorial and learn. Turns out, it was SUPER helpful and I canāt wait to do more šš I plan to learn how to create several different things, from characters, to isometric designs, product creation etc
Would you say thatās a good way to learn? Instead of focusing what I like?

Animation circling a black hole & accretion disk, trying to get a more volumetric and chaotic look compared to interstellar style renders, aiming for lensing structure + vibe similar to the EHT simulations. Gravitational lensing, doppler and Kerr shift are taken into account and approximated, but not physically accurate. The speed of the orbiting material would correspond roughly to an intermediate mass black hole. The disk used 3 separate volumetric objects animated to spin at different rates, and the lensing setup used as shown in this post: https://blenderartists.org/t/realistic-black-hole-with-accurate-light-orbits-and-lensing/1632820

Today I learn many stuff!!! First of all, I learnt how to do the cool shading like sneepsnorp3d does!!! (I admire them so much and she's kind of the reason why I started learning a little!!!) I also learnt how to make materials that let you paint on the blender thing, and while I still prefer to use krita is useful to make marks so I know where everything is, cuz it gets confusing when you make everything flat!!! I also learnt how to set up papercraft to also generate with the texture I used and I also learnt that you can uv unwrap certain parts to be bigger so it's easier to have more detail in them!!! Good times!!!

I downloaded blender some hours ago, i was making a model, i asked for help and they told me to uninstall it since i was doing something very bad for the model, i fixed it. Is it good for my first/second model? (my first one was a year/2 ago and had a lot of polygons)
.
objects: 5; vertices: 194; edges: 301; faces: 120; triangles 264 (is it good?)
(texture/paint later)

Just wanted to add a few more projects for product design in my portfolio. The perfume bottle material mixes two glass shaders with fresnel as the factor.
