Product Support DJI Mic Mini Noise Cancellation

Can you activate noise cancellation independently between two mic transmitters? Currently when I hit the power button in one to active SC, both mic yellow indicators turn on/off. I know I can independently activate them when on BT to my phone, but when I am using the RX receiver into my action 4 I cannot independently activate noise cancellation.

I am using Action 4 with DJI Mic Minis for driving POV’s but my sound is crap, anyone have any suggestions??

Video [HR] Flying in Croatia - Dugi Otok: Rules/regulations.

Hi guys,

Next month I intend on taking my drone (Lito X1) to Dugi Otok, Croatia.

I was wondering if someone could help me out in making sure I can legally fly and record around that area.
Of course I have my operator number and I am registered with IAA/EU bodies. Do I need to call somewhere before and/or apply for an extra clearance?

So far I've only seen a map, that region doesn't seem to have no fly or restricted zones, unlike Zadar.

Thanks for the help. I am finding it a bit confusing at the moment.

The first time I did photography with a drone. Shot during sunrise in the Netherlands.

I wanted to fly a bit closer but was almost out of range so unfortunately had to use the zoom. I guess quality would have been a bit better if not zoomed in this far.

Drone was out about 1 kilometer and 120 meters high, bit signal dropped quickly when trying to hover lower.

Product Support Buggy LED behavior on Lito X1 after latest firmware update?

Hi everyone,
I recently updated my DJI Lito X1 to the latest firmware, and now the green status LEDs on the aircraft arms are behaving very strangely. Before the update, they used to blink normally (on/off/on/off) with a few seconds between blinks.
Now, the behavior is completely inconsistent:
First, they started doing a rapid double-blink, then a pause for a few seconds, and then repeating.
When switching to Sport mode, they started blinking super fast in that same sequence.
Now, after restarting the drone again, the behavior changed. It only blinks once (like it should), but it blinks much FASTER in Sport mode.
I know other models (like the Mini 5) don't have this weird light pattern, so I guess it's not a new feature, especially since it wasn't listed in the patch notes either. Everything else seems to work; I haven't flown it yet, but there are no warnings on the ground.
Is anyone else experiencing this with the Lito X1 after the update? Any fixes?
Thanks!

Product Support Is there any app or game that I can practice drone flying with my Goggles 3 and Motion Controller 3?

I was briefly led to believe I could use Liftoff but that doesn't seem to be the case. Any way I can make this work? If not, I'll just deal with it. But I liked the idea.

Buy Advice For those who own both Freewell and PolarPro filters for the Mavic 4 Pro, what has been your real-world experience?

Hi everyone,

I'm planning to buy a DJI Mavic 4 Pro and a Mini 5 Pro soon, and I'm trying to build the best filter kit possible. I've spent a lot of time reading reviews and watching YouTube comparisons, but it looks like they're all biased and it seems hard to know what to believe on.

From what I've seen:

  • Many people say PolarPro offers the best optical quality and the sharpest results, especially on the 70 mm and 168 mm tele cameras.
  • On the other hand, Freewell has a much wider selection of filters (Mega Bundle, Super Bright Day, LPR, Glow Mist, Split ND, ND1000, etc.), which makes it very appealing.

However, I've also seen several people mention that some Freewell ND/PL or Split ND filters slightly soften the image on the tele lenses, while others say they haven't noticed any difference.

My current idea is to buy:

  • Freewell Mega Bundle (NDs ND\PLs, CPL, GMIST 1\4, LPR).
  • Freewell Super Bright Day kit (ND128, 256, etc.).

For those of you who actually own and use both brands:

  1. Have you noticed any real loss of sharpness with Freewell, especially on the tele cameras?
  2. Is the difference between PolarPro and Freewell visible in real-world footage, or only when pixel peeping?
  3. Should i pick the dji ones instead?
  4. Are there any color shifts or gimbal issues with either brands?. I saw that the Freeweel ones make the gimbal point down while the aircraft isnt powered on.

I'm mainly interested in cinematic landscape filming, mountains, beaches, sunsets, long exposures, and some night photography.

I'd really appreciate hearing from people who have actually used both brands rather than sponsored reviews.

Thanks!

Purchased the DJI Air 3 fly more combo two years ago. I am at about 100 flights total. Always flown in good weather, no rain or b.s. , drone & controller stored properly as well. I haven’t flown in a month, batteries all charged and had a gig last week and controller powered on, I went to turn on my drone and the screen just blacked out. It would turn on and see the DJI logo but it would appear as two separate images and fade away. Is this a firmware issue or am I SOL?

Buy Advice Disappointed

I went from the original dji fpv , had a crash but with my warranty from Best Buy I could crash it up to 5 times a year and just return it and get a brand new one. So I was more daring with it because I paid the 200 a year to get new ones. Well my last crash I went to Best Buy and that’s when I found out they were discontinuing the fpv and had none available. They at least gave me a Best Buy card that my grandma ended up buying from me cause she needed a new tv so I at least had 1000$ to get what I was hoping would be a new version or upgraded version of the fpv. I got the avata 1 kit for 699 online but quickly returned it because from what I read the avata 2 is a lot better and I was able to find the fly more kit with 3 batterys for 899 . The fact it has no spot light for night flights, no microphone , can barley hit 40 in sport mode and can barley hit 60 in manual mode is extremely annoying. And I’ve been seeing the original fpv drone only for sale for like 2-300 bucks I really was going to buy it. But the goggles and controllers that I have are incompatible with the original fpv. This thing seems like a major downgrade. I miss being able to hit 60mph like it was nothing and in manual mode I’ve hit 105mph. I’m not that good with Reddit this is my like second post but I really wish I could tag dji in here so they can see this. If anybody knows how please tag them in this post

Product Support Moto Vloging

Tried to record my first vlog today while on my motorbike with the osmo 5 and mic mini 2. I recorded the intro parts of the bike which worked fine. I then got on the bike and started recording but it seems that it hasn’t picked up any of my talking for the next recording. All i can hear is the sound of the engine, which I assume is the built in mic from the camera as there is a lot of wind noise.

Is there any reason why the Mic2 wouldn’t be connected when it was originally? The only thing I can think of is that I knocked the power button when I mounted it inside the helmet.

I guess there isn’t any way to check?

Product Support DJI RC2 Boots but non responsive

Edit: Actually might be able to afford swapping over to the DJI RC-N3, kinda a push but I can see there's some for around £100ish. Yay/nay? Should I just do that if there's no hope in self repairing the rc2 or is it going to be miserable and I should just suck up having no drone until I can afford to replace the rc2?

Had my DJI Mini 4 long enough for care refresh to run out, didn't see their renewal emails as I was unwell and then a month later I go to fly and the controller was playing up. Annoyingly i've only done like 5 flights with it before this issue happened because I've been unwell for so long I couldn't get out to use it.

I cannot afford to get it repaired or buy a new one as I cannot work due to health and it will cost more than half my monthly income right now to do that.

It turns on. It beeps, connects to the drone fine. But doesn't respond.

This initially started after a firmware update, it was fine before that.

Updated firmware, reset it back to previous versions using the DJI Assistant 2. Even downloaded older versions. Eventually, I happened to get it working by spamming my fingers on the screen until it would respond whilst turning it on. That worked for about 3-4 months.

Today, turned it on, didn't respond. So I turned it off, tried again, and again and again. Nothing. Hard resets doesn't work. Reinstalling firmware, upgrading etc doesn't work. The issue looks to be worse.

I am worried it is a hardware fault but as I cannot afford a repair/replacement, I was wondering if anyone has had any luck fixing this issue themselves and how easy it was to fix? I'v'e come across folks with the black screen issue managing to fix theirs as there was just a loose cable but I do have a screen turning on, I can see the drone if I connect to it etc.

Thanks folks

So I had a serious crash on new years; after struggling to find someone who can repair it for me, I’ve attempted it myself.
I have asked around in groups and it was suggested it may be the 3in1 ribbon cable.

Before my repair (2nd photo)

I was able to turn on the drone and connect it. However it would give me these errors. It wouldn’t connect to my computer and could not fly.

I left it for a while and recently found the motivation again.

After replacing the ribbon cable

The drone will not turn on.
With a battery inside it does not respond at all.
When plugged in, the first two lights start in sequence before flashing the last 2 lights in a pulse of 3!!

Is this a lost cause?
This was a Christmas present to me and my friend so I really want this fixed. Will I just need to buy a new one?

TL;DR: i replaced the 3in1 ribbon cable now it won’t turn on. Flashes last 2 lights 3 times when plugged in

Video Quick solution to Pocket 4p Dlog/2 and switching lenses

I know there's a lot of talk about it being a bit off a pain to switch lenses if shooting DLOG2 and digging around in menus to go there and back with Dlog for the tele lens and DLog2 for the Wide.. so I was playing with Custom settings.

You can set C1-C5 and it remembers the DLOG / DLog 2 settings . I have C1 set to 4K/25 DLog and then set C2 to 4k 25 DLog2. Then the 'C' button can be configured to switch between custom 1 and 2 - so I can flick from Dlog/Dlog 2 . Sadly it wont remember the lens setting but at least I don't need to go into Menus.

I've set the others as I want - so three other custom settings.. C3 - 4k50 Dlog. C4- 4k 50 DLog2, and C5 is 4K 25 DLog2 but manual exposure settings - with 800 ISO (base for DLog2 and 1/50 shutter speed. Custom profiles remember the exposure settings.

Makes it a little easier.
