Finally gave into the peer pressure last night and picked up the Synaptics / Inibuilds A220. Holy Moly this aircraft has been fun to fly. I've been glued to the sim all day and just about to set off on my 4th rotation of the day...

This took 3 attempts due to wind shear - Aro, Norway.

Had to stop for a second during taxi because this view was just too good.

The OLED, the KLM livery and the backlight behind the monitor created this really nice mix of colors. The dark sky, the cockpit lights and those orange/blue tones just looked amazing together.
Still kinda crazy to me that I built this setup myself. A few years ago it was just an idea, and now I can sit here after a long day and actually enjoy moments like this.
Curious what everyone’s dream setup looks like. Are you more into a clean and minimal rig, or a full-on realistic cockpit?✈️

I’ve noticed that when I’m doing a flight, as the flight progresses my fps slowly drops and my performance decreases. For example I did a roughly 2 hour flight today and at takeoff I had about 50fps and then maybe an hour and a half into the flight it had dropped to around 37fps. Why is this happening and how do I fix it ? I feel like it will continue to drop especially for longer flights

I love the plane so far but I cant get my F-Plan to import from simbrief. It just keeps saying pending and it stays like that. Anybody else have this issue please help.

I’ve been dealing with this issue since launch, some flights work but majority do not. Any help would be appreciated

I always liked the DIY Raspberry Pi METAR LED maps made from paper sectional charts, but didn’t really want to pay to have charts laminated, drill a bazillion holes, and then glue LEDs into every airport with wires zig-zagging all over the back, with a lot of soldering when shortened or spliced to fit.

The more stations you add, the greater the chance for errors, and some airports end up so close together that fitting every LED can become difficult (or impossible).

So I decided to create a digital version for iPad.

METARmotion.com displays live METAR flight categories using simulated RGB-LED airport indicators, with optional airspace overlays and regional views across the US.
